Ideas and suggestions!

I haven't heard the full details of the new physics, but I do know about the Micro Ups, having participated in the open testing.

Several people in the game have told me that Railgun, my favorite weapon, will be nerfed in the new physics update. I also thought it had too many MUs. I think that with the implementation of the large updates, a full refund should be given, with all the hulls and guns reset to stock (M0), and crystals returned in full. That way, players would be able to switch too a different weapon if their main battle weapon got nerfed and became too weak to do well with.

I have been playing since a little bit before the Rebalance, a miserable idea that multiplied prices by 10 but did not change crystals drop and battle funds in a proportional way. A refund was provided afterwards, but with prices at 10 times the refund may as well never have happened. I cannot see why a refund would be too difficult to do, so I strongly suggest for the dev team to give one due to the large changes.

Another idea would be to add a "sell" button on turrets and hulls, that you could use once a day. The button would revert your item back to stock, and give you 90% of crystals or something.

You misunderstood what's happening in the MUs' *For more info go here  http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=183932

If u are suggesting a re-balance it WON'T happen as it will ruin the game.  perfectly explained it, read the last post http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=182531&page=3&hl=rebalance&do=findComment&comment=3197401

And the sell button, It was denied many times from the moderators.

I meant a refund, not a rebalance; I should have said that more clearly. Thanks for the links, they are quite helpful. I did not know about the sell button problem.

Haven't I seen you in some Silence game? I think you were a Freeze & Titan with Alien at the time; you kept drugging -_-

Hazel_Rah meant a refund too. It's impossible and has much more cost than benefit ;)

I don't care if they're worried about the darn economy; I want the money I spent on my guns back if they're gonna nerf them. The refund was useless at the rebalancing because everything was 10 times more expensive to upgrade afterwards. They still have the same currency value, a refund would give money back to those who wish to spend it elsewhere. This seems like another one of the devs' money-making schemes that make the game less enjoyable. Since people's weapons have been nerfed, many will not want them. Some of these people will buy crystals in order to upgrade the weapons they used to consider weak but are now powerful. People bought more crystals after the RB because the overall crystal earning rate was not raised in complete proportion to the prices, and they wanted the weapons and hulls upgraded sooner. I see what Hazel is saying. The thing I fail to understand is their logic. Hazel has already stated that the currency will not be changing. If so, then why will a refund ruin the game economy? Hazel is acting like it was the refund that made everyone mad. It was really because they skyrocketed upgrade prices so the refund did no good. The refund worked fine; it was the RB being implemented at the same time that made it useless. If people still like their weapons even after the update, then they can simply purchase their upgrades again.

Sorry if I sound harsh; I'm really pissed that they aren't giving a refund after nerfing my favorite weapons.

how about special Hulls or turrent you can get if you win something...Like what they do with lucky 7..or the tournaments...just if you get something like the most kills with railgun in a month you get something similar to that gun (like the old smokey XP), more powereful than m3 but not terribly over powered

( you would have to keep your status as player with the most kills every moth to keep the weapon, like the tournaments to)

I like the idea where you can do missions to get achievements, crystals or items.

For example, "Destroy 10 tanks without being destroyed" or "Slow down 20 tanks with freeze"

Missions will get gradually harder, but the rewards will as well.

Keep in mind, this is just my opinion.

This is well thought out I must say. I feel the same way, I think lot's of people are stuck saying "Developer's have turned down the sell button" many times...but what they aren't thinking of is that, at that time it was to get crystals. But right now it's for a REAL reason. I think this is going to be a contrevorsy in the future (Excuse any bad spelling)

the abilty 2 but experience with crstls should be back bcoz in sales they help many players so plzz plzz add it plzz

I compeletly Agree with this subject. This can help to benefits of game for designers and encourage the low rank player to grow fast!

I would be glad if the moderators can active this (At least) for some special days such as 1 jan or Christmas 2014.

"nerfing" is being used as a bit of a too strong term nowadays ...  this is not what is really happening, in the sense that a weapon is being relegated to a lower power state .. nop .. and its good that you mention the rebalance phase as well .. let me try put it in more simple laymen terms:

The goal of rebalance was to make every weapon-hull combo equal on the battlefield..  But, rebalance was not perfect !  After rebalance some combos were still overpowering some others out there.  Despite the overall balance being much more closer to neutral, it still is not quite there yet, and hence the upcoming balancing patch which will further fine-tune the game dynamics to make the balance even closer to neutral.  And yes, even after that it still will not be perfect, but we'll get closer to it, and hence the further fine-tuning planned in future,, its a long long process and takes time.  And even more complicated than you think is the fact that what seems to be a neutral point now changes constantly, cause the perfect balance depends on you players and your ever increasing / decreasing / fluctuating  skills with different combo.  There is also a factor of what makes you happy, what makes others unhappy and finding the proper balance in all that jungle of several millions of opinions, skills and technical maths is quite complicated ... This is the reason that caused this update to be sent back to the drawing board several times , its been a nightmare !!!

Now about your weapons ,, the videos made by tanki itself on its videoblog and several others who have been on test server are not giving you the full picture at all !!

The main highlights you got was twins fire rate was reduced, rico's was increased, and shaft as well ...   <------ these 1 line explanations do not reflect the work done by devs and programmers and testers over the last nearly whole year AT ALL !!!

Each gun and hull have several parameters and whenever they lose on some aspect, e.g fire rate, the devs make sure the gain on other parameters.  This is the reason why you should not rely only on what you are being told on these videos as they are not complete .

And, to all those complaining about twinsy getting nerfed, i've myself tried it on test on a hunter and i pwned with it, i even find it still overpowered in some cases ...  the trick to it lies in exploiting all these other parameters to your advantages,, the tiny things most people don't see.

Overall, its not a nerfing.  It is neither a major re-design of the game like the rebalance was.  Refunding in this case is not a needed thing.

and just to end on better note:  all guns and hulls are in fact getting enhanced .   Every one of them .

Still not convinced... My favorite weapon is Railgun, which they seem to want to reduce damage on. I use Wasp M1, so turret turning speed is not a problem, if they think that will keep people happy. Before the Rebalance, things were very simple: there were Generation 1 weapons and hulls, being Smoky, Railgun, Twins, and Firebird for the weapons, and Wasp, Hunter, Titan, and perhaps Dictator for hulls. The Generation 2 items were everything else. Players began with Gen 1s, gradually upgrading them, then moved on to the more powerful and expensive Gen 2s. After the RB, as you said, players now depend more on personal preferences and skills to succeed.

Does anyone know a thread with a more complete description of the changes the updates will bring, or are they all videos?

I hope that once they implement these changes, they will post a descriptive list of what they have done, because I don't want to have to go through my Garage trying to figure out what they did.

correct. I prefered Tanki before the rebalance- m3 railgun, m3 twins... now noobs have the best guns but only massive ranks can upgrade them. i think it should all go back to the good old times

Since there is a Gold Box, filled with 1000 crystals, how about a supplies box? One box will contain 50 supplies of each... And in special occasion there will be boxes filled with 100-500 supplies of each...

:)

Excellent idea, although to have 50 of each they'd have to be quite rare. I'd say let them fall at about the same rate as in game supply drops with only one each.

The problem with resetting the game back to pre-RB times is that Tanki now makes more money, and they want to keep it that way. before the RB, things were less than a tenth of the price they are now. Crystals fell in ones rather than tens, so it was much easier to save up money. Now, the prices have not gone up proportionally with crystal earning rates. People do not wish to be viewed as noobs, so they buy crystals, and they buy lots of them. This gives the Tanki staff more cash. With the Micro Upgrades coming, they will soon get even more cash. People will buy crystals so they can click the "Speed Up" button or the "Try Again" button with their MUs. People who don't buy, like me, will be unfairly outgunned. I agree, the pre-RB game was more enjoyable.
