I don't know might make the game even more unbalanced you know? But nevertheless great idea :D I should mock up a new turret...

It would be pretty neat if there was a EMP bomb.

How it would work: When a player presses oh lets say 6 a little target will pop up if your tank is facing a enemy tank the target will lock on there tank it will start counting down (lets say 5 seconds) if the 5 seconds are up the EMP bomb will do a explosion and some damage (probably 160-180 but you can change this) its range would be medium the only way to dodge the EMP bomb would be to get out of range or out of the target of the tank. It would cost 150 crystals in the garage. (This would be usefull for tank with medium range weapons)

it would be cool if u can watch a battle,like if the battle is full you wont be able to click play if you can just put a icon saying view battle or some kind of thing it would be cool.you see a friend in a battle but you dont want to play wouldnt it be cool if you go in dont have to play but u can still talk to them hear the effects as if you are in the game.just an idea i have been thinking aboout.

Idea for daily gift:  choosing what will be more likely to occur.


We should be able to choose what is more likely to occur for daily bonuses.  Accessed in the settings menu, there should be a button called "Daily Bonus Options".  When you click the button, a table of possible supplies should appear.

Here is how it works:  You have 8 points.  You can divide them evenly among all of the supplies, so all of them have a fair probability.  Or, you can choose what you want to occur more often.  Anything that doesn't have points would still have a chance of occurring.  Supplies that have points would be just more likely to appear than usual, which means if you put 5 points on crystals, it would still be UNLIKELY to get crystals as a daily bonus.  It would just be more likely to appear than it usually is.  Common supplies, such as N2O and mines, would have a very high chance of occurring if you put 5 points on one of them, because they often occur anyways.  Obviously, the more points a supply has, the more likely it will be to occur (than it usually does).

Example:     (O = 1 Point)

Health-Pack:     - - - - -
Double-Power:   - - - - -
Double-Armor:   O - - - -
N2O:                OOOO -
Mines:              OO - - -                          <---- N2O and Mines are more likely to occur.  It could be all N2O for a daily bonus, or mostly N2O, but also mines.  Or even something I                                                                        never even put 
NS Pass:          O - - - -                                 points on.  Don't forget, the possibility of the NS pass and double armor was also increased too, they have 1 point each in this example.                                                                  Everything else
DCC:                 - - - - -                                  with 0 points, is still possible to occur.  Their possibility wasn't increased, but still exists.
Crystals:            - - - - -


If this was my settings, N2O and Mines would be more likely to occur.  Remember, they are already likely to occur, so don't think you can put 5 points on crystals, and expect to get crystals as a daily bonus.  In other words, adding points to a supply would increase the possibility by a fraction of the normal possibility.

Melee weapons on the tanks. If you both ram into each other's melee the person going at the most speed will take most damage. If you hit their side you don't take damage but they do :).

Melee weapons should be on hulls and should become stronger if you get m1, m2, or m3 on that hull.

 

I'd also like night battles with headlights. Headlights can be toggled on/off with they key h.

 

Also I'd like to see enemy health bars.

nice but i was thinking more in the line of having some sort of shockwave that explodes from the center of your tank travels about 24-30 meters in all directions and the damage increases as u rank like for sergeants it wud be about 90-140 from the center of it to about 35-50 and for generalissimos it wud be about 190-230 from the center of it to about 60-80 to the outer edge of the shockwave and it wud cost about 100 crystals in the garage. Also with the double power supply it wud increase damage by 75%.

We need a Turret in tanki where a massive amount of damage can be outputted in a short amount of time, but have like different shots... and takes longer than a railgun to reload.... Also we should have a hull that is real fast to turn like traverse speed but not as fast as wasp... Alot better maneuverability too with nitro and new physics...

How about setting own tank controls, so you can change it from the default wasd, zxc and etc. to something you like, I mean I know some mac users say that some of their buttons don't work cause it uses a different keyboard and such.

A new hull idea. Imagine a hull the size and strength of mammoth with a docking platform in/on the back that either a wasp or hornet can mount into and let the mammoth drive whilst you either heal with isida or take out the enemy brining up the rear? Would make some battles more interesting for sure. Mammoth with firebird on the back to 'unfreeze' the mammoth whilst trying to capture the flag and enemy freezes do their thing. Hornet piggybacking on the mammoth going for the flag only to dismount whilst in the enemies base and run off with the flag whilst the mammoth keeps the enemy busy.

Headlights are already planned. I don't think they'll let you see health bars because then people like Railgun users can just kill-steal. Melee weapons as add-ons right? Not primary weapons? Though it'd be weird...

 

These idea and suggestion should be kept separately not a topic made by a admin !!!   We should able too post topic and other replay ... becoz we cant see others idea and vote for them ... 

If these ideas were all in separate topics then the forums would be flooded.

About viking, I think viking M3 is too slow. You pay a lot for only 20 hp and 0,5 more speed, barrely noticable you bought it M3 when playing.

I think they should make viking's speed like 7 and hp 250, and maybe dictator M3 260 hp because its too close else.

Maybe when you press key: "*" you then can lock on the a tank and a red little arrow will follow him all the time until you lock on someone else

If you get banned, the moderators should drop a PM to us telling us the exact reason as to why we got banned along with the post that got them banned. I got banned just now and I have absolutely no clue as to why.

It won't happen. Moderators ban hundreds of players every day, there's no way they can open forum and PM every single person they banned with 'Dear player, you were banned today at 15:43:22 for ... point ... ... next time don't do it etc.'

This will just waste their time and that way offenders in chat/battle will be even more since while mods are talking to people they banned, other players will break rules. That's why this hasn't been done in those 4 years of Tanki existance.

 

Plus, the exact reason is always written in chat while you're banned - when you type something you'll see 'you're disconnected from the chat ... reason: ...'. If you were banned for something in forum, the offensive post will show the ban duration and the reason.

All your bans are logged and they always include proof for the ban. If you want to see for what exactly you got banned (example you got banned for insulting, but you don't remember and want to know who exactly you insulted) - you're free to PM the chat admin , a chat mod or even me.

And that is no excuse, either. Minecraft forum for example, uses ip. board just like here, they have millions of users. Yet they managed to send you a pm whenever you broke the rules. What does this tells you is, the notification process can be fully automated.

Players should be able to create discussions on the forum so the idea can be perfected and have player and community support before it is submitted here or on feedback. Why just go with only one persons single idea when you can have an even better one with the help of fellow players. Regardless of the quality of the original idea, it shouldn't be batted down so quickly.

Noone's fault you got banned by a Russian mod. If it's in Russian, just use Google translate or ask the chat admin/someone else to translate it.

 

Yet they managed to send you a pm whenever you broke the rules. What does this tells you is, the notification process can be fully automated.

Here bans aren't done in forum, but in chat. Also not just for forum violations, but for chat too. Let's say that's not a problem though. But the thing is players here don't want just the reason, but also the proof for the ban - which you can get only by PMing the chat admin or a chat mod.
