Well that would tend to explain a lot then and why it seems so useless, and I'm not being annoying to the moderators.  The mods are great people doing a lot of work and helping everyone out in the community, my hats off to them for their efforts.  What's incredibly stupid would be to require the moderators to sit around for twice as long as we're required to provide video evidence though in order to ban someone for a day for just being idle... yeah, that's incredibly more stupid than sitting in a battle for 5 minutes recording a tank doing nothing.  Sort of sad there isn't it?  It also wouldn't be my first choice of a task to perform either with all the other messages I'm sure they're receiving about people being annoying that are more readily actionable on, such as language, etc... they can quickly deal with.  So that takes the /vote and moderator option off the table as a way to resolve mults just taking over one side to idle it out and win.... annoying.

Well for me it's mostly the mults that groups use to jump in, idle out more and more tanks on one side until 1/2 of your team is just tanks sitting there doing nothing.  Then they can grab the bulk of the battle fund at the end so they can afford to run around on supplies all the time after picking up 2,3,5K per game all the time.  /vote doesn't do anything at all it seems, never had a mod come in and look after months of using it and taking 5 minutes in the middle of a game to video someone not moving? yeah... that only helps them since you're taking yet another tank out of the battle on your side.

Well, Most Of The Time, The 'Your Report Has Been Sent' message sometimes scares the rule breaker, so he stops or leaves battle..

 

 

And They Have To Make Sure The Reports are Valid, Because, Ive seen countless times low rankers group report someone for using excessive drugs, or having an extremely good combo from buying kits.

As far as I know, there isn't a single way of telling who is 16+ and who isn't. And if there was an option for age at the registration part of the game, "Kids" would lie about their age and get in regardless of the age limit or restriction (whatever you choose to call it.) Does that make sense? I agree with the main post but I will stay a while longer. 

Then it is the fault of those 'Kids'. Their insecurity will be blamed on their own actions.

Tanki does have problems. Every game has problems. There can never be a perfect game. But the developers are trying to improve the game day-by-day. Focus on the positive points. Hackers are not as abundant as I heard they once were. The developers are thinking of new systems to prevent chat violations. As for the garage items being too expensive as someone said, it's way better than some other games where there are two currencies and only real money can be used to buy one of them. Everybody has an equal chance. True, it's easier for buyers, but how do you expect a game to run without money?

I love the game, too. 

I can hardly wait for the new drugging system applied, too. I rarely use supplies, and I hate the drug wars.

 

On the other hand the new kit structure seems to be at least strange. I am a kit buyer (or rather I used to be), however why the hell shall I buy a kit if I can buy some part of the kit earlier. 

Thanks Tanki for taking away the motivation to buy crystals. That will save me money.

(I have to admit that I have no enough information about the new system, so I might be wrong.)

Some thoughts and advices from a free player :

I think you can't have fun while fighting against more powerful modifications of equipments. The fun at low ranks comes from how many crys you can earn a day. Or from the winning team if you know how to read the progress of the battle.

 

Best way to earn crys or 5k for Pro pass is fire wasp DM 2 players Pro battles on server 2. M1 combo still earn big crys for generalissimo, best at x2 funds, minimum rank is at wo5 if gs create that battle. 30 mins and you have 1k. Another way is XP for M3 XP players, if you have a little skill.

 

Until you possess your first M3 combo, except in case of playing with friends, you should not be loyal to your team, this is not a clan. Switch team immediately when a takeover is happening or the top player of your team is switching. Or 10 battles, each battle collect 10 blue boxes, can earn you 1k quickly. This is happening everyday.

 

Learn to dictate the trend of the battle from the score board before joining. Guess who are taking over the battle, guess who will lose, and who will win. Each time you lose, you will learn better how to guess.

 

Learn where traps are. XP with 50 flags for example is a trap for naive XP players, stadiums or slience CTFs with 50-0 are traps too, 299 mins battle is also a trap for druggers but its not at less than 30 mins.

I have two accounts, my other one a Colonel and I've spent a considerable amount of money on it (hundreds of dollars). I've come to the conclusion that Tanki isn't as much fun any more. The game is sliding downhill with no end in sight.  Yes it has incredible graphics, physics, etc...but a significant number of people are ruining the game play. A few examples... 

 

1. Individual sabotage - it's almost impossible to police.  Even if it's reported, and even if Tanki's staff has the time to investigate, by then that specific game has been ruined and that player is long gone. I've had it happen to me many times. Tankers who find it funny to block and push teammates - some of them leaving maps and rejoining the opposing team for the sole purpose of sabotage.
2. Group sabotage - even worse is when you've spent hours and significant supplies on a lengthy battle only to have some i-d-i-o-t group of tankers simultaneously join a game in progress with the sole purpose of taking over the game - particularly one in which most of the opposing team has left because they were not doing well.  They're typically high ranked tankers with substantial tanks and seemingly unlimited supplies. It happened again not 10 minutes ago while on my other account. They don't always achieve their goal, but more often than not they completely ruin the game. Unfortunately there's no way to stop it.
3. Arbitrary restrictions - being banned for profanity or insults that seem somewhat arbitrarily selected and almost impossible to adequately police. Tanki's technology isn't good enough to police language. Tankers know they can add a character or two to any words or phrase to defeat Tanki's system (I just did it in point #2, that's how simple and arbitrary it is). And only a relatively small fraction of /vote reported incidents are ever investigated. 

I'm not spending another cent on the game. At least if I play it for free I don't feel as if I've thrown money out the window so a bunch of imbeciles can get their kicks trolling the game.  Such a shame.

I would like to give my opinion on this.

 

1) Sabotage is going to happen in every game you play whether it's tanki, blackops, WOW  etc etc it's part of multiplayer gaming and it's something that has been happening on every game. If they are on your team and blocking you, simply ask them to stop please. If they don't stop then use the report function or record the violation taking place and moderators/admin can deal with the violator. If they join the other team then try your best to kill them and show them you're here to play and not to mess around. If all else fails, join a different game and be the bigger person.

 

2)I wouldn't call this group sabotage but it can seem unfair however it's part of the game and has been for a long time and some people will go on the opposite team (including myself) just for a challenge and for the XP (not everyone plays for crystals). You'll find a lot of high rankers are only after experience points and that drugging in big games is a method they use to achieve quicker results and level faster. 

 

3)I do feel tanki needs a better moderation system in place and a better filter of words but this takes time and I believe in time tanki will implement a better report system to deal with rule breakers. 

 

 

All I can say dude is of course there will be frustration and negative things in tanki but you've got to remember all the good positive things which keeps you coming back and well I feel tanki will start moderating the game more and it will become more positive

I fought through 1 and half year to generalismo rank, so dont expect half year and getting M3,

 

it takes your practice and patient to rank yourself up, if you have not been through the big hacking old time, hackers are much worse than druggers,

 

and old generalismos all went through the tough low rank period, it is your choice to treat it as a easy time killing game, or a daily task.

 

so learn through playing, every rank you will meet some players stronger than you, even after generalismo ranks, no battle is easy battle.

 

either enjoy the excitement of hard intense battle, or try other easy games. B)

even after you reach generalismos and get several M3 combos, the Truth is everyone is with M4 combo already (fully MU-ed M3),

 

which takes nearly another year after generalismo to earn enough free crystal to get one set of M4 combo + one mu-ed top paint.

 

fighting M3 against M4 in micro upgrade enable battles is like fighting with M2 against M3. ;)
