Sort battles by rank - (better gaming experience / game balance?)

Hi Mods, Devs and fellow Players,

 

Please take this suggestion into consideration, its a lot of text but please bear with me :)

 

When choosing which battles i enter, i usually have to look for the battles where i am nearer to the max rank for that battle (eg. WO3/4), and usually avoid battles where i would be overpowered by higher ranks (eg. lieutenant colonel etc.) with amazing weapons i would fail to compete against

What would make my gameplay experience much smoother and enjoyable, would be to have a feature where i can either sort or filter battles by rank using a slider, drop down menu or whatever you think is best eg.

If i were a WO2 i could choose WO3 for a challenge, but in general players would want to choose a battle in which their rank is the highest, so the majority of players in a battle would probably be the same rank.

 

in my opinion this feature will balance the battles much better, because the players would be fighting against the same level of skill and weaponry as themselves.

 

Of course this feature could be optional, with the capability to sort or turn off the sorting and play how it always was...

 

Maybe this feature could be tested for a couple days on test server, then a couple days publicly to see how well it would work, then gather player opinions with a poll of some sorts to see if it helped their gaming experience in any way...

 

Anyway this pretty much sums up my idea, sorry for writing so much - i tend to talk a lot when trying to explain things just so people can have a better understaning of my thoughts :) Thank you for taking time to read this, any feedback on whether or not this would be possible, or if its too much work or anything would be greatly appreciated!

i play in high-ranks battles anyway( like major or generalisimo) so i dont know what to say. low ranks are like NOOBS but anyway. nice idea

exactly, so you can make use of this feature too, to sort the battles from high rank battles at the top, 'noob' ranked battles nearer the bottom.

 

it would just make your life easier to be able to straight away choose higher ranks, rather than flick through all the battles looking for a suitably ranked battle to join
