Mult right now in game and I'm at ready to quit tanki

Recommended Posts

Ok, so I am in this game right now.

It was 98-0 and it is currently 98-18

http://tankionline.com/battle-en4.html#/battle/fffffffc55fc4b35

here is the game

there is one guy,

leshikok1

who is red but is helping blue

he pushes us off at the top in silence and he is holding the flag so we can't capture it

/vote does nothing

I have pm'd ostrica (the only person I see from tanki online) and I am told to use /vote

I have am recording the video which I will post so everyone can see mults win this game and nobody cares about the english community.

there is still time to enter and sort this out.

Now don't shut this topic down. I want meaningful discussion once I'm out the game of why tanki fails the english community when it comes to /vote.

Here is a shortened down video

The mods are trying there best they are working 24/7....

Not in the english community they're not.

currently 98-28 and leshikok1 is holding the flag at the blue base still and not allowing us to get it. The enemy don't kill him. He relinquishes it when the blue side are ready to capture.

still time tanki!

How annoying! Especially because I have personally never seen the /vote option have any effect.

Severe punishment is needed for these kind of people. I feel Tanki does not address these problems enough, altough they say they do.

So how did the battle end?

we eventually won 100-40 but I ran out of disk space at 98-10. I still have enough to ban leshikok1 though, but It will take me several hours to render and post to violators so he can get a 1 day ban.  Ooh, I hear you all say, that will teach him.

remember vlog5?

"June in numbers. 40,000 battles reviewed. 460 cheaters (compared to 42 in May). 5,000 saboteurs disciplined."

I can only imagine that this is in the russian community. I play practically every day and only once have I seen a green text in game chat saying someone was removed from the server. Once! I was so surprised I took a screenshot.

"Analysis of complaints has been completed by the moderator" - Not translated very well into English!

/vote does not work where I am and I'd hope someone to tell me why it fails us.

I started my video with a /vote at 19:50 local time. He was still there over an hour later.

I don't want excuses tanki, I want real reasons.

Thanks,

The video I have does not comply with the violators rules because it is too long so I will shorten it tonight. It will take lots of time and effort to do so. Is a one day ban sufficient? Tanki need to ban this guy permanently.

I have clear video of blues not firing on the red who was helping them.

Will these players also get a ban? They are helping a player break the rules by not shooting at him and are facilitating sabotage. They made a clear arrangement not to fight the red mult with the purpose of gaining xp and crystals.  I fully expect everyone of them to get a ban. Can somebody confirm that this will happen if I submit the footage?

Btw, I originally posted this to General Forum so that it would have discussion and somebody buried it to problems and solutions. I want discussion. Please can you move it back?

video (longer version) will be live at around 9:30 UTC time 10:30 GMT (it takes an age to upload and process).

Is one day ban for the saboteur and his friends really sufficient for all this effort?

If only a moderator would have come to the rescue when every single player on red used /vote.

I have proposed solutions to make team kick viable with no feedback at all from tanki. Where is Semyon Kirov? Is anybody at tanki interested? Devs? I implore you to discuss this. Silence is very disrespectful.

You are right, I have seen report button works only once. A mod came to the battle and asked me what was the complaint and he/she was Russian :/. It was XP and 5 of my friends reported him. But when he saw "Your report has been sent" notification, he left the battle. Why do violators see that notification D:

You bring up another interesting side to this. You are going to spent a large amount of time preparing all this evidence. Basically doing the job of the "/vote" command for Tanki online. Will you even get a thank-you for reporting a mult? I agree they need to figure out a better way.  " /vote" does not work with the low number of staff members to monitor it.

They only time a mod came to a battle was when I was in a battle with my bud. And no one reported anything.... we were parkouring! Even though he or she gave me tips that freaked me out, because I was quite bewildered by the yellow text, and I am thankful for it, I bet you there were other battles where people actually needed help with a violator.

Oh and today my friends and I were having a good time when some /voted us. My friend was kicked but he just rejoined. It was for foul play he said.  But the only bad thing that occurred was my friends was using some not too kind words but yet not swears. That is nothing when mults like these could be wrecking someone's day.

Him being on the same team is worse than if he was on the opposite team. The enemy won't kill him and his own team can't. So he effectively becomes a permanent barrier.  If told you to use /vote then why didn't go to that battle to respond to the /vote command?

The only way they will stop is if there is a greater risk. A 1 day ban is nothing. It is not really worth all the effort required to report it in the violators section, if all these people get is a slap on the wrist.

Here's my idea.

  • 1st offence = 1 week ban
  • 2nd offence = 1 month ban
  • 3rd offence = deletion of account

In real life they would be shot for treason.

That is bad when your own team mate act like that they need to ban the account and close it forever so no one else can use  it.

Whats happen to Tanki  I only been here 9-10 months in the first few months it was great I love it here but now it  feels more frustrating

to play this game .

So much that I don't play every day like I use too and that alone is sad because it people like that is going to cause this game to fold .

I mean to go out of business as paying player will stop on all site of tanki and that sad too .

Please stop this people from destroying the game we all come to love .

I say if they cant play fair then BAN them for a few weeks in game play not chat

I have put a shortened version of the video I am submitting to the violators section on my first post.

Can anyone tell me if the blues, who have come to an arrangement not to kill the red violator, are breaking any rules?

"1.7 achieving experience points by deliberate inaction or help from the other team's players in 'Capture the Flag' or 'Control Points' or 'Team Deathmatch' mode or from opponents in 'Deathmatch' mode (so-called power-leveling);"

"1.15 making arrangements with other Players to fight 'half-heartedly' with the purpose of power-leveling. Should such battles be discovered, both Players will be punished;"

Why is there no specific rule;

Aiding saboteurs from the enemy side, by deliberate inaction, in order to gain an advantage.

We all know that MM061, vovaroom, pohos, andrey325, 345yra543, megadana, serega69, pypkinsashamail.ru, etc... were gaining an advantage unfairly so why should they get away with it?

This is not the place for such a topic. Please post in Game Violators and make sure it follows all the rules.

Thanks,

Let's look at it statistically. There are essentially 14 moderators who's job it is to check battles and have full powers in chat. There are 50 servers you can play one. Generally, there are about 3k people on servers 1-4. There are different levels of people on other servers. Say there are 60 games per server, average. That's 3000 games to moderate. With 14 chat moderators, that's a ton of work. I say this with full sincerity, the chat moderators are working there hardest to keep battles clean and safe for you all, while at the same time maintaining order in the lobbies. That's an extremely difficulty job for them. Instead of expecting a chat moderator to come, take a video as you have done and post it in Game Violators. Consider having a chat mod come and help you a bonus for taking the time to do something. Everyone must pitch in to help keep this game a fun and friendly environment.

There is nothing wrong with that grammar as far as I can see ;)

Reporting a mult or hacker is doing the right thing. How many people in life get paid to do the right thing, such as holding a door for an elderly lady or helping your neighbor take out the trash. Doing what's right is a reward in itself.

Moderators sometimes scan battles that seem to be suspicious if they feel a crime might be in the process of happening. Someone else may have reported the game, you never know.

If a moderator comes in reply to a /vote command and executes actions, there will be a green text line that states that a moderator had come. If you see a chat violation, make sure to take a full unedited screen and post it in Chat Violators.

Him being on the same team is worse than if he was on the opposite team. The enemy won't kill him and his own team can't. So he effectively becomes a permanent barrier.  If told you to use /vote then why didn't go to that battle to respond to the /vote command?

Not all mults/sabotagers are blatant bad guys. Some of them are just guys who don't chat and don't read rules. They get an lol out of bumping a shaft off the edge of silence and such. They don't know that they're doing something that could get the blocked from the game. They're just having a good laugh. So that's at least one reason why sabotage/multing rules most be made carefully and used even more carefully.

That is bad when your own team mate act like that they need to ban the account and close it forever so no one else can use  it.

I've said it already but I'll sum it up again. Moderators can't be everywhere, so it's your job to take the time to help clean up the game and take a video and report the guy. If you aren't willing to do so, then you shouldn't expect a moderator to do it for you.

i also have the same experience /vote doesnt works. they ll say if u use /vote mods ll come for rescue but no one ll come.

Above ;)

2.1.8. Any acts or omissions aimed at creating obstructions for the team where the User is a member, including in CTF, TDM and CP modes, fighting against the team of which you are a member, doing harm to/ destruction of an ally's tank, fighting in interests of the opponent’s team, as well as the conspiracy with the enemy, sabotage;

Sums it all up with English that would make a lawyer love you.

/vote command never works. I have tried it 1000 times.. You will get a message stating that your complaint has been sent successfully and then nothing else happens.. Violators keep on violating.. :)

Above once again.

With all this in mind, please follow the rules and help all of us moderators by doing your share in keeping the game clean!
