It would be nice if tournament organizers could be able to stream their tournaments so that the others can watch.

So my idea is create a special mode like the cs commentators have for players to use....1 visitor allowed in the battle max

not sure why they removed this from development plans

Organizers have streams, done with Russian cameramen and our English commentators. They do their best to bring you the most exciting battles.

 

This would be hard to pull off, as it would have to be totally different from the current spectator; it shows all the tanks health. If everyone could spectate a Cybersport event with that capability, then that would give an unnecessary advantage. It would also overload the map; imagine 500 spectators for just a 6 vs 6. So I think it was removed from the development plans because the current game can't handle it.

 

1 regular player viewer? that wouldn't be necessary or fair for everyone else.

If you take account of the disclaimer that all tournament makers must post, it states, "Tournament organizers have nothing to do with the administration". In addition to the aforementioned, the administration provides Spectator mode to the Commentators as they are an official part of the Tanki Online staff.

This is a really bad idea. It would be abused. As mentioned by it would be an unfair advantage. Because the "spectator" would just go on skype and tell his friends where everyone is.

Maybe not, but seeing as skype comes on just about anything. It wouldn't be that hard.

It is simple in game sometimes I want to join the match in which I am interested to play but most of the times. Some other player comes and click on "play" option before I can.

 

So to your question the answer is why there is a player limit of the players playing at sandbox?

 

In sandbox it can be 24 vs 24. What is the point of player limit set to be just 8?

 

Anyways the suggestion was made so that the tournament organisers can spectate and I guess the tournament committee would consist of maximum 5 members. They don't need 1000 spectators there just to see that the battle is going good and fair :P

 

And if you really want to spectate then be the first one to click on like other players click on "play" to get in there favourite match or favourite side :D

no limit it to 1 player can spectate and they must be invited by a friend or for private battles if you have the link you can spectate

that has nothing to do with it...i am saying so the un offical tournaments can be broadcasted

I think they should make a mode so that you can film the battle and then you can watch it or press delete or save so you can't give away info during the battle but you can see it if you want to watch a rank up orsomething.
