And don't give me the line about extra PC's, you could use skype right on the same machine your "spectating with. This sounds like your trying to get tanki to include a way for people to cheat even more then they already do.

no limit it to 1 player can spectate and they must be invited by a friend or for private battles if you have the link you can spectate

 

that has nothing to do with it...i am saying so the un offical tournaments can be broadcasted

 

actually i said the same thing as you said but tried to explain server load in the terms of members playing. so that he could understand why is there number of limit has to be set for spectator mode and yeah 1 spectator would also be great. good idea

Well people cheat for each other all the time, I'm no cheater. And this is not about me.

I totally agree with canada as in player made tournaments you can't actually watch the match properly and usually there are a few trouble makers and they lie so it would help us organizers alot...

Well, such an option would drive the players to the black side. They would search for good battles, and use their alternate account to view the battle in spectator mode. Ergo,this would be termed has "Foul-play".This could be the main reason why such an intelligent plan was listed out from plans.

Well, what if a player's having two alternate accounts of the same or his/her alternate account be one rank below or above the limit and can play, then he could view the battle in spectator mode. But if this mode is to implemented, I would suggest that the health of player  be hidden. :)

This is a really bad idea. It would be abused. As mentioned by it would be an unfair advantage. Because the "spectator" would just go on skype and tell his friends where everyone is.

anyways it could always be limited to 1 viewer or 2....and not being able to see the health bar's...just the names

I think it would be useful to have a "spectate" feature in the game. Imagine you are a clan leader/co-leader, and you have someone testing out a player for your clan, you can watch the battle to see how they, match up, so there is no "accidental" fire. This would greatly help out clans tanki wide.

...it should mainly be used to stream tournaments that players make so they get more popular :mellow:

This is exactly why they do not have the facility and I hope that they keep it that way.  Clans already have huge advantage over other lay members when playing normal games.  Imagine how this spy feature could be used against any opposition, their would be no hiding, the flag could never be hidden, the lone sniper would be sniffed out,  and so on.  Perhaps in a competitive game, with absolutely no way of contacting the playing combatants, but absolutly not in every day games.

Exactly, however changing the spot would be pointless with a spy camera.  Communication is still practically and as it should be in my view, an undeveloped art in many games.  Perhaps at lofty ranks and members who descend to clans use it all of the time, I really would not know.

HEY Guys there can be a restriction who can watch and who can not watch like in tournament so organizers will know whos breaking the rules
