Offline mode

Recommended Posts

It is not my idea it is my brothers but since he has not making a topic about it, i figured i would do it for him. Ok, so there should be a downloadable offline version of tanki online similar to the tutorial of tanki. Basically, you can select what map you want to play in, how many bots (or tanks i should say) you want on each team, and the games specifics eg: CTF/CP/DM/Time etc... You also have to get certain achievements to get a new hull. Achievements would be something like get 100 kills and things like that. It would be nice if i could get a response soon :) CREDIT TO MY BROTHER FOR THE OFFLINE IDEA. CREDIT TO ME FOR THINKING OF THE IN-GAME FEATURES AND THE GAME PLAY.

I don't think that they actually did it. Besides, im not talking about testing the turrets and hulls. I think i know what you mean though :)

I am kind of agree with you. They should involve tanki online singleplayer mode, where you fight against computer like on tutorial, to practise your skills.

This is an amazing idea that is worthy of being considered. Or something like you start off with an M0 combo, and for every 10 kills you get, you go to the next tier (M1, then M2, then M3). But like he said, there should be a downloadable application for phones where you can verse bots and get rewards.

Another thing, there should be achievements in TO. Ex: KILL 50 DICTATORS Reward: 3000 crystals and 200 XP

As usual, all (good) ideas should be put in the "ideas and suggestions" topic which some mod will probably come and tell us.

Good idea.

This idea would contradict Tanki's ideals as a "Massive Multiplayer Online Game with only REAL PLAYERS".

He didn't talk about the Online Game itself but a Downloadable Version. TanksTestingTool doesn't have real players, but it does exist because the "Only real players" is about the Online Game.

This would not contradict it. Even if it did, what would it matter? The main idea is to make sure people have fun so why not?

If I'm not wrong, the developers have planned a mobile version.

When they mean a mobile version, it is the same as the game and it will be online. Not like what i was talking about. And your not mistaken.

I don't tanki will ever do that. If there was an offline mode, the tankers will soon start stop playing because of boredom. In addition to it is the matter of revenue

^If your Internet goes off, you'll still be able to have some fun in Tanki. Boredom has little effect to do with it.  Playing with real people is better than bots, but if you have no other option or are tired of irritants, you can go there.
