Water Maps, Amphibious Hulls, Aqua Paint, Torpedo-Turrets

Wouldn't it be awesome to have pools of water, rivers, lakes, on maps like kungur & serpuhov. If a tank drives into water it slowly loses health until it drives out. Players would have the option to buy amphibious floating hulls or submersible (waterproof) hulls with water-to-land torpedo turrets and periscope-view, water-repelling paint (aqua) for standard hulls so they can survive hidden under the water to surprise attack an amphibious tank...

 

 

...anyone find this of interest?

Yeap, it's very interesting and I 'm sure TO Developers are looking forward the day they can enrich TO with water surfice effect and aquatic maps.

Hulls etc are then the easy part.. but first, they have to solve the problem of extremely many calculations an aquatic surfice requires... and how to complete all these calculations in milisecs..

yes so I have use for this lifeless marine paint in my garage that I never realy use I cant wait for water maps like a map where there are only islands so i can hide in the water

but the damage under the water will not be the same and fire bird and freeze and thunder cant work there  i thing isida will do more damage under the water and we must add MU fore the tank speed on the water  this will be awesome

I am just as excited as you are about this idea. Even better, it will become a plausible option when the Unity version of Tanki Online comes out. No one knows how the developers plan on having the tanks react to the water, should it ever be integrated, though I imagine we are all anticipating something great!

Exactly, however I am not sure about the damaging part of the idea.  I think water should just be there so you can go through it and it might slow you down a bit.  I don't think the amphibious hulls are a great idea either.  I don't know.  Anyways, I am interested to see if this idea works out.  Nice job!

that would be awesome ! Good idea !

But what about maps with a lot of water where u can go really deep in water,and a little sand beach on top of the map.

Once in water, u cannot fly but, if u jump over a underwater building or other, u fall slower than normally.

these sort of maps with water will be available depending on the rank (and, or) M3,M2,M1, tank.

Example:

 

M1 Tank:   u can go into non deep water (because tank is not really futurist and hasn't got speed, power 

or anything to go in deep water). So the maps with a lot of water will be unavailable for small ranks or less than M2 tanks

 

M2:    will go deeper faster ect, maps with deeper water will be available 

 

M3: with its futuristic style can go on ground and really deep in water, and it will better to drive into water than M2 tank.

 

 

       There will be deferent physics between water and earth.

 

 

 

For the tanks and turrets plus MU:

 

Maybe we should keep the actual tanks and turrets, and put new abilities that we could micro update, for when the tank is in contact with water.

 

Example:  

When tank is in contact with water : 1- It slows down a bit. So we need a special ability against it that we could MU. Of cours if the non deep water idea becomes reality, and not the deep water ones, it will still be ok, because if u go into water u will be slowed,.

 

When turret gets in contact with water : less damage or anything else that gets less pawer

 

and in the same time an anther ability will be increased.
