Tanki in team modes I think you should change our mines to a different color or shade of that team color, like in DM, opponents have lime green mines and we have green mines. Maybe our mines in TDM,CP and CTF should be either orange for red team, and sky blue for blue or just make our mines black or white. The reason im saying this is cause I like to use mines an dwhen my team mines the entire base I can't  tell how many mines I put down and where they are. Please take this idea into suggestion. Or if you don't wanna change the color simply put an indicator over our mines, like say an arrow, or your name over the mine. :) ;) :rolleyes: :D

It is already set up in the manner you are referring to. The blue team has blue mines and the red team has red mines. If there is an issue of clarity as to what you are trying to suggest, please do explain it to me. :)

@MarineMan2: He's saying that he wants a way to distinguish his Mine from his teammate's Mines.

Read this excerpt from his Post: "The reason im saying this is cause I like to use mines an dwhen my team mines the entire base I can't  tell how many mines I put down and where they are."

I for one don't think we need one. It's pretty easy to remember where you put your Mines. . .

most people have trouble remembering where they put the mines,and teammates usually put mines next to yours to get kills from u. I think the idea should be taken into consideration. U must have great memory in order to tell where your mines are, which is pretty impressive.

@Arun:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
How do you know that MOST people have trouble remembering? Just curious. Lol.
2. teammates usually put mines next to yours to get kills from u.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Really? And how do you know that? Just curious.

It could be the fact that the place where the Mine was put is a very good chokepoint, ramp, or a good spot guarding the flag where enemies cross, since that is where Mines are usually used, so it wouldn't be uncommon for multiple teammates to lay Mines there.

Thus,  it doesn't necessarily have to be stealing kills from you, but helping to guard the flag, and benefitting the team as a whole.

After all, I'm sure you know, it takes more than 1-2 Mines to stop a full-fledged Drugger. Haha.

So personally, I wouldn't take it as an offensive gesture, but as a helping hand to the team.

I know you said "usually," but the word Usually means "under normal conditions; generally."

Synonyms: Normally, Generally, Habitually, Routinely, Typically, Commonly

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
But may I ask something? Why do you need to be able to see where your Mines are anyway?
Although in my opinion Mines you lay are easily able to be spotted, this does not seem to be the case for you.
The reason I ask this is because once you lay a Mine, you can't move it to another spot anyway. Lol.
So it's basically just laying a trap, and waiting. If you kill someone, it'll be listed on the list, and you'll be able to see.
Not to mention the fact that even if it didn't kill someone, Mines already leave a mark, and for me, I can already tell where my Mine was, and in my opinion it does not take great memory, or even much memory at all.
Ok I get what your saying... but I like to put my mines in certain spots in order for druggers to flip and all and if a teamate puts a mine next to mine then thats waste since from what I have experienced... everytime I drive over a set of mines at most of them explode since mines don't have sensors and damage any random opponent. What im saying is I examine my enemies before making my move so I don't like it when some mult ruins that. Also your teams mines don't disappear like how the opposite teams does thats why im suggesting this.
Arun why would you care if someone puts a mine next to yours and steal your kill. The main reasons of mines are protecting your base and killin chasers. I think that idea is useless  .
Wow u people don't know how to read... evolve and we'll talk kk. Also in DM u only score from killing so if someone steals your kill how do you feel, well its the same thing with mines and also I didn't only talk about people placing their mines next to mine... I also said people might lose track of where their mines are and how many mines they laid out... I for one focus on staying out of my enemies sights so I don't get killed and with all the running I can't keep track of hiding, keeping up in the scoreboard and helping my teammates.
It will be usefull if you and a friend are defending a spot in a map by laying a huge amount of mines,you can spread them out well and you'll know where he put his and you put yours.... :lol:
Also cool for making drawings xd
You could split the mine's texture in half and make half of it the team color and half the color of your tank.
Or, maybe, just have a small letter over it only visible to the player who dropped it.
Yes that is true. My main weapon choice is Freeze. Freeze is perfect for defense but once it runs out of energy and recharges then it becomes vulnerable. Considering now how often mines are used and the new update for the faster recharge of mines.
