cramped...good lord cramped isnt even the word for it i feel like i got arthritus in my hands and im only 16! 

 

pushing the space bar especally with machine gun (i dont call em by native names lol) try holding that for an hour in a awwquard position

Lol i totally agree, thats why i dislike laptop keyboards, the keys are too flat... IMO i would get the MSI GT Titan with the two 980M's but that thing is $4,000!!! It does however have a mechanical keyboard with brown cherry mx keys.

 

Or just get an Alienware....

Tanki Online should really implement programmable keys. Its inconvenient to use the default presets.

Because the keyboards on HP laptops are membrane and suck for gaming... they only respond to 2 keys being pressed at once and the trackpad and keyboard cannot be used simultaneously. My dad has a thing for HP...

like the ability to change movement keys from WASD to IJKL or Numpad 8 Numpad 4 Numpad 6 Numpad 2 and .etc

Hello tankers.

 

Current controls for controlling tank are W, A, S and D or arrow keys ↑, ↓, → and ← for driving your tank, X, C and Z for rotating your turret, space bar for shooting, 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 for activating your supplies, tab for scoreboard, - And = for zooming in or out, Q and E for rotating camera up and down. There are other keys like chat and switching between team chat and all chat but you can find those in Tanki wiki (I will leave a link to it below).

 

 

Not all keyboards are same and because of that it would be great if we could change each key separately to any other key. For example, I would very much like to use Q, W and E for rotating turret. I believe that could improve gaming.

Ahh.. you know.. I hate our controls so much I used Xpadder to map keys for my DualShock4. This game is so much better with good gamepad.

 

We will eventually add this feature. Keys remapping is a must for a good game. And a gamepad support is also will be introduced. We are already working on key mapping for gamepads.

The reason why I came up with this idea is because my new computer has really small arrow keys.  Because of I am used to bigger arrow keys, my fingers sometimes slip causing me to move in the direction I don't want to.

Twice today I tried to drop a mine, and instead dropped a gold box.

 

In terms of actual money, a mine costs 1/5 of a penny. A gold box is a dollar. So accidentally dropping a gold box is like accidentally dropping 500 mines down the toilet. On top of that, a noob red almost capped our flag because of it.

 

That's two bucks I pissed away today.

 

You might as well just have the key next to that be for buying $20 worth of crystals, that way I could accidentally hit that one, too.

 

Please, could you put the $1 key somewhere else. Like 7, 8, 9 or 0?

I have a problem like that. For my keyboard, I discovered I could use WASD plus <>? plus the spacebar at once, but when I use arrows it locks down the whole keyboard.

It might suck to relearn how to play, but if WASD works for you it's worth it in my opinion.
