Tanki I think you should make the team chat only visible to your team. Like say your planning a sneak attack or telling someone with flag where to go... Your enemy can see and read what you and your team are planning. They will be one step ahead of you and will waste your effort. Please make team chat only visible to that team.

There already is team chat. FACEPALM.  Instead of pressing Enter to open chat you press "t".

then your either seeing things, or your in a deathmatch. if you press T only your team can see that chat. no one else. the only exception is if your in a deathmatch, where there is no team chat. Edited August 15, 2014 by Dark-Rim

Hmm if you press 'T' instead of enter to talk, only your team sees it.  You can't see the other team's posts if they use it. The only way you can is if you're a spectator. You may see people type in orders, but that's just because they didn't use the team chat

If you see it, then something's wrong. Either you're a hacker, found a glitch or are visualising things

Or most people are too lazy or incompetent to use team chat.  What if team chat were default and you had to ctrl shift to chat with the other team?

No, it's only that some players are not aware of the existence of teams' chat.

All private team chat messages are marked with [team] tag.

That's when other team don't use "team chat" maybe they might forget to press "T" or ctrl alt + enter. it's not lag.
