Better drugs

I have a suggestion for new drugs

So lets get started.

 

1. Invisiblility drugs

 

This drug would be like all the other drugs, including my drugs, except that enemy tankers wont be able to see that you have drugs enabled. This may seem useless but if an enemy doesnt see your drugs they will attack, and fail. They dont fall from the sky though.

 

2. Acid drug

 

You can probaly guess what this is.

This drug is basiclly tank poison. You use it on yourself and the next shot will poison the enemy you hit.

The box when falling from the sky would look like a danger sign with green bubbles.

 

3. Teleportation drug

 

This drug is when you use it, the next person you shoot will switch places with you. Will not work with firebird or freeze. Can't use on allies. Can only be bought.

 

4. AOE Med

 

When used you and tanks around you will be healed. BEWARE! Enemy tanks can be healed by you.

It would look like a regular med except with mini tanks around it.

 

5. Anti-weather drug

 

When used freeze and fire dont slow and burn you. Would look like a tank with fire on one side and ice on the other.

 

6. Fortress

 

This drug is very powerful. Use it and you will set down something like a control point. It will already be yours but if you "capture" it again then your spawn point will be set there. can be destroyed by enemys capturing it. Can only be bought for at least 500 crys.

1- It will only speculate the game and unbalance it. You basically ask a second type of the same drugs, but only difference will be invisibility. And how are you supposed to know whether your supplies are on or timed out already? And then they should remove current drug system. But then what will you do? Use supplies all the time just in case? This can not be accepted

 

2- Tank is not a living object that you can destroy with poison. However it can be thought for the tank personnel, but something doesn't seem right to me. Like poisoning the tank and then what do we expect ? How will it be its behavior? A kind of drunk tank ? It sounds strange

 

3- This is a tank game, not a street fighter something. You basically want tanks to fight like Ken and Ryu

 

4- What are isidas for ? We don't need more kind of healers

 

5- Then firebird and freeze should be deleted from the garage item. Why? They already are losing their effects when they are around each other and isida will erase both of their effects. And now with this one, who would ever use them ? Not me

 

6- Then there will be lots of control points. Imagine 20 players in a game using this drug. Then we expect 20 different control points and nobody would even move to capture any points

Interesting idea with good motives though does need some considerable reworking.

 

1. The invisibility drug would make the tank too powerful, drugs are already a major power boost to all aspects of the performance of the tank. To prevent others from knowing that one of their opponents is drugging is unfair.

 

2. What you have suggested is basically like a definite kill from Firebird. I presume the poison would take time to kill (like Firebird) and could only be healed by a health pack (like Firebird in certain regards).

 

3. The real problem with this is the advantage is too spontaneous and how would you confirm the consent of the person next to you. It is not as though you could get it ahead of time because you would most likely be using this "on the spot". And using it on enemies is just unfair, if anything it should only be allies as you should have the same mutual goal, but then you face the problem of mults. So ultimately I conclude that this drug is not appropriate for the game environment.

 

4. The "AOE" actually sounds interesting though would too significantly affect team battles. As every tanker has suffered at least once in their time on the battlefield is that one druggy who blows in and turns the whole match around. This would too greatly add to that.

 

5. Again an interesting idea, though not well thought out. This would be like having a kit that entirely stopped Smokey's ability to critical hit on you or that would stop you from taking damage due to Thunder's splash. Each weapon in the game has a unique feature that makes it special. To add this supply, would be removing the distinct feature of Firebird and Freeze.

 

6. This was actually the only one I could visualize as a plausible new supply that you have mentioned here. I could see a significantly smaller point with the name of the player who planted the point hovering just above it. Though obviously, you have again made it too powerful, so I would imagine that if ever introduced it would only provide one respawn and still can be destroyed by the enemy at any point.

In my opinion, this wouldn't be a very good idea because many people, such as myself, rarely drug a lot and wanna save them for gold boxes.

Adding even more power ups would give overpowered players even more of an advantage, Pretty good ideas for power ups though.. ;)

Control points seem to be pretty OP though.

damn! we ,  the non buyers , do not want new drugs! infact we want just mines health and nitro. they are enought and we dont need new 6 suplies. they will  be 11 then and how will you call the 11? anyway. the drugs we want are only for parkour. so definetly NO and NO and NO

While the idea as it was placed doesn't seem like a good one, it can still lead to interesting concepts.

But first let's make something clear; it's not drugs that's bad but the way some people use it. Drugs, as temporary improvements or add-ons for a tank are both valualbe for the players and for the company' s income. On the other hand, drugs overused (continuesly used and all of them at the same time) lead to two clearly different group of players, those who CAN AFFORD IT and those who can't, thus a kind of premiumship. This groupation will definetly contadict TO's interest in becoming even more popular, since only rich players will play it.

Conclusion; drugs are ok, but the company needs a better regulation for their use by the players. The rumored rule for not more than 2 drugs at the same time seems a good start.

So, under this concept, we can accept maybe new kinds of drugs that can enrich the game without raising the cost of it. Thus, the ACID drug proposal, the TELEPORTATION drug proposal (better Switching place drug) and the MED drug proposal are kind of interesting for TO Developers to give them a thought or two...

Let's make druggers even harder to kill by preventing you from even knowing where to shoot!

 

2. Acid drug

 

You can probaly guess what this is.

This drug is basiclly tank poison. You use it on yourself and the next shot will poison the enemy you hit.

The box when falling from the sky would look like a danger sign with green bubbles. Would make Firebird obsolete.

 

3. Teleportation drug

 

This drug is when you use it, the next person you shoot will switch places with you. Will not work with firebird or freeze. Can't use on allies. Can only be bought. Isida would not benefit from this. Also, overpowered. If I have a flag, I can shoot an enemy in my base and cap the flag extremely easily. Not to mention having a Mammoth teleport directly into your base wreaking havoc.

 

4. AOE Med

 

When used you and tanks around you will be healed. BEWARE! Enemy tanks can be healed by you.

It would look like a regular med except with mini tanks around it. Uh, no. Mults/people performing sabotage could just run to the enemy base and heal everyone.

 

5. Anti-weather drug

 

When used freeze and fire dont slow and burn you. Would look like a tank with fire on one side and ice on the other. Firebird and Freeze would be pretty useless.

 

6. Fortress

 

This drug is very powerful. Use it and you will set down something like a control point. It will already be yours but if you "capture" it again then your spawn point will be set there. can be destroyed by enemys capturing it. Can only be bought for at least 500 crys.

Plant this right next to the enemy base in a hard-to-reach area and GG.
