The Flamethrower Tank can run out of fire.

They didn't. They where used at close range. Plus they still had a 75mm cannon.

The "Firebird" in-game doesn't fall to the ground, it simply evaporates into the air. It also is most likely to be fueled by a gas.

Very true. I didn't mean it was exactly like the one in the game. But it is very similar. 

 

• smokey is real
• thunder is real
• firebird is real
• shaft is kind of real (tanks do have scopes)
• freeze is fake (there is some research been done that uses lasers to cause flash freezing)
• isdia is fake (unless you look at it as a medic. However there are EMP type weapons and teasers)
• rico is fake (but there is such a thing as ricochet firing >> link << )
• twins is fake (unless you think of it as a machine gun, but then the damage is too high)
• rail is real and fake (a rail gun it is not a practical weapon, but is real, and still in development. I don't think one has ever been mounted on a tank)

You're right, the only prototypes I have seen of a "railgun," have been mounted on battle ships in the Navy.... based off of what I have seen on the History and Military Channel on my cable tv. :P

Well, actually they do not all exist in reality.
