I use the /vote all the time

it always works for me

the green stuff written doesn't always happen because the mods may be busy

the mods boot tonnes of ghost player( blank tanks) and people who are not palying

people who are playing they won't boot because they are not mults

Well it  helps if you talk to the mod on Skype all the time  too. :o and watch there every move .

So they can come running to you , BUT when the mods are busy doing other things we don't bug them  B)

We like to talk to mods too in Skype.  :)

But it not about the /vote its about how to make tanki better.  ;) for players in the long run.

It never works for me. In a recent example, I had time to pm a mod, get a reply and post a new topic to the forum asking for immediate help and assistance.  All that while, sabotage was still going on in a 100 flag ctf battle. I got told to use /vote in the pm, I already did that, obviously, and no immediate assistance came as a result of my topic either. The game went on that long that I ran out of disk space recording! I wasn't the only one who used /vote in that game.

There is no fear anymore from mults and saboteurs. They don't care about any bans they might get. In this battle, I got told he got a ban with some players on the enemy side for colluding with him but I had to spend several hours editing, processing and uploading the video in order to get him a slap on the wrist. Tell me who is winning? Players who just want to unwind and play tanki or mults and saboteurs. From where I'm sitting they're winning and they're multiplying as each day passes.

 

Everybody, please write, "I support this campaign" and help take back tanki from these game spoilers.

I'm guessing it wasn't the /vote that worked. It was most likely the fact he was on skype with his mod buddies. But this is speculation, or is it? You decide why it works for him and almost never for anyone else.

 

 

 

 

To avoid being completely off topic, here is another idea. Is there any way we can get a safe looking shortened url of the thread that we can paste in game to educate people about this campaign?

Sorry I missed this. I'll see if there is anyway to do that. But for now tell anyone you can. Talk about it in the server chat as well. A few of our supporters, I brought here from a battle we were in when it started to go bad and at least 1 came from a server chat conversation.

Does anyone know if the /vote command carries more weight if more than one person votes for a player in a battle?

If it does then you could add, "Everybody vote for...." to the translate text file

For first problem, we need new kick system and suggestion by ApsoluteZero.

For second: It can't be fixed before game becomes downloadable. Then, Launcher should go full-screen while in battle, so he can't leave it. I suggest leaving-game of "League of Legends". Then, players won't be able to leave, amd don't get blocked(for 5 mins). Next time when player leaves battle, he gets blocked for 10 mins. Then 1 day, and so on. This idea would make problems with parkour and battles with time length 300:00. Solution? Here:

 

-There will be special Pro battle, where battle found won't raise, you won't get xp for kills, it will be endless battle and you can leave or join it when ever you want. Also, in the beginning of battle name, there would be [Parkour]([Паркур], and it can't be changed, you can only put end of it.

-Players while creating or joining battles with length of 60 mins and more eill be warned that it's extremely long battle and they must finish it.

-After battle gets created, it leads it's creator to battle's chat room which is seen in battles by other players. When both teams are full, game starts to count to 10 and match begins.

-After match is finished, player which participated in it goes to stats of match. There would be few options, like "Rematch!" and more.

I have been in these kind of situations before and then we jut report Him/Her, but even when some players report the Multers or Sabotagers, the Mod/s never seem to take a look at this battles. I've been in battles where we are there for quite a long time and a Mod never seemed to come to help. I think TO needs a new kind of Mod, I'm not saying the Mods we have now are not doing their job, but what I'm really saying is that I don't think there are enough Mods to do so much for all these situations. I think TO should make a new job where the Mods job is to go into a battle that has a player reported, that way these problems can be solved. There are little Mods to help maintain all of the Tankers, so why not separate the Chat Mod and create the Anti-Mult/Sabotager Mod.

Just support us by getting the word out that we will not tolerate mults and saboteurs any more. Give people this link. Take screenshots. Do some of the other things mentioned in the first post. Video is not the only way to stop them.

How do you avoid them? I assume PRO battles. I also assume there would be a lot less trouble makers in PRO battles. So maybe that is another solution to the problem, play more PRO battles.

 

This does bring up an issue of how many people would make a report if the mult/saboteur was helping their team win. It is much easier to spot and  get angry about when the violator is causing you to lose. Many probably go unaware of the problem if they are on the winning side. If this is going to have an effect we will have to pay close attention and be willing to act even when it may hurt us. Self sacrifice will be the hard part, in the end it will be better for everyone.

I support your campaign and have previously suggested to tanki options that could ensure the long term integrity of the game. They have fallen into the abyss that is idea's and suggestions.

 

1)Make it so you can block people from joining your team in future battles. You can black list them from joining “your” team ever again. They can join the oppositions team but will not be able to join a team that you are on, so it won’t be abused by people trying to avoid good fighters. So non team players who like sitting around picking up blue boxes and multing all day will only be your problem "once" and eventually if they continue their poor behaviour they will find it difficult to interfere with anybody’s game as they become added to more and more lists, they will have to stick to single death matches. When we play we want to play, not be running around trying to refereee players and take pictures and videos to show how we were wronged. With this ability at least you will have some comfort in knowing that person will not be able to do that to you again. Maybe have the list reset once a year to give them a chance to change their ways.

 

2) It's like catching blue boxes has become the object of the game rather than defeating the opposition. If my understanding is correct the boxes fall in frequency with how much killing is going on, more killing more boxes, if it was possible to make it so the people not killing cannot pick up the boxes, you need to have participated in game play in order to pick up the boxes ie: killed or done something prior to the boxes dropping. I guess i feel they should have "earned" the right to pick up those boxes and if they haven't well then they shouldn't be able to collect them.

What does your story have to do with this topic? Did you follow all the instructions? Because if you didn't they will not answer you.

The reason for shooting him was that he had not earned the right to take the gold box. If he had been in the battle from the beginning or even a shorter period of time and been helping his team, then that would have meant he had earned the chance to take the box.

 

EDIT: I should clarify what I have an issue with. If you are lucky enough to join a battle and a gold box drops shortly after you join and you get it, great good for you, but stay and help your team. What I don't like is people that only come in, looking for gold boxes and then leave.

Yes, I do not see a problem with that.

Just to clarify even further, this is something that I don't like. I'm not suggesting that it is a rule or that what they are doing is wrong. I just feel it is disrespectful to players that have fought hard to trigger the gold box drop, to just come in, steal the box and leave.

Maybe Tanki could implement a little recording tool which will allow us to record mults. This is because you have to record, upload to YouTube then post. And sometimes the footage doesn't get accepted. The whole process is very long and boring.
