New campaign against Mults and Saboteurs.

You are right that I have not experienced the gold box experience yet, but my son gets one or two daily.

 

But think about it this way. If you have 10 players (on average) in the game and you divide one gold box between them, that is 100 per player or whatever. The highest player may get 300 out of that. That is still a hefty amount to get as extra. If you are good and you collect a few hundred in every battle, i.e. a couple of thousand a day, will you still leave the game? Are you really in it for the free stuff? :)

 

You know, I think removing gold boxes and keeping the crystal boxes would have been a better choice because it provides a reasonable temptation for people to take it but not good enough that you would kill yourself to get.

 

Anyway, you can never achieve "poetic justice" without making hard decisions sometimes it makes you wonder if you should make those decisions or say to hell with justice and fairness. :)

also people are not playing the game for free stuff. they play to enjoy it! there are many people who actually would like to get a goldbox which is worth 1000 crystals, and be the lucky one among the lot rather than get 3000+ crystals as a daily gift. i literally almost killed myself with joy after getting a goldbox as it was a sign of honour and provided me extreme enjoyment and excitement in the game.... but sometimes this can go out of hand, the 100 cry boxes was just too much as everyone treated it like a goldbox and sabotaged the gameplay to get to it! but the gold box is different, as you are actually permitted to stop gameplay for a short amount of time just to get the gold box. you will see this happening a lot in higher ranks where EVERYONE stops killing each other until the goldbox drops. but the game is still under control as everyone goes back to their positions and continues gameplay.

i hope you get my point. i think you were looking at this matter in terms of fairness and justice, but most vote for the goldboxes because it provides them that moment of exhilaration to win the well deserved prize for their efforts...

If people help each other, wish the good, they wouldn't do the bad for each other. (Games sometimes makes us pissed.)

Some players around here take 1 vs. 1 extreme dead serious, or XP 4 vs. 4. Just want to ask why?

 

some dont treat games like games anymore. it has become their life, and thats how they treat it.

My son tried to persuade me to play it several times. He even wrote on his note to me (from school) asking me if I would ever play Tanki, and I replied to his note saying no way!

He lost his password twice at staff sergeant and had to start over. The second time he did, I called him and went to Tanki to help him with remembering the password. He then said, he was fine, he did not want it anymore, and he would continue with his new account. So in the middle of that, I tried Tanki a little and got stuck.

Do your dad a favor, and leave him alone. :)

lolz, i am defintely going to show my dad this.... he has always been asking me why kids play such games, he will now know the answer. but still, tanki IS addicting right? also since you are in the game world, you will be wise to listen to kids as in this place, children are ALWAYS right and not the parents (well at least most of the times :) ). so it would be pretty wise to add some topic-related words like me to stay on topic and not get punishment by the mods (they are like game parents).

question: does multing include hacking the game and stuff, or does it just mean using an alt in a game along with your orig account but being inactive so that others cant play?

Hacking and using 3rd party software are not considered "multing", that is a different issue. Mults, at least my idea of a mult, is a player's alternate account or simply just any player who is inactive. Sometimes players take turns being mults for each other, this way they all get a chance to collect the battle funds. If not the first game then the second. Then sometimes that mult will decide the sabotage, so now if it a 10 vs. 10 with 2 mults/saboteurs on your side, which makes it really like 12 vs. 8.

I would like to list myself as a supporter for this cause, as well as my clan Warrior Tanks.

If we didn't have mults we wouldn't have the problem of our team strangely succumbing all of a sudden although leading 6-0 CTF with 5 mins left.

I am sure most treat it as a game.  The trouble is people come to play, enjoy themselves and gain experience points.  Then their time is FUBAR'd by players who sabotage the game for your team.  This is plain ignorant and the player should be dealt with.

FUBAR'D? lol, u just created your own language there... but i think it would be synonymous to ruined. but yeah, random players who come with players might be annoying, but just at it in their point of view... they dont have xp mode for themselves. also some prodigs entering the game may not even know what an XP battle is
