New campaign against Mults and Saboteurs.

We may be shouting but it is falling on deaf ears. There may be high server load counts but half of those are mults LOL Just look at the polls and you can see that 11% of the player have more then 9 accounts. There is the real problem. Tanki allows you to create your owns mults by not controling account sign-up.

I have more than 9 accounts, but I have never "multed". I keep them at different ranks and each has unique combos. I don't know if I'm lucky or something, but I've only encountered a mult once while I've been playing Tankionline.

So, is there any word that Tanki is taking this seriously?  I have reported a few in game but I have not seen anything happen.

 

In one game (yesterday) I had at least two players on my team preventing me from bringing in a flag.  I also had players asking to 'team' in the open battles...not sure why they would play in an open battle when they wanted to team.

 

This is becoming rampant in the game.  I wish Tanki would do something about it rather than messing with the rules for power-ups and gun physics (at least divert some attention to the matter)

Yes there is. Because so many people are reporting, the moderators go for the ones with the most reports. So if you convince the other players in the battle to report them, you will attract the attention of the moderators. When people are preventing you from capturing the flag, they don't instantly know it. You have to take a screenshot and follow the rules in the forum for reporting them. Then they will get banned. If you mean DM by open battle, teaming up IS allowed. It's the only mode that you may team up with people that you could also destroy.

If I had the time, I could report a mult in almost every battle I play in. Unfortunately, it takes a long time to gather, process and present adequate evidence. There are few honest games in tanki at the higher ranks.

 

 

 

 

I played 1 game this evening with feli-fighter and it got raided with the raiders' mults on our side too.

Happens almost every battle.

About the banning for bad words, I typed something like "...your lag..." can't recall exactly. Half the letters were blocked.  I tried a few times but it was still blocked.  I am not sure what I was typing that was so bad...maybe Russian or German? 

 

I was about a player whose lag was so bad we could not kill them...worse when they took our flag.  So we asked them to leave and had a few people report them.  Finally they left.  I felt sorry about their bad connection but you can't play against a tank that is bouncing all over the field.

 

More low grade mods with the ability to kick players out of a battle would help.  They would not need full mod powers just the ability to enter a game where their is a report and take action if necessary.

 

I certainly would not want all players to have this ability :o

I have been in a private discussion with a Developer and he tells me they are aware of the problem and are also aware of this topic and the "KICK2" topic. I have no other info at this time other then the fact they are looking at something. There was one piece of information. He tells me that the mult problem seems to be a bigger issue at the higher ranks. I can only assume , because of the increased need for more crystals at the high ranks the need to cheat becomes more appealing.

Raider group in a 100 flags CTF today, raiders even used mult in my team. Avoid this kind of battle as it is said by Canadian_Eh. Screenshots under spoiler.

 

Raiders: the first, second and the fourth one in blue team. They all use the same kind of weird name. As you can see the similarity of the name of the second and the fourth players in blue team. In most cases when I see players having this kind of name, they are drugging in those 100 flags battle or other battles with high battle fund.

 

 

The player with rank of lieutenant colonel using m0 wasp and m0 twins. In the previous screenshot you can see he had bad kill death ratio. It was hard to report him because he did not multing in a obvious way, he played like other players in my team when I tried to record him, but he blocked my way when I was holding flag from enemy team to get me killed. Once he pushed me off the cliff, but it was hard to report him since he did not do it very often and in a obvious way.

My Opinion and experience says:

 

1) the chat vote command is useless ! (/vote someone) is usless, whether i vote anyone guess what happen ? ( BIG NOTHING ) while i vote someone in my team who is ruining the match, the other team wont vote him ! because he is giving them the advantage of the game !

so the chat vote command is NOTHING and you CAN'T RELY ON IT

 

2) gold box hunter is something normal in the game ! and if anyone asks about gold boxes if they drop that doesnt make them mults ! in fact iam asking you ! when you see a gold box dropped ; do you rush to take it or just ignore it ? so the gold box is not a good excuse to speak of

 

3) moderators: i have managed to capture screenshot to people who hack ! mults ! sabouters ! and when posting it in the violation sections , a moderator would come and tell me one of these two things ! the quality of the image isnt good to take action ( but in fact the image is clear to see what happened) other moderators would say (a single screenshot isnt enough to take action ) hahahahaha and this is funny because i have to follow the mults and ignore the match just to have different screenshots over them. and if they notice what iam doing, they just start playing good in order to look as good players !

Agreed. The current  /vote is not very effective, however it is all we have and I have been told that a request for an updated version has been made by an Admin.  I guess we will have to wait and see what happens.

Yes I do go after gold boxes, but I do not jump from battle to battle "hunting" for them and I typically stay in a battle until the end.

Well simply taking a screenshot is not proof of what someone was doing before or after that screenshot. This is why they require video. To you it is very obvious what the guy was doing, you witnessed it first hand, however without seeing the whole chain of events it means nothing to the person looking at the screenshot. I understand your frustration. You are trying to do the right thing but some people try to make false reports so the mods will always judge on the side of caution.

What kind of games are you playing where you can be on the losing side, be a mult and still earn 3000 crystals? You would need to have the highest score and that would be very hard if your being a mult.

I've played a battle that lasted me 6 hours. I didn't mult there, thought. I've done that, however, in battles that I played in for an hour. Like I played normally for like half of it, and when people just drugged to the full, I had to mult.
