If they were smart they would force all players to provide an e-mail for registration so it is easier to track who owns which accounts. What they could do is make it so you sign up for a master account and each master account can have a number (5 for example) of sub accounts. If you get caught using any of your accounts to break game rules then you master account gets banned. If they wanted to, they could make Tanki much more secure.

I support this topic with my heart and soul...  I mean, there's no point playing Tanki when teams are rigged from the start and there's no fairplay!

Of course cheaters would love our current infested system.

I wonder who had already seriously stopped playing TO already (much) because of this annoying situation...

Maybe it's just me, I dunno.

I do know that the number of high rank battles is getting less. This tells me they have left or have restarted with new accounts. So many players just restart. I have 5 accounts myself.

I recently saw a post by a mod that claimed separating battles based off equipment instead of rank would only allow skilled high rank players to completely overwhelm lower ranked unskilled players. Well this is already happening, its called new accounts.  Plus we have a massive unbalance, that is getting bigger, between buyers and non-buyer and this is allowed and in fact encouraged. With some of the recent updates unskilled buyers can easily out power and beat a non buying skilled player just because of the difference in strength of equipment. As it has been stated many times now, Tanki is free to play but pay to win. And this is why many players only play low rank accounts and then give them away when they reach a certain rank. Giving them away and having them linked to a main account earns the main the highly coveted crystals needed to play at the high ranks.

You gotta love Tanki and the double standards.

Restarting isn't a good solution, however. I restarted quite a times and then I hit the same brick wall repeatedly. This 'plague' have also recently started to infect the lower ranks. It is common in 15 min battles where in just 7 mins into the battle, you will start to find many 'reliable team members' leaving the battle and this create holes for 'low ranker mults/saboteurs to fill up quickly. After which the enemy becomes so strong and overwhelm you within 1 -2 minutes (using heavy drugging). It would be the same case as 30 mins to 60 mins battle, only that they 'delay the inevitable'. I tried my best to play further and then it got too frustrating to continue. Almost every 'playable' battle is the same. :(

Sometimes it's not even buyers vs non buyers but raiders vs strangers. The Russians also have access to inexpensive crystals, maybe this also contributes to the mults/saboteur problem indirectly? If an account is gone, one can just build back another account cheaply...

If they give away accounts, wouldn't they risk some kind of ban or something?

Oh and... most of the time, team members would speak in some kind of foreign language like Russian or Ukrainian and disregard anything in English. Even if I tell them to use /vote, they wouldn't care.

Wait till daily missions come in, I bet it will be more unplayable still.

Restarting can be fun in early stages, especially when you spot the other guys who you know are too skilled to be playing at that rank, it usually ends up you just target each other lol

Just played 3 rio games in a row. Obvious isida hacking - killing everyone, couldn't be killed. I just starting typing vote over and oer and over throughout the first game. We lost. Started typing again in the second game and also ran into a mult. They were up 3-2 with about a minute left i got the flag and took off. Dude jumps in front of me and blocks me. The enemy kills him (probably by mistake) and I go on with the flag but they had our flag. We each held the other teams flags time runs out they win 3-2. Next game I start typing early and often. That same isida I am now 2 shotting. Before, 4 or 5 of us couldn't kill him with everything we had. Now he has stopped hacking and I am killing him with 2 shots from my m3 thunder. Also the mult left because I started typing vote on him too. We won that game 6-2. Keep typing whether a mod comes or not, just keep typing vote\ and they will leave or stop hacking.

I wouldn't say the isida user is hacking if he was possible to kill. I think it's just that isida is buffed, or the player was drugging hard. One time, I tried 2-shotting a Hornet-Isida with my Rail M3, but he survived because he was self-healing. The damage is the same but I have no idea what happened to its self healing :s

Um, if you can turn on a hack then you can also turn off a hack.  So players point is valid.

Basically there are a number of hack in this game with limited moderation.

I have seen this many times. I have seen players using an invincibility hack, warned them that I was going to report them, and suddenly they are no longer invincible. Hacks can be turned on and off at will. Another trick is to cause lags on purpose, so they seems to be invincible for a moment. I'm not exactly sure how it is done but it involves blocking or interrupting  the flow of data to and from the server for a second or two.

Here is what I have seen which seems odd. Lots of times I have tried to block a flag carrier who suddenly and conveniently lags at just the right time to avoid being blocked. Up until that time and after that, the same player has no lag issues.

LOL...yes.  TO is full of players with hacks and there is little to nothing done about it.  So the choices you are forced to live with are hack or become fodder for the masses.

The game is so far down hill now it is pointless to play without a hack and unless they step up and fix the cheating there is no point..

It's getting to the point that there are no more battles worth playing.

At my current rank (Major) the game drops me into a server where I am consistently among the lowest ranks.  The number of battles has sharply declined over the last 6 months to where some nights there are NO deathmatches at all on the 'preferred' server, and the team matches are dominated by covert squads of cheating drug monkeys just waiting for cannon fodder and exhibiting every form of cheat, hack and deception.  If I open a new battle I sit in it alone for 15 out of the 30 minutes and then suddenly am overrun with raiders and find myself being blocked and pushed and having my shots spoiled by my teammates while the opposing team spawnkills me at every opportunity.

The game is infested.  If it was a restaurant the health department would shut it down.  I don't see a solution unfortunately, but at least daily missions are now giving me an interesting and stimulating opportunity to recover part of my overall loss.  If they back those out I will probably have to find me a new hobby.

Trust me a video game is not a matter of worry for me - it's more like digust.  I like your idea on merit but usually when I  try another server there are no battles there either and when I make a new one, nobody comes to the party.

I have had a bit more luck switching to a different language server set, like Brazil.  The only problem is that in there I can't read any of the controls and just have to remember what they are in English.

Sometimes I think that just about all the other players in Tanki now are part of a raid team.  There are not too many mavericks left.

There is no hope.  Every team battle I join at this rank is infested, if not with organized raiders, then with teams of 2 and 3 drug monkeys on the phone with each other.

Somebody told me just to get used to it, that it only gets worse the higher you rank.  I suggested that maybe admin ought to just quit trying to promote fairness and rules and just go ahead and partner with Teamspeak and start posting game tips on creative ways to cheat in gangs.

Thank goodness for daily missions, at least now I can score a few crystals without having to endure an hour of being spawnkilled by drugging Vik Ricos.

Yup. The SAME GROUP OF PLAYERS arrived at the halfway point of Berlin 4 times, to take the battle fund. You know who I'm talking about. I will just say that they are scurrilous scum and be done with it. You can see them planting bogus players on the opposing teams.

If I hadn't been pinged out, I would have mopped them up.

There are hundreds of casual players who feel the same way. When it reaches the point where only cheaters and scum do well, maybe it is time to chuck Tanki for good.

No, there is definitely a hack: when a player is easily killable in one game, and in the next you do 600 damage and he's still unfazed. Tanki says there is no hack, which means it exists. Or did. I haven't seen many unkillables since late August.
