I am in the minority here, playing mainly in non-team games, but so many of the problems reported here occur there as well.

However tonight when I voted on one cheat, a little while later a message came up saying that a moderator had made a decision and suddenly that player was no longer impossible to beat.  Not only that, but some messages in Cyrillic that I was not able to read went past in messages.  Then all the players seemed to stop cheating.

My points being that firstly the message from the mods is a GOOD IDEA! It lets you know that at least someone has LISTENED to your vote, even if they do not agree with you.  Secondly, I have to disagree that you have to "catch" everyone cheating in a game, they warn each other when a "Reporter" is in the game and actively reporting cheats.

If moderators back you up, only one honest player can clean up many games.

If any of you know about the arguments for having Police patrol and area, the argument goes that it is a deterrent - Just seeing the Police in the area deters crime as you never know if they will be passing by when you do something wrong.  So PLEASE stick with this, we seem to be making a difference and that is what Tanki needs if it is not to degenerate in to a cheating-only game.

I do play some team games and I have been lucky enough to find some really nice people there and in Parkour / No Kill games.  I actually like the idea of these games as it allows me to explore the area without being killed and lets me experiment to get used to a new tank, or upgrade.  Having a smaller tank, any change in speed or weight really affects my tank a lot and the handling characteristics do change noticeably.  I find I have to get used to the change and typically I crash in to things like a n00b, or someone on the receiving end of intentionally-introduced lag!

can you correct the spelling error "probably non of it?" It's supposed to be none...lol

Took me a few minutes to find what you were referring to. Thanks for that, I didn't even see it. LOL

I'm so glad to hear little stories like yours. It makes us feel like we can make a difference. I agree 100% that deterrents are the most effective way to deal these players.

Thank you Canadian_Eh!

Some seem to try to pick as confusing a name as possible, so reporting them is more difficult, especially if in a different language.  I have to wait until they show up in the scores and click them there.  Could the game not be made so you can report them simply by a right-then-left click on their name in the actual game, rather than in the scores?  It would be quick, easier and you would not have to give up so many of your own lives hunting them down!

I've been working on an idea for a while now, Perhaps it has already been discussed, or perhaps others could improve it?  I have noticed that many players seem to pick on the smallest and weakest, to improve their scores.  I don't see much of a challenge in that, so I often go for the really big tanks.  Of course my score is not as good as the others and so I do not get as many rewards - But I believe I learn more by attacking those who are bigger, more powerful and who are more experienced.

So I was thinking that if stopping the blue boxes is seriously considered, how about a reward (experience and/or crystals) based on the "tonnage" of tanks you destroy?  Or possibly something like the tonnage of each tank, times the rank of the owner of that tank, divided by 100 (so it would technically be a percentage) as your "score" for each tank you destroy?

Does anyone think there might be something workable here as an alternative to the boxes dropping?  If your experience points were dependent on WHAT you destroyed, it would also solve the problem of those tanks that are script-driven and just drive around aimlessly, simply building experience points and not actually playing any part.

@Beep_me This is an interesting idea. We will need explore this a little further some time. I kinda have something on the go at the moment, so maybe in the future. As for the reporting issue, I do know that there has been requests made to the developers to modify /vote. I guess we will just have to wait and see what happens.

Nice campaign. It won't guarantee the complete disappearance of Mults, but it will sure lessen them. Keep it up and good luck!

I'm fully supporting this. In addition this, I'd like to offer a new cool down. I see a lot of people quitting and switch to winning team and that makes ppl lose interest in the game and they quit too then I see I'm alone in the team. When they leave the game, make them unable to join opposing team. Make them finish what they've started.

yea I hate when people do that but if they forced you to stay in a team. Then in clan battles if one of your team mates accidently joins the wrong team he wont be able to join his team the whole game

I know what it's like to be robbed of a battle fund, one time i went into a 100 flag battle that just started, i stayed for a while and got to about 80 flags, then the other team started drugging like crazy and we lost at 84-100, not only did i lose the battle fund, but i think alts joined my team cus they were sitting there AFK and i used a massive amount of drugs but couldn't fight off the enemy team in time. So I will definitly suport this and i already join short battles now.

Yea thats terrible. Weirdest thing happened on my long game though. I was playing, I was scoring all the flags. Then this guy join the enemy team and in 1 kill he gets about 200 points (unbelievable) then I piss him off so he switches to my team and with me scoring more than half the flags, after he scored just 1 flag he got about 1000 points which made no sense cos everytime I scored I only got 100. I guess I met a score hacker

GOLD BOX HUNTERS - are players that spend their time going from battle to battle just hunting for gold boxes and in many cases not helping the teams they join. I personally disagree with this behaviour but Tanki encourages it with "Gold Hunter of the Week". So you decide how you feel.

listen  gold boxes are part of the game so I do not like what you are saying here; tanki online is good for makeing gold hunter of the week!

Bring the hammer down. If they haven't learned their lesson from a lengthy ban, blocking them should be part of the discussion about their discipline if it wasn't already.

tell that to my first lieutenant account banned for life. For simply posting a link a guy told me to share. Which just happened to be a link to a fake crystals generator.

What??? that is part of the game!

Blue boxes lead to too many problems in the game. They could remove blue boxes and give players 1 crystal for each point they earn in a battle, instantly. This would be a much fairer way to do it. Why should I do all the killing for someone else to collect all the crystals for it? I'm not running a charity. It's bad enough that I pay to play so that so many players can play for free. You get payed for the work you do, what a crazy idea. If they don't want to remove them for all battles remove them for team type battles. It is not fair to a team to have some crystal beggars on their side.

That is a chat violation, not a game violation. To be honest you should have been more careful.
