Player's Moderation: Kick2

I gave up from this game. I didn't play it for 2 months, and when I start it over it changed alot. I don't like it, it' s not fun anymore. So I gave up

If you're gone, you gave up the right to comment on a game others are still playing. When I left, I left for  reason (bad bugs), and I came back because they addressed that reason. I'm still not happy, and I want more changes to be made so others don't have to leave.

Well,I see people are mentioning raiders..but,let me tell you,there are at least 90% of teams who use mults to raid,but I know few who only wait ALL spots cleared on losing side (I'm part of one),we play CP poly (PRO battles only)  exclusively,and NEVER use mults,i know few RU/UKR who do that same like we do,there's absolutelly NO BETTER FEELING then beating fairly enemy team,especially when they lead with quite big point difference (made one "takeover" few minutes a go with "only" 4 of my teammates (rest of the spots were taken by random players,our guys haven't been fast enough on mouse :) ),we entered in about -50 (60+ to 10+) for opponent and finished game with 100 points,they made it to 80 something..but!..with no mults,just equipment (m4+all top colours),skill and skype..we specalised for that particular game mode and found only 1 match (1 team made of Arm/Ukr/Ru players) in this whole game when we are complete and ready..mostly we are rading,just for fun,but never with mults,who are todays Tanki problem no1,heck,been here since mid 2012 and never seen bigger problems with mults then they are today..player moderation system is more then needed,it's mandatory,or this all is going to hell,lost quite of in game friends JUST because of this (mults),they didn't have nerves to continue..Tanki devs need to realize that new system can't be worst in any case then the situation with mults as it is today..sadly,they have different priorities (income)..heck,I don't remember game lagged that much like last few months..I really don't beleive that they are un aware of that,and incapable of solving problem..I'm playing this only because I have many friends,to hear them,to have fun on skype and in the game..game it self doesn't offer me enough to stay..Devs can't fix basic problems..do I need to write more?..ty for reading :)

game is fair,as we don't use mults :) what else should we do?..create opp team skype call and instruct 'em what to use against us?..raiding is not unfair part of the game AS LONG as raiding team DOESN'T infiltrate mults..everyone have acces to any mean of voice communication,almost everyone on top levels have in game friends..just needs to take advantage of that :) how on earth is this unfair? :)

Look, this is something you add to the game from outside, like hacks.

Also, some of the players can't reach.

tell me,where did u got me wrong?..we NEVER use mults..

 

plus,trust me,raiding is one of rare things left to do for old players ;)

This is some great discussion but it is getting off track for this topic. Maybe we should start a new topic about ethics of raiding , the use of mults and the reasons the game has become this way. Actually I think I will do that, when I have a little more time.  I will PM a few of you with the details.

What I think has become a common root of many issues in Tanki is the whole concept of creating and didtribution of funds, that makes today's Tanki way too competitive.

It worths a serious topic, well prepared.

(I don't feel like I could do that on my own)

 

Maybe a small group of players could do it?

Or then again, perhaps it would be a good idea, someone launch such a topic and after the whole discussion is done, a sum up would constitute a good thesis for this issue, along with proposals. Just like we did with the drugging topic...

Couldn't play at all tonight. Mults everywhere. Players not giving a hoot about it either because nothing of any importance happens to them.

This game is going down the pan. Server load didn't even reach 70k today or yesterday. High 60's. Nothing to be proud of tanki. It was over double this last halloween. Sad. Really sad. Tanki have become so stubborn they refuse to acknowledge this massive problem in this game. Where are you Semyon? No comment!

never seen so many mults ever since mid of 2012 (when I started to play),and,back then,tbh,they had much more reasons to mult (crystal drops)..now everyone is playing with mults just to earn,game ethic doesn't bother 'em at all..sad moments

Or does Tanki loose money on Mult accounts?

Tanki (IMO) gains money (but only in the short term) by top buyers, on the expence of all others.

Top buyers being druggers, mult creators or any other selfish and unsportsman like behaviour manifestation.

I would say Tanki makes money. If you are on a team full of mults, you start drugging to make up for the unbalanced team. So players spend more on supplies and MU etc. just to stay competitive.

I have the feeling a new hack is on the run.

A kind of partial unflipable - partial extra armor hack.

Is that possible?

Tell me, all you that have studied numbers and tanks' stats.

Is it possible for one M3 (or M4) wasp to receive a 90 degrees vertical to its line of movement railshot and not flip*?

Due to new anti-cheat system, impact force effects for a very short time.

My one friend ( Slightly_phschotic) has tried to flip my Wasp M0 with Shaft M1.5 and Hammer M2.

Nothing happened!

yes, at the moment you cant flip a wasp with the same M-class-rail.

-> M2rail -> M2 Wasp -> no flip

-> M3 rail -> M3 Wasp -> no flip

 

Wasp is still massivly effected by rail impact force, so in your example: If you would have hit the front section of the wasp, it would have driven down into the canyon ;)

 

 

I am sooo happy :)

Since this is online, I can play without studying my wasp from below all 2 minutes.

 

Wasp has still enough disadvantages to make up for it.. so I think it's finally more balanced now

disadvantages

- slower acceleration/stopping, so dodging is tougher then with a hornet

- slower stabilisation, so shots after stops/accelerations are very likely to miss

- low weight, so each shot makes you drive out of your line; and if you hit an obstacle and stop you usually die within seconds

M2 hammer > M0 wasp= no flip

I think there is no flip anymore, unless you hit on air

See my soccer analogy above.

It's also like two featherweight prizefighters: one gets beat and leaves, so Mike Tyson comes in for him, and despite being down 14 rounds to zip, KO's the unfortunate weaker fighter to win. If his "perfectly legal raiders" had been playing the game from the start, they would have gotten 20 kills or so, the outclassed opponents would have quit, and they would have split 600 crystals between them. By raiding (thuggery), they get most of the battle funds from BOTH starting teams.

Oh, yeah, that's fair. :wacko:

 

Occasionally they get their comeuppance: the raiders overtook in one 60 min noise, but in the other, they fell *2 CP points short*. Ha!

 

But seriously, you know when they use dummy players to get a 6 to 1 advantage in a 1vs1 game, they are really scraping the bottom of the barrel, and soon everyone else will be doing it too.
