In a normal game not using supplies is sabotaging.

The unbalance in game today is caused by the people who refuse to use supplies.

We need a way to automatically kick bad players, saboteurs and mults from teams.

 

One way to do it is to kick the players that accumulate an abnormally low score compared to the top players.

This way they either keep up or loose time in battles where they wont get any crystals.

No, mortars are those who choose not to let supplies choose how good of a player they are, game abusers are those who drug endlessly without care, it is ones choice to use supplies, people endlessly using supplies needs to be solved as it is not a normal attribute to gaming in comparison to other games which allow certain game features to ones advantage

How can players adjust themselves if we make battle requirements too high?

Players should be ready to use supplies when needed. Like when a game is raided. Or when the other team is drugging.

If we have 8 players drugging and 2 not drugging but also not compensating with skill, the 2 should be kicked.

It is absolutely not enjoyable to loose because some players decide they don t want to fight with the best they got.

And lets face it, for those 2 the game isn t funny also, unless they are mults, trolls or masochists.

Everyone agree that players who sabotage should be kicked. However, he didn't planned this situation, right?

 

If we think that a player who can't play as good as his teammates should be kicked,(because this battle is not on his "level")  then a good player also should be kicked. As he shouldn't have make the battle too hard for him, right?

 

 

Do you really want to force people just play DM? I already play mostly DM, more than all others...

I don't think you should have merged these topics. This topic is about a kick system for mults not a discussion about supplies use. The 2 things are not related in my opinion.

If you think that by using constantly supplies you end making a profit, you must have cheated in your math exams at school. Constant drugging costs at least 300 crystals per minute. That makes for 4500 crystals in a 15 minute game. Say, after decreasing for a couple of weapon changes, 3000 crystals, minimum.

Do you earn 3000 crystals per 15 minute battle? 6000 for a 30 minutes battle?

Of course not.

And if by mistake one battle gives you this fund, it means that you're top scorer in winning team. Well, second top scorer didn't use supplies?

 

Besides, constant use of supplies makes Tanki a pay-to-play game. Clearly.

DUMMY PLAYERS AND UNEQUAL ROSTERS

 

Having discovered how a quick "add and erase" lets you bring in a whole bunch of Raiders to outnumber the opponents, some organized groups are now building in a numerical imbalance at the start of a battle, using dummy players who exist on the other roster for less than a second.

I guess it was inevitable that weak programming invites unscrupulous hacks like this.

 

I saw three battles that started 2 vs 2 go to 8 vs 2 in about 1 minute. By the time legitimate players arrive on the other team (if at all given the substantial disparity), the damage has been done in the form of an early lead or strong defensive positions.

 

The only way to prevent this is either a) limit the number of new joins or b ) block players for a week who join and leave in less than 2 minutes.

But I never said to drug non stop. Just keep up with the game.

I try to be nice, or at least I don't intent to be rude and nasty.

But I am very pissed off with the whole supplies matter.

Honestly, I think that Tanki has found a way to exploit big time the players by selling supplies kits.

It makes players use constantly supplies and apart from all the strategy / skill / play style alterations this produces, it also makes players earn crystals that have become very expensive.

Why?

Because most of the crystal value has already be return to Tanki via sales and thus funds produced in battles are really lower value than before.

All in all, every time I face a team of drugging, I feel Tanki poking into my pocket. Not that I yield, but most players do.

Best game (in CTF) is non garage supplies. But that's pro, and pro battles  (except XP/BP) are extremely rare.. and pro pass too expensive to middle (and lower) ranks...

As for the maths, judging from the numbers I see in pics and videos, many players buy kits. And judging from the frequency I see in the battles I participate, they use all kinds of supplies.. At least two at a time.

That's alot of supplies.

That's what I wanted to say, other than that peace :)

Ok this topic has been discussed for about a year now.  As I cannot read all the 35 odd pages of posts, can someone tell me if this has now been implemented ?  If not, what is blocking it ?  If it has, what do I neede to do.  eg. Is there an optional add-on to enable the voting ?   Cheers

You need to tell your friends to give it a +1 like on a 1st page.

It will soon be a tanki world record and then tanki can be accused of ignoring it's player base.

Okay, the idea of "Players kicking players" is being ignored: too much potential for mistakes and abuse. Anything we try to do that is good will be abused by someone (anyone) to improve their play. The whole consideration is that

- having dummy players on a team is bad

- having paused players on a team for the whole game is bad (programming fails here)

- having players on the roster strictly to allow more players on the other team is bad

- when most of a team quits and leaves, raiders will steal the battle funds

 

I really, really would like to see SOME SORT of acknowledgement and response from "management" (the guys who pay the devs) that these problems exist, that they are a detriment to the play of many players, and that they will, inevitably, ruin the game. So far, like some vast Ponzi scheme, the site has kept its population. But not everyone wants to be a Gizmo and then start over (again and again), or pay a fortune for the strongest paints. Eventually (like every site), it will go under from lack of funds. 6 years is a long time, but remember that MySpace lasted 6 years.

And you will not get a $35 million golden parachute for a tank game site.

Okay, the idea of "Players kicking players" is being ignored

clearly it is..but devs are not working on any suitable feature to protect normal players..they are (which I don't beleive) unaware of real situation with mults or they choose not to (I beleive that's the issue) be aware

and here it goes..my good friends @biljance and decided to stop,both too frustrated to stay and play,morning after morning,day after day.MULTS..they wanted to continue,but they both don't have any nerves to continue,both grown people decided only real decision to make,because game is unplayable without full team of ur friends..just received a news from them..all that great time and fun on skype,playing together with those 2 wonderfull people for more then 2 years will be thrown in history,2 great friends leaving,thank you Tanki for that.. @dlharry89 , one of my oldest friends is thinking about that too for quite some time,I think this,decision from Biljance and emankci will only speed things up..lost many friends before,and story continues..one thing I promise,if I'll make decision to leave because devs can't or they choose not to take anti Multing measurres.I'll make hell on this forum from all of my accounts,staff will block them proablly after I'll finish with things and story I've got to write here about game which was great once..after that,gaming portals..I'll make sure people know real story about this..devs..it's on you..but my timer started counting down..this is not blackmail..but appeal to,for once start to do your damn job!!!

I think until mult and other sabotaur problems solved, we should just play Death Match.

When CTF games are disappeared, they may see us.

Mults are now being used at very low ranks as well. I was in a battle that had a max rank of  and there were 4 mults on my team and at one point 6. I assume they belonged to the 2 top players on the opposite side as they were the ones that were laughing about it. It is really sad that Tanki are too blind to see the problem.
