I'd like to thank all you guys for your support and for taking part in this topic but it's that time to close it. The cheating in this game is so commonplace it's now ingrained into it's culture and we should accept this is the way it is. Tanki have had plenty of opportunity to fix this plague and failed repeatedly to address it. I've heard that there are plans to reintroduce a kick system to this game at some stage. We'll see won't we - then again pigs may fly.

Please look at the AMA session with Cedric, into the FAQs ('About the Game'). He has said there are plans for a 'kick' update coming this fall ...

MULTS become a big problem in normal games to all players!

 

Moderators are to busy to react fast, please allow players to kick MULTS out - you should only add auto kick: if half of team vote for same player - kick him auto from that game!

 

To prevent abuse, those voters(1/2 of team) must have more points then MULT (yes, it would be nice to kick 1st and get his points, but...)!

 

eg.

in game with 8 players:

 

1. P1

2. P2

3. P3

4. P4

5. P5

6. P6

7. P7(MULT)

8. P8

 

if 4 of players from places 1-6 vote for P7 which is MULT, kick them auto from this game and prevent to join to that game!

 

And this will solve problem with MULTS without need for moderators ...

Increasingly team members not being active have become a problem. While I appreciate the possibility to take a break, there is a steadily increasing number of those joining a battle, but remain totally inactive. Some even take a break and then immediately the next one. That means that any such team having this type of people in its ranks is seriously negatively affected, often enough to the effect of losing, since being outnumbered.

 

Furthermore, others, who want to play cannot join a battle, since inactive players block available places.

 

I am not suggesting that I have a solution in mind, but consider 10 team places and two are filled with inactive players over a lengthy and perhaps also repeated period of time. Against 10 other players, these must be very bad, if they do not win. Hence, the team affected may be very good, but with extremely little chance. That wastes tanks and supplies, since without overusing supplies in such circumstances it is better to leave - what I do often enough these days for that reason.

 

I think this needs discussion, ideas, and a solution to prevent such no-team spirit.

I think tanki should make the voting system much more effective, its useless to wait a for players to vote for MULTS  in the game or wait for a moderator to assist the situation in short time maps 15/30 min or  some times in long time maps 60 min or more. so i think they should give the majority of the team the ability to kick some one out. For example if u play a 8vs8 noise and u have a mult in ur team u need at least 5 or 6 players to vote him out of the team and he will automatically will be kicked out of the map in this way i think mults wont be a problem anymore and this will be fair for both teams.

I have no idea what to call this idea but here is how it works:

 

The Problem: 5 minutes seems like a long time and anyone could use pause mode just to use the bathroom and then text their girlfriend and then get a cup of coffee and then microwave some burritos and then go check the score of your favorite team(believe me I have done all of these and I still had 12 seconds left). Or they could be multing(I wasn't multing. I was simply waiting for the battle to be over). Mults could easiily just press p at "0:01 seconds left" and then restart the pause counter. 

 

 

What this Idea does: Kick out mults. There are 2 standards on how to call someone a mult.

 

1. The number of points they earn per minute is less than a specific value. Right now I would say it should be 35 pts/min. 

2. The weapon they are using is 2(or more) modifications lower than the mode mofication of weapons on the team. So that means if some guy is using m1 firebird and most people on your team are using m3s that m1 user could be kicked. 

 

If a player doesn't meet one of these standards he is a mult. The moments the player doesn't qualify to be on your team, a warning sign will go next to the players name and the player. That player has 30 seconds to get out the mult classification. If 30 seconds pass and the player is still defined as a mult an x would appear on their name in scoreboard and if any single player clicks on the x the mult will be kicked. To be able to kick a mult you cannot be a mult yourself.

Some turret/hull combinations can often weaken opponents (enough for one railgun shoot instead of two, etc) but themselves don't score often.  Kick2 would work poorly in such cases.

 

To work well KickX system has to consider damage dealt instead of player's score.

This kick system does consider damage dealt because of update 294. We get 15 pts for a shared kill so any contribution is rewarded. It does not go by d/l or kill rate. This has been made clear on page 1. There is a lot to read I know and it's not easy to grasp all at once but thanks to all the contributors, we've ironed out and catered for pretty much every eventuality.

Maybe will be right and good if old kicker come's back but with new version how u know guys every game have his antihack antichet and something else

WHY THE HECK THIS ISN'T IN-GAME YET?! Like just WHY? see this account's equips, I am kinda multing and still not banned/blocked? Waaa...?

Because lower ranks do not take the trouble of recording videos, that's why.

For this idea, it would be appropriate to be fit in the /vote system, this is a way to keep mults from playing temporarily when the votes are approved and having them to get a probation.

 

This is more of an Add-on to voting someone while in battle than a whole different idea

I've really lost inspiration to play thanks to mults. Some time back I saw this chap who entered a Desert DM XP/BP with 3 of her/his mult accounts and killed his/her own mults and racked up 50 kills in no time with a D/L above 3. We all knew that s/he was multing and quite a few ppl voted but the mod never came in time which allowed the mult to quickly finish the battle and promptly leave.

If this goes on, this game will eventually lose most of it's high ranked active players. This game has a lot off potential to be better but honestly many of us are now frustrated and we only drop by occasionally to meet our friends.

What's really unnerving is the fact that an idea this popular hasn't even been officially acknowledged.

Even if it were not for mults, it's not fun playing with m1/m2 players that join your team, can't turn their turret, and are more of an adversary to your team. Such players deserve to be kicked from the battle.

Honestly, no one will mind the disintegration and goldbox update if this kick system were to be implemented. Focus on other updates later and focus on this kick system 1st.

After all we're the customers here and you're the service providers.

For the sake of many old, high ranked players and the game itself break your DEAFENING SILENCE ON THIS ISSUE!!
