Jeez -.- copy cs:go with player vote  more half of the team voted  kicked automatically -.-

cs:go vote kick system ain't the most efficient. They often end up kicking people for no reason.

Tanki had exactly that kind of system a while ago and people abused it all the time.

This doesn't solve all the problems, but it's amusing and disturbing to see that a player is prioritizing on this game more than the devs do.

 

If you were a person who could decide what updates were made or even if this update were implemented...

Possible but the person in the decision chair keeps prioritizing short term goals for money than long term goals.. 

 

TO has a very bad business model.

Yeah, they do. Paints... only buyers can and will buy the expensive ones. Gold boxes... SAME THING!!

I have no issues with the paint and gold box update. Every mmo needs money but HEY DEVELOPERS! Do you want buyers to continue playing this game and buying ? If yes, then you really need to bring out an efficient way to deal with Mults. 90% percent of the buyers quit this game because they're tired of mults. If I were to spend several hundred dollars to get some decent equipment and then enter a battle rigged with mults on my team which forces me to lose, I would feel cheated and would never be inspired to buy again or even play for that matter.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

I already felt like Tanki is cheating me. -_- Mults are too severe now. 4-5...rigged by friends/clans/whatever noob method they use. Tanki is a broken game. It's sending me a message that I must use 4-5 mults per battle to win.

I'm sorry to tell u that tanki is not evening trying to do anything about it in my view it can be solved easily u will get banned for a day the first time the 2nd time 3 days the 3rd time a week and that will still be the same if u got caught another time(a week)  when i mean banned i don't mean banned from the chat, for myself idc if i got banned i will still be able to join battle and play but cant use the chat nvm i could get another acc and start chatting with my friends in the  general chat , so the point that i want to show is that most of the mults are not scared to mult as they will only be banned from chat and still can play in the same acc and probably  mult in another battle,so the banned  i meant is the  banned from joining battles let them use the general chat and they still cant join battles or I will make it much better if u got caught multing u wont be able to join team battles for a day , 3 days or a week depends on how many times u did it,and if u get banned u will only be able to join in  DM  maps until ur banned ends, i think  this  will make them think again before multing and  i hope this would help in putting  an end to mults  ^_^

Currently, it is very difficult to get rid of players who are causing disruption by:

- Being too toxic in the chat.

Purposely pushing teammates to knock off their aim.

-Pushing teammates off of the platform.

Hackers you have various cheats that give them an unfair advantage that allows them to achieve the objective, e.g. catching a gold box or capturing the flag, a lot more easily.

Assuming voice communication is ever implemented, players who are being too toxic in the voice chat.

 

Every player on the team has to type in the “/vote” command into the chat which literally never works out because many people are disobedient, not bothered, queued with their friends, or they do not speak English (or the same language as the majority of players in the server).

 

It would be very useful even if you could open the scoreboard, click on the offender’s name, click on an option to kick the player, then a prompt comes on the screen that asks the team to choose yes or no, and the outcome will be determined by whatever the majority voted for. Even if you can only report players on your own team, that would still be very useful since you can still request that an enemy player does it to somebody on their team.

This idea was never going to happen. The topic only exists to give players a place to moan. I asked for it to be closed and it was for a time but then it was reopened.

 

Doesn't matter now for me anyway. I'm quitting for a while.  Far too little too late from tanki devs on this. 

I'll revisit the game around Christmas to see if it's gotten any better but I seriously doubt it. Until then, all links will be removed from my pc regarding tanki.

 

If you see me here, please berate me and call me names until I leave.

I'm now starting to have doubts about the new match making. If it is only a Pro battle pass thing, then majority of battles will continued to be plagued with mults. Also, what are the chances that your own team won't mult given this system? Will it be possible for clans to rig battles using the "random" system?

 

I say kick2 is better than the match making system!!

If this system works how I think it does then it's asking us to trade-off using a bit of knowledge when selecting the right battle to join, for the possibility that battles will be mult free.

 

Presumably you're gonna need to filter down the type of battles you want to join ( no point being randomly put into a map/mode you haven't got the equipment for). From what I've read there's a battle filter being planned, not sure if it'll be introduced at the same time as this system though. So if there is a filter u could just join a random battle on a preferred map with your main account, then use the filter on your alt and flood it until the alt gets into the mains' enemy team, or just use a few people on your friends list to achieve the same result...If u had a decent sized friends list, this would be possible even without a filter.

 

Clans are all getting put into the same team too...so fill the team with clanmates when you can and do the same trick as above. Also, what about battle invites for friends?this option would presumably have to be deactivated for matchmaking battles as it'd be another way to mult.

 

This “opt out from match-making battles” thing that was mentioned must mean that these matchmaking battles are separate from existing drug or pro battles. Otherwise anyone that opts out could surely just mult matchmaking battles as per normal.

 

We'll have to see what they come up with, it might be great or it might be useless, then we'd have to wait ages for them to find another solution.

I wonder if it will be like tourney style- like the one on DM...

 

But wouldn't clans have their own clan battles too?

I will explain my new suggest of The Dislike!

In sum, In this image above , The dislike button will appear if the player didn't get 10-20 score in 2 or 3 min , and if half of the team vote him he will been kicked from the map Auto!

 

It's better than vote and easy!

Developers are working on a new kick system which will be fair to all players. Your method is not perfect though and even though it's extremely unlikely that a honest player will be subjected to getting kicked, it's also too lenient so it will be ineffective against actual mults. Too easy to bypass.

Say there's a user swearing up a storm in the battle, and you and many of the other players are fed up with it. You should be able to lick their name in the chat, battle update, or statistics and have an option to kick the player. Three kick votes means they get kicked and can't join again till the battle starts over

Wahaha I love when the devs make an update that only buyers can use (New Shop and essentially Alterations) and when they make an update (Match Making System) when there's a better system lying around (Kick2)

 

MMS = Mults mult wherever they want, some mults mult for the sake of multing.

 

K2 = Bye mults go away you suck

 

Shop = Buyers don't have to wait for kits anymore wahaha and wait 10-20 dollars for a noob paint? What about the poor buyers who already got golden star huh?

 

Alterations = tens of thousands of crystals to change colour, I wonder about the stat changes?

 

"Remember, everything can be achieved without money."

Well this all-singing, all-dancing matchmaking system is supposed to be the answer to all mults and non-triers and is as perfect as possible. Can't wait to see this brilliant system in action.

Yes, it would be. But it wouldn't resolve the clan problem, either raiding or with shills and dummy accounts. If there is a way to cheat, they will find it...anything but the boring process of playing fairly.

Anybody recognize this group that tried to take over a 60-minute battle? I'm thinking you need a group to arrive together at a "lost battle" and coordinate enough firepower to (almost) overcome a 14-point lead. I'm still chuckling about that *almost* -- arrogance turned to chagrin.

I asked for some details on the planned matchmaking, so that the community has a chance to think about the ideas of the developers as well. Scenarios like Premium protection (was reduced from 20% to 15% after the overwehelming part of the community explained why) and the first tries of early battle termination (you do remember the sirens, that made you work harder, dont you ;))) have tought me some lessons here.

While DamnSlow kindly forwarded my question for information; the community manager just told me that it will be carefully analysed and that a lot of aspects will be taken into account - Mhm.

Each time I hear such prases in real worlds busines, I can bet on negative outcomes and dissattisfied customers pretty early :)

 

Whatever.. I cant imagine how a matchmaking system will "replace" the benefits of Kick2.0.

Especially as the only way that this would sound a little, litte reasonable to me, would be if tanki takes away the possibility from me to chose my battle by myself; and force me to go through a matchmaking mechanism, to rate me, and to place me in a battle of their choice (I may chose map and gamemode, they chose which of those battles I will enter).

 

I dont think this will happen at the moment..

Besides, as a non-drugger I depend a lot on winning battles. I need the higher income from the wins, as Tanki gives a loosing team only a tiny fraction of the fund. I simply can not afford to be matched into battles; I have to chose them carefully.

 

By the way, after my question the "matchmaking" was deleted from the development roadmap in the Wiki.

Coincidence for sure.

The only thing that makes me accept that Tanki develops without working in cooperation with a community that is willing to help for free, is that it _must be_ kind of hard to deal with the large amount of players that are not willing to accept that this is a commercial game, and not a christmas present. That not all their wishes come true.. and that the in-game-world is more complex then they can think of.

But still, there are enough clever players around here that can make a point for the one or other change, and can think in interdependencies; that are willing to listen and cooperate.

 

But whatever.. we are just sheep here :)
