Player's Moderation: Kick2

Recommended Posts

Can't people just gang up against an innocent tank that is good and then kick him out. That seems kind of unfair. Otherwise, love the idea.

No. Not possible.

No. Not possible.

I think it is. Rare, but possible. And I have seen - as you must have - "friends" that are majority to a team, and I have seen - as you have - really unsportsmanlike behavior... combine the two, and .. voila!

It's not possible.

Kick2 makes allowances.

In order be kicked you have to satisfy many conditions not just one. One of which is being an exceptionally poor scorer compared to that of your team average.

Remember, this is designed to catch mults, mult-like behaviour and irresponsible players. If you're acting like a mult then goodbye. It's very difficult to be below 55% of the average in terms of score and points per minute.

To put it another way, if you are above 55% of the averages in terms of score or points per minute, then you're safe.

Go find me a battle where someone was truly trying to win where they would be unjustly kicked.

Even takeovers will find it hard as an existing player in that battle will have amassed a score before they arrived which should have made them safe for a long while.

If you are kicked, kick2 will teach you to choose your battles wisely. Don't go to potential takeover maps with time durations of over 15 mins; try no supplies battles; etc etc.

What players should not be doing is entering a battle they have no right to spoil. I see it all the time. A raging battle and one person leaves only for a player  to enter who is 10 levels below the top rank.  You might not think that is fair but there must be some way of stopping irresponsible play too.

I am sorry, my mistake. I took it the argument was referring to a normal battle, not a battle with kick2 on.

I understand why it's not possible within this system, what I said was that without it, there is the possibility of being thrown out of a battle from a company, just to be robed of the funds. Apologies :)

lol, I tried restarting a new account and mults are just everywhere. People are creating them lower and lower everyday...

Straight out at even rank private, already filled with saboteurs...

ll the while you are being penalized and loosing points.

I have just returned from a game  Island CP where one player on my team did not fight and repeatedly rammed my tank over the edge, raza2n7 was the offender.  The reason why I have not reported it on the correct page is I have no visual proof because my PC will not support this function.  I repeatedly tryed to use the vote system but it would not go through.  Can this system be made easier to use please.

The system is already made to be easier to use - Use vote command and hope that moderators are online and has time in the specific moment - As far as i know, then many players use vote and moderators cant do it so quick as you want.
System cant be made easier, because it would need to accept more moderators, but with strict rules, it cant be possible.
Next time if u see multing player in your team and you see that you wont win - leave the battle.

The system is already great. Moderators can't just go to every single battle to ban the offender, as there are only few moderators and a lot more of normal tankers. It only works when 25% of the players report a same player, means more than one or two.

This was a pair on one side and a player on mine they where conspiring for points on the other side.  The player on mine was obliging them, he also resented me for trying to play and started to block and then push me over the edge.  .My report did not go through so the screen said.  I do not know why.  I may have miss worded or hit  the wrong key perhaps.  I did try several times.

I have been playing for some time, its not as if I am a new player.  I was just on an alternative account.  One does see this sort of thing more frequently in the lower ranks.  Is just frustrating when trying to catch up on daily missions.

It's not hell.... we must realize that if a moderator receives the information that someone has used the /vote function, it may not be a valid complaint all the time. People may simply be doing it for fun or even to call the moderator; or else vote someone for ruining a self-organized battle, for which bans don't count.

If there are a lot more players voting a particular person, then a moderator takes more interest.

I actually remember a chat mod (I don't remember who) telling me that action in the battle will be taken if a person is voted by more than half of his team, or maybe even from people in the opposing team. I don't know what the system for a moderator "coming to the rescue" in DMs is, though.

The report system doesn't work for battles with as low as 4 players....as just 1 report makes 25% of the total....

And you mean it said 'chat command failed' ? Just to tell, this is the way to report: (check if you missed something)

/vote (offender nick here)

I think the DMs are ruleless battles...why would one require a rule there? (except for jump hack ofc)

And even after that, I think that the same rule must be applying to DMs, can't it? They can count the total number of players instead of the teams...

Maybe, if they ever get around to finishing TankiX this idea will be included in it.

............zzzzz..........zzzzzz..........zzzzzz

huh, what?  Sorry was I talking in my sleep again?

BTW, what's happening with TankiX? It seems to have come to a grinding halt. They don't even mention it anymore.

I thought this new mechanism about players playing from the same server will reduce mults ans sabotage in tanki. But i think it doesnt. I see a lot of mults and even hacking. It seems like voting or even puting the link of that battle on chat server and calling admins to do something doesnt help. Even if we play on that battle for like 1 hour waiting for admin.

So i started recording videos because i cant play normal if this happens. and i feel so bad that this cheaters go without any punishements and losing a lot of crystals every time they appear.

Players sashariot86, VAHRAMOK and mimi930 deliberate inaction for more than 10 min. (tab from 4.07 min video to 14.37 min)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GIBOsmnQ5Lw

Player TEPMEHATOP322 going through tanks with enourmous speed and some sort of lagg appearance. This wasnt happening with this player at the end of the game, at end he played normal like the other players, maybe cause i warned them about recording a video.

Pls watch high speed going through tanks with lagg appearance (video 1.07 min, 2.49 min, 4.07 min)

You can see on (video on 10.17  minute and 14.32 min )  that player TEPMEHATOP322  played normaly, no high speed going through tanks anymore. He wasnt having lagg appearance like on first half of the video too.

In order for this to work they need mods. /vote never worked due to either a lack of mods or mods just not giving a dam, so why would this be any different. I wonder what they where thinking, clearly not much.

Did you try reporting these players in the violators section?

Mod's give a dam  but there are so many votes going on that its not possible to attend all of them. Got in a 2-2 Battle today (XP) I was shocked to see a mult going in the corner self destructing pausing... and when pause time gets over he takes flag dies and repeats. Need a better version on Kick Asap

SO basically moderators are usless when the player is just messing with one person, and cant do anything about it unless they are there.... correct?

Of course they're not useless, if they happen to be spectating the battle, they'll see him/her and take action immediately, but if a mod is not spectating in the battle, and if he gets just 1 report, that could very well be someone doing it for a joke.

More reports = more credibility.

Using a recorder and uploading it on YouTube is too much of a pain to take just to report a saboteur. They should be dealt with quickly and efficiently
