Bug in new Anti-Flood system?!

Hi, I am surprised of being unable to post in lobby for an hour!

Well this is intriguing, is it not? A fellow Consultant showed me one of the above given images and I thought it a joke. Yet here I am 5 hours later learning that this was a real problem. Did you try re-loading the page? Did the timer exist only when you were writing to a specific player and/or that specific player? Is this the only time you have experienced the problem? I shall be awaiting your response. :)

this is weird... I had that issue on one of the accounts I last used 3 days ago and logged into 2 days ago) today... But, I don't have screenshots.... It doesn't matter to me really... I never use it usually... It just so happened I tried and it didn't work...

Thanks for replying. No it happened to me more than one time, like 3 times or so. I tried re-loading several times. I have also oppened Tanki Online in a private windonw of Chrome. No the timer exists everytime I get to the lobby, so I had to go an my alt to talk in lobby. But the strange thing is that I can type in battle chat.

Well of course, no problem. Your case is peculiar, as I have never heard of it before. That was good thinking to try and open an Incognito Window. Did you try using an alternate browser? And, had you by chance put anything at all in the chat within 2 minutes of this issue?

I didn't try to open Tanki in another browser but I'll do it since I'm sure that will happen to me again, the first time this happened I thought it's just something with the system, but it happened to me oter times so I did this topic. I shall try and rephrase what I was saying earlier. Did you type anything into the server chat within 2 minutes of the issue occurring? And by the way, when you are in the battle chat, the anti-flood system is different. There is no limit to the characters you may type per second though the restrictions come into play when you start to post too many things consecutively.

I was chatting then I stopped, after like 10 minutes I wanted to chat but I was surprised with the count down (it was like the count down debuted a minute or two ago) And yeah I know, but I wanted to prove that I'm not banned.

Well actually, coming to think about it. If you had received an hour long ban from a Moderator, it may interact with the chat in the manner shown in the screen shots. That is the only plausible theory as of now. To learn if this theory is true, please ask either one of the Chat Moderators Admins, or @Shar0n, for your karma. They can tell you if you have been banned, and if it interacts with the server chat.

I discovered that the problem is from Google Chrome. It happened to me again in server 22:

So I decided to open another browser, Safari:

Conclusion: the problem is from Google Chrome.
