Tips for getting more FPS in game "For Beginners"

Recommended Posts

Hello evryone .
Many players has tested lag and low fps problems and most of them don't know how to solve it , so i'm giving some tips and ideas to help them

Tips:

1- Don't ever use browsers to run "Tanki" , because the browser is running many things at same time , so it will use more from power of CPU and GPU

Solution : - Play "Tanki" using Flash Player Standalone , a new beta version has released recently

you can download it from official website of Adobe : http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/flashplayer.html

2-While runnig Tanki make sure that it's the only thing runnig on PC (if it possible of course)

3-Don't download while playing tanki because it will take most of internet speed and it will make annoying Lags

4-Clean Memory Cache from time to time to make Tanki even faster (Not evryday or 2 days -_- )

5-Try to play is small or medium sized  maps with low number of players  it will cuz less lags

I Hope you enjoyed this simple tips , fill free to say anything

Got a great tip from a friend, and it works like a charm in my case!

I always (sooner or later) used to have fatal errors and lag in big Maps like Berlin and Dusseldorf.

When you go to settings (the "grey gear wheel" button: Battles - Garage - Invite a Friend - Settings) you will

find a box "Automatic Graphics Quality"

I always used to tick this box and check every single box in it besides "Dynamic Lighting". (too tiring on the eyes IMO)

Tanki looks great this way but in my case I also had the errors.

Now I still tick the box "Automatic graphics Quality", but now I only choose óne extra box: "Antialiasing"

The "Fog" and "Shadow under Tank" boxes are already checked and I don 't uncheck them.

(So in total I have three boxes checked under "Automatic graphics Quality")

I certainly don 't want to give up this anti-aliasing: it 's just too important for a nice clear view!

No more fatal errors and lag since I changed the settings like described above!

Good advice. What if I use the browser but I'm not running many things at once?

if you have a good PC and good inrnet speed it will be ok
