limited drugs or separated server

The more I think about it, the more I agree with TO's plan for a small cooldown time.

These things (Nitro, 2X Armor, 2X Power, Health Kit, Mines) were originally power-ups. However, over the years they seem to have mutated into DRUGS. All Tanki's trying to do is to revert them BACK to power-ups.

 

The difference between drugs, and power-ups, is that drugs are spammable at your command, 234, and 15.

Power-ups on the other hand, provide more strategy, and thinking. They also restrain users so that they don't go out of control, like how they are now.

 

Compare Tanki Online to other games. Other MMORPG fighter games. I know what you're thinking, TO is a shooter game. However, think of these power-ups as Skills. In Fantasy MMORPG games, wouldn't it be overpowered if a mage could spam all attacks, all at once? That would be broken, just how it is right now with drugs.

So realize how those game developers fixed this by making it how you can only cast one skill/attack at a time, and while using that skill, the other skills would be on cool down.

 

There is no successful counterplay here, and it forces you to become an Overpowered Mage, or to face loss. Or to leave the game entirely. Now doesn't that sound familiar? Force to drug back (like how I am in normal battles), or face loss. Sure these druggers are having a great time, but others? I disagree.

 

TO's not becoming ruined by implementing these updates. They're just making it better for EVERYONE.

 

Also, everybody knows about Pro-battles. While that may be true, my personal opinion on that, is that you don't NEED to join Pro-Battles just to avoid out-of-control drugging. Although PRO-battles is the goto choice for people who don't like drugs, I feel like normal battles should still be suitable to people without drugs, enabling them to win at times as well, if they have the skill to. However, it has become pretty clear that a non-drugger just cannot stop a Viking M3/ Isida M3, on full drugs with crazy paints that were once a rare sight on the field.

 

The italicized part was my main focus, how these power-ups, are like skills. Enabling you to use all at once is broken, just how it is now. There is no successful counterplay, and leaves non-druggers with no choice, really, but to face loss, or be pushed into PRO-battles with a fine of 5,000 crystals per month. Lol.

 

And those who keep submitting to loss over and over again, will not have the opportunity to grow in skill, nor crystals. They'll be stuck with newbie gameplay, in addition to lower leveled equipment. And then when they join other battles, they'll become a burden to that team as well. Who knows, maybe even YOUR team.

 

From my own experience, I found that I sharpened by TO skills most effectively when playing with my Railgun/Wasp/Forester set back then in my noob days. Drugging was not like how it is today, so I was able to figure out how the game works, and come up with new tricks/tactics for myself. I don't see it happening nowadays when all you're doing in battles is getting killed over and over again, never given a proper opportunity to play in my opinion.

 

Again, my main focus was the italicized part. Thanks.

But overall, this is just my view on it. Feel free to disagree, and it'd be nice to leave reasons why.

As long as you read it, I don't mind having it called a wall of words. Lol.

Even though I did try to make it better by dividing it into smaller sections and italicizing the focus of it. :P

i am not stupid that i don't know read. I ask for now at the moment, when we can use all drugs at the same time. They said 1min and it's around 45 sec not full 60 sec. so i try to ask him why it's not like they said.

What I gathered from that post:

  • He asked the Developers, when is it possible to use all three drugs at once? True, there will be a cooldown, however, will there be opportunities at times where all three drugs can still be accessed simultaneously?
  • The Devs replied one minute.
  • However, it is actually around 45 seconds, not a full 60 seconds.
  • So he wants to ask why it's not like how they said.

At least this is what I think he's saying. . . .

Cool downs will be enacted in this coming September.  234 could be used together, but won't be able to redo it till the time runs out.

i hope there should be a non drugging format of game. in which use of drug will be prohabbited

Well, there is in fact, a mode often referred to as pro-battles where drugging is prohibited. You might not see any less pro-battles for low-ranekrs. This battles, however, is not affordable for players who earn very little crystals, when they play.

Well, I can't give you a long list of names who left the game already because they been crushed by donated drugers. You know why?

 

The list is too damn long.

 

I have a longer list of people who actually stayed in the game..

 

The difference is that these players don't spend hundreds to thousands of dollars each month. I don't care, I just wanted to mention that you ruin your own income by doing this :)

lol you guys are just scared that this game will be more balanced by the new update. which will give equal advantage to all the players. so thats the reason you are criticizing so much :P

 

and Tanki Online is a much popular game. we love it. i do job but still i come online at night and play this game why?

 

because i love TO. i am addicted to this game.

The health of the game has to be valued over short term profits.  If paid users are so overpowered that it makes people quit then the game doesn't grow and you attract fewer paid users.  Financially it is best to strike a balance and offer people the minimum perks to separate them from their money.  Personally I give tanki a good bit of money, as I have several games in the past (especially a few minecraft servers) because it meets my criteria.  Everything is available to free users with work and without an overly prohibitive delay (think of the countless facebook games where one would have to grind for a year to get the equivalent of $20 worth of benefits).
