I don't think you really get the idea,a Challenge will only pop up if the player has the equipment available...

Gottta read trough the comments :P

I hope there'll be some longtime quests. Like, kill 1500 wasps with railgun then ur a railgun king, or heal 5000 tanks with isida, then ur a isida god, or something like that. Ok thats no "daily" challenge any more but i think its not bad

 

But i am very unhappy that the daily challenges replace the daily gifts. Somebodys already written, but itll be nice if we can chose if we take challenge or gift.

 I agree,

 

With the above, this "Change" looks like a method to eliminate the "guaranteed"daily free gifts and the few crystals occasionally gotten that way. 

 

And yea, players will have to become flag-stealers , kill-stealers, etc, every day, every battle. It will kill teams in many battles, and team-work in all.

 

"To hell with team work , I need so-and-so to get a/this/that/the other  bonus"

 

And some of these "quests" will be things that totally conflict with peoples game styles and also the good equipment they BOUGHT and are using, forcing them to buy more equipment to even try, or good-bye bonus.

 

"Go capture a flag, better yet 5 , with a Mammoth."  LOL  :rolleyes:

 

 Yep, looks like they will make everyone here a 'Buyer" , the minimum equipment you will need to get many of these new bonuses; playing maps, and strategies you don't know how/want to play, will ensure that, IMO. 

 

Good bye Free Players, I spend cash,  $24 in 5 months :D

 

This change , as part of the new Vid-log , might deserve a new thread so people see it. Many people don't watch the LOGs and this topic has an old first post date.

Just made a new topic about it.

Since when did devs use your version anyway?

 

Sure, the idea is the same, but they won't use all your rules and versions specifications.

"Yoshioka" is in Japanese?! Then is your name in English "Yoshi"!?

Will the Daily Missions let us get more supplies and crystals or the same amount as we get with the current daily gifts?

There was a player called "Yoshi1" that used to play this game 3 years ago,he was the best player ever,had his garage all sold out,even paints....

Man I miss the guy :c

i have this bad feeling that battles are going to be affected by people just looking to complete their own little tasks for the day, like gold box hunters, it just going to be a nuisance. if it was going to be on top of the daily rewards it may have crept past my nose  but in place of daily rewards, it just smells bad.

Yep! People would drug for flags. Plus, it would make them play more even if they don't really want to and people might get sad and frustrated on not being able to get the prize.

Not so, maybe for inactive players, but it is pointless just targeting certian tanks just to abuse the tasks, its only one daily task and most of them people will recieve will vary vastly from eachother, it would be very difficult to do

 

 

Anyway, personally this is not good for inactive players who log in to collect gifts and go, but if they can recieve stuff for free if they do not log in for 5 days for example it would be good

It might make battles even more competitive, but remember the tasks will vary different form each other

oh ok. I thought that when you said something like "I'm from Super Mario", I was shocked :blink: until you said that Yoshiada was your real name and you told me that History was your nickname (I hate this stupid sour correction , I tried to say Yoshi but it replaced with History!! :angry: ).

Hope Yoshi1 has the same password as mine :lol:

Would the "Welcome Back Gift", for absenting over 30 days, still available after the Daily Gift is replaced by the Daily Mission. Do we need to do a "Welcome Back Mission" to get it?

Something like spending 20 drugs to complete the daily mission to received 15 drugs back would happen (example based on a Master Sargent rank and each drug has equal value of 50 crystals).

I have no idea how it would be arranged but I just came up with the following case of two tankers with the same rank:

 

Tanker A daily mission - destroy 3 Mammoth (say, M0 with around 180 health each)

Tanker B daily mission - destroy 6 Hornet (say, M0 with around 90 health each)

(please do not argue the exact health of the two hulls, they are just reasonable/possible values for this example)

 

It sounds pretty fair because both tankers, in the same rank, need to take out (destroy) around the same amount of enemy health in the daily mission. However, think about these:

 

1) it is definitely many more Hornet running around the battles than Mammoth; it is much easier to find 6 Hornet then 3 Mammoth.

2) usually it is required quite a relatively more hits and longer time to destroy a Mammoth; the last hit/moment that destroys the Mammoth might not come from Tanker A, if there are multiple tankers shooting the same Mammoth at the same time. It is much easier to destroy (I mean shooting the destroying last shot) a Hornet than a Mammoth.

 

At the end, Player B may complete the daily mission in less than 30 min and receive the gift. On the other hand, Player A spends 3 hours to look for and destroy (shooting the destroying last shot) the third mammoth; however, it is already 2 am and Player A has to give up and go to bed.

Did u believed that i'm from Super Mario? I mean, that i ran out of a nintendoDS and started my live new in this world and found TO? And that im a dinosour? :lol: okay joke beside, sry but I didnt understand the part u said something about history...what d you mean with that?

very true and you have to wonder if Tanker A will care more about his teams flag being taken or making sure he notches up his own daily task, the ones playing purely to meet the requirements, not trying to help their team win.
