Discussing about something that requires serious effort to implement

seems like a waste of time to me, so I won't even delve into this subject.

Still, I will say this: This topic wouldn't even be opened for discussion if

other games haven't already implemented it, Heartstone most notably...

All hail Alternativa, the Blizzard wannabe's...

This is a topic made for an Idea or Suggestion,I think you are on the wrong topic for challenges...

You don't like effort from a game and you don't want to delve into this subject? Yet you take the time to post a negative comment....Haven't you seen VLOG 37 where they said they were going to implent this in the future?

Dude,my original post about this was 16 feb 2014,and this was created 23 august 2014 .-.

I am open for constructive criticism, but not this kind of criticism that doesn't show what can be done better...

Leave this topic and continue playing your panda game pls

It's not "still" on and it never was. The Daily Challenges system will be added to the game in the future and will replace the Daily Reward that you currently get when you log into the game.

This is why i don't think daily missions will work, even though it is a good idea. What happens if i do not want to play ctf or if i can't find any specific hulls to kill within my rank? To add there needs to be some sort of option added to what type of missions i receive, therefore it will be fairer

As a matter of fact, I have seen the VLOG, because unlike many others who play the game

just to play the game, I do my research and I'm already subbed to the TankiOnlineEN on

Youtube so I can keep up.

Yes, I do like it when somebody makes an effort to improve a game, but I don't like it when

that effort is CLEARLY going into the wrong place. There are much more pressing matters to

deal with than implementing a daily supply award system when that system already exists.

Personally, my priority would be improving the UI and the developers approach to the UGC,

and generally improve the helpdesk, because those are Tanki's most obvious weakpoints and

nobody can say otherwise. I saw the topic even before the VLOG, but decided not to comment

until it became obvious that people started giving it a praise that it clearly doesn't deserve...

Constructive criticism can be harsh, you just have to deal with it... praising the game is not

the only way to help it, sometimes you have to give it some "tough love" and smack it properly

every once in a while to keep it in line... because frankly, everybody deserves to sober up

after spending a little bit too much time in wonderland...

If you want to plant sunflowers in your garden, you have to clear out the weed first, and by

the looks of things, the Tanki devs haven't even purchased any weed-b-gone or started

sharpening their scissors...

Isn't this what you are saying more about the game itself then my suggestion? And why wait with posting opinion? It just seems like you're more complaining about the game itself then my suggestion .-.

If you want TO to change, create a topic yourself about it

Also give suggestions instead of only poiting out the bad things xD

BTW here is a topic where you can complain about the game

http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=250343 Searched it just for you 0:

Ok, let me start providing answers, one by one.

1.)

In a way, that is what I'm trying to say, it seems that most of those who can

influence the game have their priorities mixed up, devoting great attention to

things that are minor and downright ignoring what is more important.

In my oppinion, aestetics are appealing and therefore important, but core

mechanics are absolutely vital and deserve to be higher on the priority list.

Daily challenges are not vital for the game to function properly, dealing with

balancing is, for example, that's why some of us find it infuriating that the

developers are not paying enough attention to the things that we think should

be prioritized. Discussing about it amongst ourselves doesn't seem to be helping,

you can check the topics about it yourself, we end up spinning around in circles

because nobody from the top is willing to provide any definitive answer to steer

the topic properly.

Just for example, the major thing most of us complain around here are the

drugs, and the fact that the game has become obvious pay-to-play, since

we don't have any effective way to create battles to completely remove

them... Pro passes are maybe a way, but those of us too low or "too poor"

to obtain them can only dream about them...

Also, a major issue is the overabundance of multi's in the game, most other

games tend to take this thing very seriously, but Tanki Online... nah, why bother...

In it's peak, World of Warcraft had 12.5 million active players, yet Tanki

apparently had 42 million last year and it doesn't even get a footnote in

MMO history... Call me crazy but something doesn't fit there...

http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=191010

2.)

I take my forums very seriously, so I don't tend to engage a discussion

unless I think I can provide at least some contribution. Flaming is pointless

and I personally despise it, during my time on a certain mmo game I was a

forum moderator just because of the fact that I promised to the server owner,

and then actively resolved the flaming issue by stamping anyone who got out

of line with a weekly bann from the forum. Back then I didn't have a life, so I had

all the time in the world to stick around the forum to brush up on EVERYTHING

the community would rant about...

If you pay attention to my posts, you will see that all of them are edited.

So, when I decide to say something on a forum, I check my own words

several times and properly re-allign them to avoid causing any... sorry,

much inconvenience... and to make sure to get my point across properly...

3.)

The responce to that statement is covered in section1, paragraph1.

4.)

Suggestions, like these... and others:

I'm just listing those I started, I don't have the time at the moment

to rummage through all of my posts and provide all the links...

5.)

Complaining in the general complaint topic? Like a complaint book?

Sorry, but that one is just a fairy tale, nobody ever bothers to read those,

except if you are running a restaurant and a health inspector has an extremely

moody day and decides to see if any of your customers complained about food

poisoning or inproper service recently... Yea, restaurants have them only

because the law forces them to, not because they care about feedback that

much... sorry to burst that bubble...

Case and point, with all the issues it's having over the years, it's a miracle

Tanki's complaint topic is currently only 8 pages long... maybe all the other

complaints have their own topics...

In  a post above, you were talking about the HelpDesk and that it wasn't "helpfull" enough or fast, but more people costs more money and TO gets money from the players, and that's not an easy thing. Also they aren't working on Daily Challenges atm,why am I so sure about this? Because a few weeks ago I pm'd Hazel-Rah(game designer) to check out my topic when it was still bold and cold xD and he said that he likes the idea and devs have thought about it,but not in the distant future.

You've got Cooldowns? What else do you need? This game and drugs are all about skills now, using them has become different.

There are about 50/60 million players, but they are not all active, man seriously you're confusing some numbers here. There are only about 100K active players on this game(EN+RU+DE,not counting Chinese and Brazillian version) at very active moments,at some special events only about 120K...

Can you also stop going to the next line in the middle of the page? It's really annoying and takes up way more space then required...

It's done for psychological reasons:

1.)

Forming "text walls" is avoided, because the text doesn't

look spread all over the place.

2.)

It is less tiring because you only have to move your eyes and

not your head while reading the lines, because they aren't too long.

3.)

Forming decent paragraphs clearly shows where one thought

stops and another one begins.

In the end, it is deliberately done to encourage you to read

everything rather than just skimm through it by reading the

first two sentances, then the next two sentances first time

you see a paragraph, and the last three sentances of the post.

=====================================

But maybe you should get back to the topic of Daily challenges.

Don't get me wrong, I don't hate the idea, but considering how

many things with higher priority are left unattended...

If they decide to implement it soon enough, I honestly don't

know what the point would be. It would be as if doing a brand

new paintjob on your car while your engine is leaking fluids.

Fix the mechanics, then deal with the aestetics.

Why did I decide to comment on the subject: probably

because I'm one of those few that noticed that the devs

didn't take the idea from their own forum, but rather after

they saw it function elsewhere... *cough *cough....

Trust me,I'll read everything, even if you don't write like you do right now.

But this idea will not be for the distant future,as you can see here:

OxXGfNR.jpg

And who said that the people "elsewhere" also didn't 'find it" somewhere else? I mean like, there are no original things because it has always been done by someone else first.

No news about this update from the devs...so far.

Yes,a good thing, devs are not focusing on this idea but rather on more important stuff 0:

The thing is that you can go into a battle with your friends and EASILY complete even the hardest challenges...

That still involves having friends, who are willing to help you and creating an organised battle where you help each other complete daily challenges. If you have a good team of friends, then yes - it will be easier than trying to complete the challenges on your own, but the difficulty is in getting your friends to help you. If anything, this update will help build new friendships and encourage players to work together  ;)
