I really like the Apple software, it's easy to use and it has a nice feel to it. The only thing about it is that a lot of things are made exclusively for Windows, mostly games, and my Mac can't run a lot of things as a result. So, given the choice, I'd probably reluctantly choose Windows.

I've built my own pc a while ago; I love the fact that windows is game-friendly and so customizable.

Apple is more stable when it comes to performance though... I believe that's why the prizes don't drop as fast as windows computers.

It all depends on how you use the computer, Me and my family just use it once in a while to surf the web, check weather etc. im the only one that uses it for any type of game, Tanki Online, we are casual at-home computer users, so Apple would be what would fit our style more, but for splitter point^^ and many others, they spend a bit more time on the computer and use it for maybe work, programming, etc. etc. more techincal stuff.

The reason why I think Microsoft is good is because think of a laptop for example. If you buy an Apple(Macbook) and get a virus, you would have the spend a lot of money buying a whole new laptop. But if you take the Microsoft(PC) and get a virus, you can still save your money and just buy a part of the laptop, not the whole thing. :)
