What browser do you use for playing tanki?

I heard loads of good comments about Google Chrome so I decided to try it out.

It worked pretty cool for me. All websites were working fast and cool, especially the forum was lovely :P

When it comes to Tanki, it actually lagged a lot on Chrome. I was pretty shocked by this response, I tried to turn off all graphics, everything but it was still lagging in between.

I also tried Mozilla Firefox and Opera. Not too impressive.

I tried the Standalone player few weeks ago, it didn't work for me. Perhaps my graphics are not meeting the requirements of it.

In the end, I tried Internet Explorer. It was the best I've seen till now! Many people might think it's old fashion, useless, errored, etc but honestly it was amazing. I played Tanki on it, the gameplay was awesome! No lags at all, no nothing. Smoothly and efficiently functioning. I was quite impressed, I updated it to 11 and currently I'm having IE 11.

I still do all other work on Chrome. I only play the game on IE, rest all is left to Chrome. Pretty shocking to me! :)

That gets some learning to me. For a lot of computers, Chrome is good, but for some components, drivers, OS's, etc. something just works better. Also, IE is very open (you can do anything you want to it, just to know how) and it's very underestimated. Good for you that you found something good.

You should add maxthon browser, My friends use it a lot. But I think there is a lot of viruses in it...

I use the standalone flashplayer, which is quite good with the server switching system. It makes my FPS go higher and I get less lag as well as smoother gameplay.

I used to play with chrome it kinda lagged on it but then i friend told me about opera then i tried that for a day and everything works smooth and no lags unlike on chrome i cant have dynamic coz it then lags  :)  :)  :)  :)  :)  :)

Two years of tanki online. The best choice is firefox! No bug, no lag, no crash! Never!! Don't forget to update your flash player... Nothing more...

You dont even have to install.....

just download→open→start playing tanki!!

And no..... its not standalone flash...... -_-

 

Btw this browser was extremely hard to get..... so i have stored it on no less than 5 cloud storages :D

you guys using firefox. if you have a 64 bit puter i suggest moving to waterfox. its a firefox variant specially designed for 64 bit machines. going forward there is also a 64 bit unity add on too. the increase in performance is highly noticeable!
