Idea for a more creative parkour contest than just getting somewhere. You could give different limitations every time, like use or don't use some equipment, set maximum amount of players participating in the trick, define minimal distance from the building so players don't make too small jumps... Could also just say that the smallest team to reach some place wins, or the team that makes the biggest jump, or the team that uses the least popular parkour equipment without going down to the level of ramps and tank towers...

Also could give special challenges like start on a roof of a house in Dusseldorf and start jumping between roofs without going down to the ground, and try using as many different tricks as you can.

You could also give players a specific situation with a screenshot, and challenge players to do something specific without bringing any new tanks or changing equipment.

Example:

JHzDuLA.jpg

(imagine a Viking-Ricochet standing the little house and a Wasp-Thunder standing up there on the right)

Mission:

Get the Wasp-Thunder to stand on top of the Viking on the house.

This is a bad example because in that case the Wasp can just drive with nitro, but that's just an example. The point is to have creative solutions, like if the Wasp had no space to accelerate the best solution would be for the Wasp to stand on the very edge and then the Viking will shoot the cliff so the rico will bounce up and lift the edge of the Wasp, then the wasp will shoot down with thunder and flies to the house. Like in this video but with the rico standing on the house.

The team that finds the best solution, or if more than one team chose the most creative solution then the one who performed best in the parkour, wins.

That's all just brain storming and some of these ideas are probably not so good because you can't expect from the community to work too hard on some of these things, but I hope some of these are good :)

I have an idea for a Christmas contest.

You could have people make "dancing lights"

example:

with tanks.

They could use isidas, railguns, shaft scopes, Twins, etc. Anything they can think of to make the coolest dancing Christmas lights.

btw if you make parkour contests and need judges, I would love to be one ^_^

(in case u don't know, I'm a very experienced parkourist and I understand very well the complexity, creativity and difficulty of parkour tricks, you can search my nickname on YT or watch this video if you want to be sure)

^ I know mate, it's coming. Look out ;) However, you as a judge? I would have to confirm that with the admins.

Would love an report as "How To Excel In:Rio".

Thanks

EDIT: I don't think this will happen anytime soon, since a guide on Rio was already written by , my fellow Reporter recently. However, we can do some other great maps. Do you like another map?

Tanki's turrets are sometimes existing weapons and sometimes more science fiction weapons - but they all have their story and scientific explanations. The description of turrets in the garage was once explaining the scientific idea behind each one of these science fiction turrets. They changed it, sadly, but I remember what they said about a few of the turrets. For example, the idea of Isida is sending nano robots through electric current to disassemble the enemy and bring back materials to repair yourself. Sounds very much like science fiction, right? Here's another one, Railgun: This one doesn't use gunpowder to shoot it's projectiles, and no it's not a powerful laser. Railgun uses magnetic rails to accelerate it's projectiles. It's like using the power of a few tens of lightning bolts just to send one little projectile to fly.

Sometimes fiction turns into science, and just recently (a few weeks ago) in Russia, they announced they created Railgun. Railgun is a real life thing now!! It doesn't look like the Railgun in the game, and it's not mobile yet since it's batteries weight a few tons, but Railgun's scientific idea was implemented in real life! And it's real life name is Railgun too btw.

Here's a video of it with some explanation (in Russian)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_KpFaSLrYRw

Could be fun if you made an article talking about all turrets' scientific concepts and announced about Railgun becoming reality :)

But they think of using it more for launching things into space and defending from meteors than as a weapon, since it's not mobile.

The USA has been testing railguns and lasers for decades now, but anyway, I like that sort of Idea for articles, maybe make it into a story style thing, like story behind the paints (but actually finish it)

He did not say that the USA haven't already tried it or not, he said that Russia have just recently tried it. Also, stories behind paints would be useless, all paints are just their to give you camoflague and to make you look good whereas the turrets are inspirations from real-life existing turrets. This idea was started with my "science behind" articles back in AWC. I can check with goldy for permission to do this article though.
