haha that's what I was doing to stay the strongest player at my rank :P

 

Not gaining EXP at all

• Contests
• Events (like mine hunts)
• Gold rains
• Missions of collecting boxes
• Start another acc that you invited using the referral link so your main acc will gain crystals when the other acc ranks up
• And finally - you can buy crystals, but I guess that's not something you are willing to do if you are asking this question.

Maximize crystals/EXP ratio when gaining EXP

• Play with the stronger team to make sure you take a bigger part of the fund
• Join from the start so you can get to 1st place
• Play high-fund battles like Polygon CP, but I wouldn't recommend you to play a different game mode if you don't really enjoy it.

 

Very long battles

• Staying till the end of a battle that lasts many hours (enough to make sure no one else will stay for so long) will give you some good 80%+ of the battle fund, which means you don't have to worry about the amount of EXP you gain cause you'll get paid well for it.
• Better to do it when you have premium account or a mission with premium reward so you can claim it near the end of the battle and double your battle fund.

the people that behave a little like bf/gf are just good friends that just happen to be of different gender, so your real question should be how to make really good friends in tanki, which I think just happens naturally if you find someone you really love and enjoy spending your time with him
