What to buy? What to use?

So, like a lot of people, I have an eventual goal of M2/M2 combination. I will probably M2 hornet because it is cheap speed (I have M1 in this account). I need to choose a weapon.Shaft is out for obvious reasons. Rico has been nerfed and hornet moves around too much under recoil. I have M1 flame (I got it on sale). Smoky and freeze aren't my thing. I am mostly considering Rail, Thunder, and Isida. So my question really is: Do you Rail/Thunder/Hornet users win games much (without drugging like crazy)? And what fields do you play? And out of those three guns, which do you reccommend and why? How do Rail and Thunder stand at M2 relative to other guns? Looking forward to your answers.

Depends what your style is. I myself got M1 Twins. Bad move- should've went for Rail. You know an M1 Rail with 2X power can 1shot an M1 Mammoth? It has unlimited range too.So it's pretty sweet. Thunder can Splash damage. If you tend to hang around in the back and like helping teammates, then Isida maybe. If you like kill-stealing or guerilla tactics. Maybe Rail. But Rail has Recoil. Between Rail and Thunder, it depends. Do you like Splash damage? Or do you like spilling out a hefty sum of damage all at once with unlimited range? Some people reach Mid-life crisis. Well looks like I've met mine in Tanki. Warrant Officer 5 is kind of in the middle in ranks, right? LOL! :ph34r: Well anyways, I'm lost. :o I have 2011 crystals currently, and I possess these weapons: M0 Smokey, M1 Firebird :) , M1 Twins :D , M0 Railgun, M0 Thunder, M0 Freeze, M0 Shaft, M0 Isida, M0 Ricochet./ My Hulls: M1 Wasp :D , M0 Hunter, M0 Titan, M0 Dictator, M0 Hornet, M1 Mammoth, and M0 Viking. My Paints: Green, Red, Blue, Black, White,Orange, Flora, Marine, Swamp, Forest, Metallic, Lava, Lead, and Dragon. Currently I possess no drugs.

What would you do?

You didn't exactly give me any details to work with, but I can tell you what it's like from my point of view since I still have it on M1.

It's an ok Weapon for your Rank at the moment, and it'll do you some good until you start beating on the people you have stronger Hulls/Guns. Eventually it'll be ineffective, especially against paints that have Thunder protection. What I usually do is just Drug all day long and I don't really have much of an issue, but some people find Drugging as being a waste, but that's their opinion. Also you'll need a nicely armored Tank to help you out. Hornet, not the best option, Titan, ok. Mammoth, perfect(my perspective). Viking, good. And whenever you get the chance to upgrade, upgrade the Guns first, then the Hull comes next. You shouldn't worry about Paints right now, since a lot of people up until First Lieutenant don't have High M Thunders. Good luck and Happy Tank Hunting :)

silence is not a place for thunder .. its for freeze, isida, twins, firebird and shaft, it can be of thunder only when u play on top stage

I currently own M1 Mammoth/Wasp/Hunter and M1 Isida/Smoky/Freeze/Shaft and my maps of choice are Silence, Kungur, Combe, Crash and possibly Monte Carlo.

 

I love speed, I've sort of fallen in love with it. Hunter and Wasp are my favorites by far, though I hate being killed in 1 shot by drugging thunders and railguns. I'm starting to see that wasp simply doesnt have enough health. Mammoth is horrifyingly slow... I kinda dont like it. So Hunter for high kill amounts? Or is it bad because you cant peek from behind walls well since the turret sits in the middle of the tank? And which weapon is best for quickly acquiring kills? (For high points)

 

I run Shaft usually, its done me quite well esp. with double power. Smoky is my next favorite, and probably Isida after that. Close range weapons seem incredibly hard to get alot of kills with though, if you're not drugging alot or if the map isnt tiny. P.S.... I only have 9k crystals atm. Thanks in advance! *Keep in mind - Ill never make it to M3 upgrades, so please focus on M1/M2 upgrades only. M2 will be my end-game set.

The best gun till m2 is thunder but not for m3 .. but since u don't have it.. and wow u have hunter m1 "though viking is much better since u r not going for m3" that can work pretty fine with isida and freeze m1 .. when we play its not just to win, mammoth just makes u lose your nerves and u wont enjoy the game even if u win.. u r gona sweat a lot lol pal use hunter .. so focus on your hunter m1 its of 150 armor compared to 200 just for mammoth and to just 95 of wasp m1 .. and don't forget u can with hunter or wasp get much more easier to the bonus falling drugs.. that brings u great advantage .. with hunter or wasp use either isida or freeze, or smokey .. Shaft is just with mammoth m1 no need to tell u but it doesn't work fine with most maps, u know how does it feel when u r static "camping", trying to snipe, and u don't know there is an isida or a freeze behind! that really hurts, beside u will be just sitting as an observer, sharing in no action, u r the guardian that your team will appreciate, but u wont get into bonuses .. u just watch them take it all .. did u ever get rank 1 with shaft and if it happens, its only when u r drugging, or you will be playing in one of those maps that suits just railgun and shaft.. that barely can get good battle funds even if the winner without drugging .. cuz the kill rate is gona be too slow

Hmm... well, if you're a Sniper, your problems will probably roam around Freeze, Thunder, and Rail. But at your rank you won't need so much protection since all you'll be encountering will be just M0's. If you upgrade Smoky, then you'll be looking at getting a paint with some Thunder, Freeze, and maybe Twins Protection.

It depends. I use M1 Wasp. It's a good tank for runners and speeders. It can take one for the team like getting hit with Shaft while other tanks can move in, or hit a Mine on purpose. But it's not very stable. Do NOT use M1 Twins with it. LOL! It depends what gun you use. I hear M1 Thunder is pretty good with it- if you know how to use it correctly. So it depends, if you prefer more kills then get Hornet. But if you like speed and don't give much for armor and stability, then Wasp. Choose accordingly to what gun you use also.
