Hello! Welcome to Tanki Online! I look like a Nublet, but I've got a main account. He got banned for 150 hours however.

As others will say: Tanki Rule #1- Weapons First!

With a stronger weapon, you will be able to destroy other tanks with ease. Titan M1 is pretty cheap compared to weapons, so I'd say earn the Tank later on. Besides, a stronger turret will earn you more crystals, since you said that you won't be able to afford both Hull and Gun at once.

Now onto the choice. Twins M1 or Railgun M1? I have bought Twins M1, so I can tell you much about them. If you use M0 Twins, you know how fast it can fire. Imagine each pellet inflicting at least 10 damage! Amazing right?! Well too bad. If you have a bad internet connection, do not aim for that one. It will take forever to kill anyone. Furthermore, remember the Recoil. If you use Wasp, do not get Twins M1. It is absolutely terrible. Hornet is a tad bit better, but if used well can be deadly. I'd say the best hull for it would be Dictator or Viking- since you can actually move with those two. Titan and mammoth would be your choice if you do not mind being confined to one spot due to the lack of speed. It only reaches up to 54 Meters however. So you'll probably be playing in Small-Medium maps. If you play Large maps, then Mammoth and Titan wouldn't fit quite well in those.

Railgun- This is proabably one of the best guns for anyone really. Its range is unlimited, and the damage is great! It can be latched onto any kind of tank. I've seen Wasps and Mammoths, and everything in between use these guns! You'll be able to quick snipe and all. Unlike Twins, it pours out high damage with every shot. This gun is great in any map. I'm not kidding. All you need to do is have some practice with it. Invent your own strategies with it. It really is a fun weapon- not to mention deadly. However, the main problem is its reload. However, it's not as bad as you'd think. I've been shot down so many times with Rail. It really is a good gun.

In my opinion, take Railgun. However, June 4th is Tanki's Birthday! There may be sales! Who knows?! I'd say you wait until then. If there is a sale, well good for you! You'll save some crystals. If not, then look on the bright side, you've probably saved enough crystals to buy more than just the gun! Besides, your point of view about guns may have changed, and you might even want to go for Thunder instead! Furthermore, June is still a month+ away, so if there is a sale, you'll probably be able to purchase more than just a gun with your crystals.

I have Cedar and I really like it. I guess it depends on what weapons annoy you the most. If Thunders kill you a lot, Cedar is a good choice. If not, then go for Tundra.

Ricochet is very underestimated since it's been nerved. It still haas good power,

but keep in mind it's hard to handle. The paints are ok, but remember you can't wear them at the same time.

And the price differ is minimal.

I don't see how Rico is being underestimated, people mostly use it to play around with. And I've noticed a lot of people complain about the limit of shots, less power and whatnot about it... before the RB, ok yeah it was a good gun, now it's just... :mellow:

I don't see a need to PM you when I can simply answer the question here, but to give you some advice, I would shoot for Twins or Isida, Isida is a great help when it comes to earning crystals easily, It's powerful, and it's cheap. Twins may be expensive on the Upgrades, but it's worth it. It's easy to hold off enemy forces by simply annoying them with limitless fire power, and they've have second thoughts before making an encounter... Railgun is a decent weapon, but I personally wouldn't advise using it, because it's got it's own problems... so, which ever one you think is best for you, move forward with it. :) Edited April 24, 2013 by Dragon-Judgement

Anyways, I stuck around with Twins and Mammoth both M1 and I'm really getting the hang of it! Now the question is, which would you people go for? M1 Rail or M1 Dictator? I'm waiting for June 4th. Lol. No sale? Oh well, I'll probably have enough crystals anyway.

Mammoth with Railgun would probably make you a camper, and if you use your Wasp, will you be steady enough? I'd first buy Dicatator and than have a look of what you like more, to have later on.

Yup. I've already tried Rail with Wasp. It's pretty good- since I already know how to maneuver wasp. Alright thanks for the suggestion!

No doubt, dictator is awful. I would take M0 Viking over M3 Dictator. But, why put a Isida on such a slow hull unless you're going to drug? Get M2 Hornet instead of either.

Use hornet m0 with isida m1, firebird, or smokey. Save up for hornet m1, which is not very expensive. By the time you get hornet m1, you should be still a warrant five. Then you should get m2 isida.

M3 Dictator is obviously stronger than Viking. Honestly, alot of people use it too. And it's stable at the M3 stage, and fast too. A good candidate for Isida use. Better than Viking and Hornet. Edited April 25, 2013 by Dragon-Judgement

If you don't mind having less kills, or learn to kill-steal a lot, in order to get on top, it's a better choice to first upgrade your hull.

I use Hornet/Railgun and I want my Hornet to M2 as fast as possible before I even think of upgrading my Rail M1.

I think, in your case it's better to buy Hunter M2 first.

For Isida, stay close to your team. Healing them constantly can get you into first place rather quickly and effeciently. Of course you'll suffer a few deaths from the opposing team if they manage to get through, but make sure you've got a strong tank to back you up ;)

Currently, Rustle can get me trough most situattions.

Though I want a better paint in future when I hit Marshal.

 

I use a smoky M2 with Wasp M2 at the moment, and I play a lot in Iran and kungur maps.

I also love Sandbox.

 

But I don't really know what kind of paint would be good for those maps.

I was thinking about Progidi, since rails are often used in Iran and especially Kungur.

Thunders pick me off pretty quick aswell since I'm a Wasp.

 

This also means I don't really have to worry about a freeze, I can outrun them in most cases.

But I see smoky's more and more now. That may be, because I'm one myself aswell.

Progidi, sadly offers no protection against Smoky.

 

And I'm not sure wheter to go with Progidi in future, or something else.

Any suggestions?
