If i buy isida protection paint and railgun protection paint,does it help you a bit? Both of the weapons are already too overpowered so is it worth the crystals?

The Isida is deals constant damage, so protection is worth it. Railgun will leave you missing a big chunk of your health, but you'll survive with Paint. I'd say 10% of both is pretty good. Yes, it is worth it in one paint. However, alternating between two different paints I find difficult. --------So say you get a paint with 10% isida protection. 10 hits from an Isida, and it means you've blocked the damage of one DPS of Isida. Most other paints have18%+ though, so it's pretty good. Of course nobody will survive 10+ Railgun shots. Lol! But it helps if you don't want to get 1-hit KO'd. Thanks but to be honest,i never encounter an isida fight.But if there's an isida coming....i just go backwards with hornet and shoot with thunder or railgun.But if i reach to warrant officer 1.I got two choices,alien and dirty.

 

[Opinions on Dirty] I find dirty to be very useful because its protection for shaft is pretty impressive.And because i play large maps such as kungur and serpuhov.

 

[Opinions on Alien] It is also a good paint but i could easily escape its attacks on me by moving backwards.A non-skilled isida will just die in about 10 seconds or more.But if it is a skilled isida then i found myself a bit hard to escape because most of the newbies had wasp M1 and isida M1 and they are too fast! So even if i had nitro on,i will just die.....Sometimes,i seen a lot of isida in every silence map and its driving me crazy!

 

[Opinions on Tundra] It is unlock at warrant officer 4,by then there's a lot of railgun M1s and Hornet M1s/Wasp M1s.So they could easily kill me in one or two shots even it protects from railgun by 30%.I mainly used hornet and not wasp because i get flipped over like 10 times by the enemies and my own team mates -_-.But hunter is unlocked at Warrant officer 4 and its a good thing for me :) If i used that which i probably will :P maybe 3 shots? So i still don't know if these paints are useful to me.

Get protection for ranged weapons but not for shaft. The paint will become pretty useless as you start to rank.

Isida protection in my opinion is not needed unless you're a freeze or firebird and maybe also for isida

Get protection for thunder. m0 thunder is the best gun in the lower ranks so potection against it is necessary

You seem to know what to do when an Isida is around. If you can't fight it off, then just jump off a cliff. Anyways, is it me, or has there been a boom in the population of Shaft users recently? I keep seeing M2 Shafts now. Lol! Well anyways, since you know how to deal with an Isida, and you mention that you rarely see it, then I doubt Isida protection will give you a result equal to Crystals spent. So now it comes down to Railgun or Shaft? Dirty paint has higher Shaft protection while Tundra has a higher Railgun protection, so the question is, which one do you have more trouble with? Like I've said, Railgun will leave you dying, but you'll still survive.

So now it comes down to Railgun or Shaft? Dirty paint has higher Shaft protection while Tundra has a higher Railgun protection, so the question is, which one do you have more trouble with? Like I've said, Railgun will leave you dying, but you'll still survive.

Mostly i get killed by shafts more then railguns at my rank.But at a higher ranks,shafts are pretty close to non existed! But at warrant officers ranks.Railguns and shafts everywhere so both shafts and railguns.

 

Here are the ranks that are filled with shafts and railguns.

 

Shafts: Corporal to Warrant Officer 5. M2s shafts are seen quite a lot by the witnesses such as the one above me so i can't make an answer.

 

Railguns: Private to every single rank till generalissimo.

I used freeze and i know freeze can out range isida.So no protection needed :)

I already have a thunder protection paint and i already know that there are a lot thunders because i have faced them a lot but i didn't go out of the battle alive!

Thunder protection is key that's why. When you get higher ranked, thunder protection paints become a lot better.

Even though you use freeze, in some situations, you'll have to come face to face with one and can't rely on your freeze to help you get away. Trust me, I use zebra on my other acc with m2 freeze m1 hornet and I still get killed

Thunder protection is key that's why. When you get higher ranked, thunder protection paints become a lot better.

To answer your question: Yes, Carbon, with its 20% Smoky protection is quite good, as on higher modifications, Smoky is very powerful. 20% makes a big difference than.

When you use freeze to defend, there's sometimes no other choice than to stand and fight and since your weapon is a dps weapon rather than a ranged weapon, the lilkelyhood is that an isida will drug and attack your flag and by then, even nitro won't save you. That's why having isida protection is important fro firebird and freeze

Just saying, it's useful. If you need paint protection, railgun, thunder and isida protection are your main priorities. Plus this isida protection isn't just for ctf, it is also for in general as isidas are very common

Ermgawd, Freeze, Everywhere! Well anyways, that combo is pretty Overpowered and thus will suit you will if you want some fast/cheap wins- especially on Drugs. You could probably hold your own against 2+ people. I did that in Combe against 2 M2-Combo druggers. I had M0 Freeze. Lol! There's an alternative however. When Micro-upgrades come out, you can micro-upgrade Ricochet's Shots per Second. Just a suggestion. If you're sick of Rico, then I guess Freeze. However, if we meet in battle, don't shoot me. Lool

I'm a Railgunner, and although I don't want anymore people wearing this paint, you should wear Forester. I use it and people don't notice me well in big maps. Forester + Fast wasp + Big map + Many trees = Ninja. Same thing goes for Hornet.

 

No M2 Hull yet? Well that's a downer. If you're alright with the speed, then I guess M2 Mammoth would be an ideal choice. I've seen those people before at Silence. The big guys with Rustle + M2 Mammy + M2 Twins on drugs. We had two on our team, and we destroyed the other team. They say Twins doesn't get fun until M2. In higher ranks, many have Thunder protection paints, so might want to think about that. Furthermore, remember that Twins and Thunder are both very different weapons. With Twins, in my opinion you won't have much Freedom of battling since your attacks only go in a straight line, and you can't actually do the Jump N' Run tactic where you pop out from behind the walls- unlike Thunder. So with Twins on a mammoth, you'll be taking in a big amount of damage.-----------Well, unless you kill them first. Lol! If you want more information on M2 Mammy+M2 Twins, ask Icerugby. I think he uses that combo along with Rustle. Well anyways, I think Thunder would be the more flexible and creative weapon where you'll be able to come up with different tactics or strategies whereas with Twins you'll have to be some kind of Dominator and Blitz-Krieg the whole entire Battle-field- meaning you'll be in the Front Lines, since Twin's attacks can't go through tanks.
