Are there many people with paints that have big protection against Railgun in the higher ranks? I'm not talking about Forester. I mean as in Digital or that other paint which has close to 40-50% Railgun protection.

I currently have m2 dict and m2 mammoth. Like I said, im gna get m3 isida first before getting anything else. The Micro-upgrades might make a difference but I'm planning to upgrade everything to m3 before micro upgrading it so I don't waste any crystals. Usually, I struggle against thunders and freezes so thunder protection would help quite a lot but neither do I have a quick hull.

Which is more important, the quick hull or the paint protection?

Yep, Prodigy. That's the name of it. I'm wondering about if those kinds of paints are common in the upper-ranks.

It can go both ways actually- varying on how you get to the Micro-upgraded item and your views. And shouldn't you ask this in the other topic?

 

1. When you Micro-upgrade an item successfully, the cost It will need to achieve the next tier (M# or Modification) will decrease.

 

Example: You have a Firebird M1 and could like to upgrade it unto M2. So you Micro-upgrade it a couple of times. The original cost of the Firebird M2 is 94,600. Since you've Micro-upgraded it however, the cost may be decreased down to 94,000 Crystals etc.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------#2 is confusing, but it's not primary. It's just a theory I had about it. Lol.

2. However, if you're the kind of person who manages finances very closely, then you might want to think about it this way: Micro-upgrades doesn't actually make the next Modification cheaper. Do you know why? Say you attempt to Micro-upgrade the item. However, it fails. There is a chance that you either salvage half the Crystals you spend on that Micro-upgrade, or you lose all of your crystals spent on that one Micro-upgrade. So say you either get half back or lose all your crystals, or get your crystals back in the form of drugs( Still lost all your Crystals). Then add the Crystals lost to the amount of the crystals you've spent on the attempts that worked. After that, see how many Crystals were deducted from the original price since Micro-upgraded equipment cost less to upgrade to the next Modification. There is a chance that the amount of Crystals you've spent on Micro-upgrades exceeds the amount deducted from the original price because you've micro-upgraded and thus you just lost Crystals and in a way, have to spend more to get to the next Tier. ---------------------------------Then again, it could go the other way. If you're lucky, you may get 2 Micro-upgrades for the price of one, or the attempts you made for Micro-upgrades all worked. Lol. Then you're truly cutting down the price and making the next modification cheaper.

 

Hint- Micro-upgrades wear off when upgraded to the next Modification.

Should i get wasp over hornet or over hunter? If i get wasp i only use it on firebird and smoky since it has almost no recoil.With hornet and hunter,i could do with railgun,thunder and smoky.

1. If you find Twins a fun gun to use, play in small-medium battles, then buy Twins M2. (I've seen it used in Kungur before and if you don't mind the speed of Mammoth, then it can also be used there)

 

2. If you like the fast-shooting, One-target, weakened version of Thunder but with a Critical hit, then get Smoky. It has unlimited range, and if you'd like to bet your chance on its Critical then get it.

 

3. If you like Sniping then buy Railgun.

Well both smoky and twins are good with mammy but it depends on which maps u play more.... Do u play in all types (small/medium/large) of maps (smoky) .... Or do u play in small/medium maps (twins) ?? In smaller maps twins is much more effective... Also smoky m2 is better than rail m2

So I guess for him Railgun M2 shouldn't be an option. So range should be the key-factor in his choice then.

Ok ,im not going for rail m2 then. I'play both large and medium maps , but for smoky i need to ranks up and to fight that long with m1 rail... I'll gues i take twins then , and after that smoky.

Railgun is to weak and reload is a bit to long. For smoky i need to rank up twice which takes to long. So i'll go for m2 twins now , after that m2 smoky

Railgun is to weak and reload is a bit to long.

If you focus on one weapon, keep playing with it, and see only positive things of it, it will be best weapon for you. I keep playing with railgun, I have almost never used any of the weapons. Though on test server I hate it.

I'm WO4, and I want to get a new paint sooner or later. I'm currently using Metallic (12% thunder).

I use viking m1 + railgun m1 most of the time.

 

I'm thinking of Corrosion (Thunder 15%, Railgun 10%, Shaft 15%: 34,5k crystals), as it comes with good protection for the three deadliest long range weapons.

So is it a good paint, or should I wait for WO5 to get something else, like Cedar (Isida 5%, Thunder 32%, Smoky 5%: 42.5k crystals)?

Save up for Titan if you want good quality at M2 (it is better at M2 then Mammoth). But for price, go for Mammoth. Viking is good if you want an M3 hull early.

Viking stucks at speed between M2 and M3. It should be speed 7.
