I think I'd like to use Smoky better than Railgun. I'm able to alternate between enemies and still have unlimited range- not to mention I tried out M0 and got 2 critical shots in a row, then got another Critical right after a regular hit. :D So I'm going to try to get M2 Smoky. Should I buy and keep using M1 Smoky, or should I buy FirebirdM2/Railgun M2? If I were to buy a secondary weapon, Firebird or Railgun.

Here's my question: Are there any firebird,freeze and thunders around Major to Generalissimo? Because I'm planning to get jaguar or storm as my short range protection paints.

Yep loads of freeze, thunders... less firebird around but the ones that are there are OP

And to answer your question, DidYouKnowThat, I'd go with Isida and Firebird along with Wasp (I'd say Hornet but you have Wasp M1)

I'd also use Ricochet and Mammoth together. Twins and Mammoth doesn't sound too bad either.

 

 

And parth9jr, Dictator is the hull I'd use but Hornet is second-best imo.

Well since hunter is fast and has Moderate hp it is pretty handy... Not to mention stable since its' center of mass is closer to the ground. It is a good choice. Now for mid-range turrets??? Looking at your rank i think it would be better for you to get a m2 turret fast so choosing between thunder and rail.... It depends on your style of play... Do u like hit-and-run tactics (for rail since the reload rate is slow)? Or do you like delving into the enemy base and start blasting away (thunder)? Thunder is more appropriate for mid-range but bad at too close range and long-range.... Rail is good anywhere except close range

Hm, maybe not; the Hunter M1 upgrade is great for its price (1.6 speed and 60+ HP) but the M2 Hunter upgrade just doesn't seem as worth it. Hunter is a great hull so it won't disappoint you either way but I'd really consider things properly before doing it (when you get the funds and stuffz.)

And as for your other question, none of those turrets M2 are substantially better than it was before apart from, I guess Smoky. But I think you should base it on which turret you use the best.

So i recently bought viking m1 and im saving for either railgun m1 or thunder m1. I bought smoky m1 not to long ago and it was a disappointment and I do not want to make the same mistake again. Smoky simply does not do enough damage. So should I buy m1 rail or m1 thunder. Railgun does a lot of damage but it has a slow reload time. Thunder has splash damage which might be bad considering i like to charge the enemy.

Critical is the main power of smoky.Without it,smoky is nothing.It happens rarely on M0 and M1 but it's random. Edited June 22, 2013 by r_SilverEdge0
