Should I use Thunder or Railgun against opponents with Mammoth?

Best tactic I find is Railgun on a light hull and get up close; approach at speed from the direction they are not looking in, hit the Mammoth on the approach and then drive past them, turning your turret for the second shot while they are still trying to see what happened - especially if they are using Shaft. You should be able to reverse and come down the *other* flank (while they are still looking the wrong way) for a third shot if needed - a suitable protection paint like corrosion helps. "Popping" low-skill mammoth/shaft combinations that way is one of the joys of the game - especially on the Stadium map as you race along the back row where they tend to congregate! Of the guns you list I'd go with Isida - but as icerugby says, it's better to find a gun that fits your style. I prefer firebird to freeze - get 'em with the afterburn even of they get you, and hanging around with Shaft I find dull - but that's me.

You are skilled so you can earn lot of crystals and you'll have 100k crystals for free don't stick with a combo. Get hornet/viking and thunder M1 ;)

It would take forever until colonel with m1 variants, so it's better to have other m2 variant around Lieutenant ranks.

I enjoy all maps, if i want to level up then short maps with close range weapons and if i just want to enjoy the game and get crystals i enjoy long and medium maps with long range weapons

but sometimes i like to do it the other way round

nowadays i'm just thinking about levelling up! :lol:

thats good advice....isida will be pretty much my style...(i've seen a number of gameplay videos of it...its quite cool..) and from my personal experience freeze doesn't damage after you finish firing...unlike firebird....(i dont know above m0 freeze but yea it just slows you down).....shaft does good damage and is a good long-range weapon but it is quite costly...and not my style

...so i guess at first i'll stick with isida

I would've upgrade the Turret if I were you, Isida is very powerfull and you can survive with a lighter hull because of the healing ability.

Hornet M2 is not that bad, not even considering the amount of health you regain when you use M3 Isida.

I think it absorbs 50% of the health it sucks. so if u kill and opponent with full health u would get half health

Ricochet is good in map ping-pong, Iran, Silence, Silence II, Moon silence,Sandbox and few other maps. You need skills to play with Ricochet in Silence maps. Its not a nooby gun so u need strategy to play with it.

Viking is a favourite with freeze and it is effective. Hornets get killed too fast. Titan a bit too slow
