 5 hours a day? Whoa. You should limit yourself. :lol:  The Crystal-fund isn't worth it at low ranks if that's what you're aimed at.

 

 

Listen to Raphael2. :P  Get Hornet first. Then, since Wasp M1 is so cheap, once you reach Colonel rank you can get M2 wasp if you want.

 

 

1. Make sure you get an M2 combination as soon as possible. (Hull, Weapon) A good paint is recommended.

 

2. Don't get everything to M1.

 

3. Only buy one paint that lasts a long time like Forester. Don't buy every paint in the Garage because you won't use them and it'll be a waste of crystals. Don't buy Dragon just 'cause it's expensive and looks like something advanced. Ricochet was back in the days before Re-balance. Nobody uses it anymore. :o  Well not the majority that is.

For turrets, I have M1 Firebird and M1 Smoky. . . So if I get M1 Isida that won't be too much right? And, at what rank do M2 combos appear? For example, M1's start appearing at about Sergeant Major-WO1 ish.

No it won't. For M2's I'm just saying be ready to buy them or just save Crystals in case of a Sale and such.  You should buy Hornet as I said. You only have one M1 Hull- Mammoth, so Hornet should make a nice addition. After that be ready to save for either a Good Paint or M2 Weapon/ M2 Hull.

 

(When choosing what to upgrade first consider the facts. An example would be Freeze/Mammoth- which to upgrade first to M2? Well Mammoth M2 has a bigger difference to M1, so logically you'd get M2 Mammoth./ Another example would be what to upgrade: M2 Firebird, or M2 Hunter? Well M2 Firebird has a much bigger difference than Hunter, so logically you'd get M2 Firebird first.)

 

For paints, you should get a paint that you'd like to look at and beneficial to you. Like, you wouldn't buy something like Spark or Dragon. No Ricochets around. Get the paint that protects against the Gun you hate most.

 

Important: Wait for Sales.

I haven't used it in a long time (I've been using Smoky a lot). But I like playing the role of a medic in higher ranks, since you can farm XP easily, so yes.

Smoky is a pretty fun weapon to use. Stay behind and keep shooting. :P Especially on Drugs it's basically a rapid-fire Thunder with a 6% to 1-hit KO.

Get isida today, freeze is really cheap and with isida you will earn enough crystals to buy M1 freeze which is almost as good as M2

 Yep. Smoky M2 is much more dynamically fun and useful. You've been saving for it, so get it. Isida's just a distraction from your main goal if you view it from  my point. :P I doubt Isida M2 would pack a punch in killing at your rank either way, but with Smoky you'll be able to. :D

^Fire m1 is good for you rank, but you will need to use something else(some m2) in the leutenant ranks until you become major and can get m2 firebird. My friend uses m1 firebird in DMs and he is third leutenant. (1 gold diamond) Your choice then.

Honestly although Firebird is good, I don't recommend it. You need a fast hull to go with it (M1 Wasp), and the reload time is way too long. It is good if you play with ranks below you. However, it is recommended that you get another weapon after WO5.

I recommend M1 Smoky. 11K for M1, so pretty cheap. Very dynamic weapon (Fits almost any hull, Good in all gamemodes, Suitable for big or small maps). If you buy M1 Mammoth, you can use it with Smoky and Mammoth is only 3K.

But now that I look at it, the sale just brought in more amateurs with Isida. They don't know you can hit opponents above you on a ledge and even ignore you when you have 1 health point left. :mellow:

 At Warrant Officer ranks Firebird/Wasp combo is amazingly powerful.

 

Recruit -> WO1 : I used Freeze/Wasp

 

WO1 -> WO5 : I used Firebird/Wasp

However, as you leave your Warrant-Officer ranks you won't be able to use Firebird/Wasp anymore. Or if you do, you'll have a rough time using it. You'll get shot down too much. Either that or you'll have to be very patient because it starts rocking when you get M2 Wasp again.

I get annoyed when isida's dont heal me.... They just run past you and try to get a kill :( But isida is still a good turret. I'd recommend to players as one of the best.... More so at m3

 I guess. The range it has is very flexible though- which annoys me since it still locks onto me even if I make a sharp turn and the Isida isn't even facing me. :angry:  

 

But true enough Isida's primary battle component is being a healer- which some fail to do as you've mentioned. Isidas can't take on multiple enemy tanks (On drugs maybe) lol. But a Tank backed by an Isida can. :lol:

 

Wish  Tanki Online would make a short in-game guide about each weapon. Like when Newbies first purchase a gun, they get a free virtual ''Brochure'' of the gun.  It includes the definition, techniques, important, and so on.

 

1. It can be bought separately. Each costing a certain amount of Crystals.

 

2. It can be bought in a combo. Like the kit.

 

3. It can come along when you first buy the gun at M0.

 

It'd make better Tankers out of the newbies. :lol:

I've also noticed that 2x Armor isn't just a 2x Armor for Isidas. It also greatly improves their results on offensive strikes. So Drugs on Isida is a double-winner.

Is M1 Smoky good in the Lieutenant ranks? I usually dominate in Polygon DM's against lower ranked players, but today all the battles I saw were up to Lieutenant ranks. It wasn't hard to keep my D/L above 1, it was just hard to keep up with the amount of kills compared to other players. (I started at the very beginning of the game)

I think so. Although you might not want to go upfront with it since you'll be going up against things like Isida, Railguns, and Thunders.

 

Stay behind and keep firing. I think a very good map for it is Bobruisk. It's awesome there. Let the Critical hit work its magic.
