Smoky m2 or Thunder m3?

 

So my question is, I just ranked up and can now buy thunder m3.  I love using thunder m2 but have heard that its effectiveness starts to taper off at higher ranks.  Should I upgrade to smoky m2 (I have m1) or Thunder m3?  I probably use mammo m2, dict m2 and hunter m2 hulls the most.

You need to rank up 1 more time for m3 thunder.

 

I should go for smoky m2, like much people said there's no difference between m2 and m3 thunder. And there are much thunder protection paints. I have seen some smoky m2's and they own

Ummm, twins aren't early "boomers".  They are practically useless at m0 and completely own m2 and up.

Should I get Dictator M2 or Hunter M2?

Although their stats appear similar they are very different hulls.  Hunter is almost like a more armored hornet m2 and dict m2 is really more of a mid field type hull more similar to a viking.  Both good, just depends what you want to do and what gun your using it with.  I've owned with both although I tend to use the hunter more with flame and freeze weapons and to attack the flag while I often use dict with twins/thunder and just go for kills while occasionally getting flags.  I have a rail m2 as well and I usually use that with hunter.

Only ping-pong and Island, otherwise it isn't that bad in farm.

You can shoot while hiding behind pipe and plant mines to avoid close range.

Unless I'm in there with my m2 mammo and m2 twins, then forget about it :)

If you can hold off and wait, viking m2 unlocks two more ranks up from where you are now and mammoth m2 unlocks next rank.  Those are both SIGNIFICANTLY stronger m2 upgrades to go with.

No actually. I have a Recruit account which I ranked like 4-5 times and Twins M0 is good at those ranks if you use it on a heavy hull. Even better in Moon-Silence.

Its been something I've been worrying about a while, so thanks for making up my mind. Also i dont think i can wait cuz i can't survive with m1 dictator and m1 mammoth :P

Yeah no worries, I also went ahead and got the m2 dictator because I couldn't survive anymore,  I thought I'd probably just have to eat it and go ahead and get the viking m2 as well once I got to that level but that hasn't been the case.  Just look at the dictator m2 as a really fast mammoth m1 as they have the same armor rating.  I still roll with either m2 mammoth, dict or hunter and have no desire to get m2 viking now especially because i got m2 twins and they rock with dictator since its so high it can shoot over your own guys when they are in front of you. Dictator m2 and thunder m2 or twins m2 and a good paint are a bad-A combo and you can steal plenty of flags especially when drugged.

I like freeze and isida but with old tanki I loved ricochet.

 

People keep telling me ricochet sucks with the new update so I thought I would turn to the community...

This is where the little devil and angel pop up on my shoulders....  should I be dishonest or tell you the truth?  Ok, you'll get the truth.  Rico sucks now, totally sucks... don't waste your money.  It runs out of shots way too soon and you can barely kill the more armored tanks even if you hit them with EVERY shot.

 Ricochet sucks now. Agreed with HighwindsGDN, though M2-M3 is really good- if you know how to use it then again.

 

Better off getting Ricochet when you rank more and already have a good M2-M3 combo so if you end up not liking Ricochet, then you have other alternatives.

 

Testing for MU should be coming later on, so you can use that chance on Test server to test out Ricochet M2-M3.

 

Get Freeze or Isida. Freeze is such a beast Anti-Drugger. Isida you'll get more points. So take a look at this, with Freeze you can ensure a win. For Isida you can make the win bigger. Just be a good Freeze and aim for Druggers when there are. Hide behind a wall and when they come zooming through spray them with your pesticide-spraying Vacuum. If you end up getting isida well, heal.

Well they do say there is barely any difference between M2-M3 Thunder. If you plainly don't like Smoky then don't get it, but it can be a nice alternative. I don't believe Smoky is like a Thunder whereas you handle multiple opponents unless they're really weak. Instead stay behind or keep some distance and barrage them with rapid-fire. Sooner or later that critical will come up. I've went up against Smoky M2's and I've got to say they're good.

I got ranked 2nd in a Drug-war battle in CTF Bobruisk. Playing with Captains and Majors. I didn't drug- and my D/L was above 1.50. Shockingly I was using Wasp/Twins just for fun- and yet the first time I used that combo I could only get 2 kills in like 15 minutes. What is happening?! <_<  And I beat an M2/M2 Railgun Dictator in that map too, by myself whereas we both had full health. -Feels so proud-

No I'm thinking about it. I'm going on Test server to use Twins and Wasp again. With MU maybe I can upgrade Wasp's weight and then it'll be perfect for Twins. Great speed and stability yes?  

 

But Drugs kind of suck your crystals up. I'd suggest either never buying drugs or only buying Drugs after you've reached an effective combo. That's why I'm saving up my Drugs from Dailies for a big drug war. ;)
