What to buy? What to use?

I could care less about railgun protection cause if you do the math, M3 hornet dies to 2 M3 railgun shots on average anyway. Even without a paint, M3 hornet can survive 1 shot. With tundra, which has 18% reduction, I can survive 2 shots only around <20% of the the time. As far as twins protection goes, Electra has 30%. Anyway I think I'm going with Electra cause it just looks like a boss.

 

 

If it is just about looking cool then buy any paint you want. If it is about function and I was going to drop that much on a paint, I would at least assess what it is I need as a player.

 

First are you

 

1. A flag grabber

2. A long range shooter

 

 

If I was a flag grabber I would get as much protection as possible against one of the following

 

1. Thunder

2. Freeze

3. Rail

4. Isidia

 

If I am just going to stand back and shoot I would get as much protection against

 

1. Rail

2. Thunder

 

 

 

The higher you get the more likely it is you will see these units along with Ricco (but I see it far less than the others). Twins seem to be a low / mid - rank gun. No need to be concerned with it when buying such an expensive paint.

ok it IS possible. look up Dark-King in the hall of fame. he is 3rd liutenant (last time i checked) and his wealth is around 40 000. i saw a colonel with the same wealth :shock: so if you see Dark-King with m3 viking... don't complain that he is a buyer.

 

The only reason why people complain about buyers is because it hurts their ego when a lower rank with better gear is kicking their ass.

 

I, for one, am pro-buyers. I haven't spent a single dime on this game, but without them I would not get the privilege to play. Cheers to buyers!!!

But there's another problem: if you've already got your weapons upgraded then what's the point of ranking up? You're just gonna go around killing people and that's about it. Some people in this game actually dedicate their time to earning crystals. :|

So your saying when you get to Third Lieutenant and have unlocked everything there is no point to rank up? Of course not. So think of that when saying your statement.

Nothing, save up for M3 Railgun. I've seen WO3 players with M3 Hunter + M3 Railgun.

Trust me, when you get to the Warrants and you use Firebird, you'll gonna get raped by all the other tier 2 weapons. Although Railgun is an exception. Start getting used to M2 Railgun first because Marshals use M3 Railgun too although it's a tier 1 weapon.

raped? really? There is nothing wrong with m3 firebird and m3 hunter. I am a wo3, and I have m1 viking with m3 firebird. Using that combo, I can kill pretty much anything as long as I am in the right map (not too big, lots of ways to get close to people). 24 dps is a lot, as long as you are smart about using it.

I don't know which one to get as they both have their good points...

All of them are good with it, it depends on whether you want to go fast or have lots of health or a combination. Dictator is the cheapest by a mile though!
