What to buy? What to use?

I have m2 rail, m3 fire, m3 hunter and hornet. (and m3 twins, m1 smoky, m0 titan and m0 wasp but i never use those)

I'm planning a 3100 crystal buy when I get the pass in daily bonus:

My options are (in order of how much I want it):

1. m3 railgun because I already use m2 railer a lot and m3 railgun is a huge advantage. I would then save for mammoth to give me more life when playing against high ranks. After the buy, I will need 100 crystals to get m3 railer.

2. m2 isida because it isn't too expensive (relatively) and I have heard that it is epic from some reliable sources. It would also give me almost enough crystals to m1 my hornet, and from there get safari/another paint.

3. get m0 thunder, heading for m1 thunder when becoming wo2 (8000 xp)

4. get mary, m1 hornet, and m0 viking, which would just be kind of a waste.

So unless someone badly wants me to get the others, my options are m2 isida or m3 railgun. Which one would be better, in your opinion?

Obviously do not buy mary, it has no protection which is all that matters IMO

I would go for m3 rail. If you can't m3 the isida it's not gonna be useful as you grow ranks. I still see some marshals use m3 rails

M3 Railgun and M3 Isida are the only Tier 1 guns that you see Marshals use. Although I've seen one using M3 Smoky.

I recently became a WO2. Since the beginning I have played with and updated the same weapon/ tank. I started with Hunter (now M2) and Twins (now M3). When it became possible I changed my tank into a Hornet (now M1, and till recent planning for it to be M2).

 

I realy like my Twins, mainly because I am an agressive/ sneaky player and I like to go for flags. And I like the Hornet because of its speed, only bad thing is the HP, but when killed you are back in action quickly. I hate camping, don't care about rating or ratio (why should I?), but I do like winning games and crystals. I'm always in the middle of a battle, mostly starting from mid range and ending in short range. The battles I like most are (any) Fort Knox, Silence, 2042, Iran, Industrial Zone.

 

My Garage was pretty emtpy till now, cause I'm realy digging the stuff I'm fighting with. But because of Tanki 2.0 I said to myself, lets check out some other weapons, and I did (since I get it all back in crystals in 2.0). From my savings for the Hornet M2 I bought The Isida (M1), because I read some good stuff about it in combination with the Hornet. I also bought Thunder (M0).

 

So my Questions are:

1. Are Twins still good till the highest ranks? If not (and I have seen people saying that), why not? Seems to me it's the weapon with the highest damage per minute.

2. Is the Isida good for my style of play? I have tried it only at M1, by far not better then Twins at M3. Is Isida realy all that at M3? Can't seem to heal myself enough while killing. And is it good up to the highest ranks?

3. I thought Thunder at M0 sucked ass, I am not patient enough to wait for reload, thats probably why I like my Twins. Why is everyone that fond of Thunder at M3?

4. Do you suggest I stick with Hornet, or should I invest in Viking.

5. Perhaps another Weapon for me? Perhaps Freeze.... the most annoying gun in the battle field (for me)

6. What guns are not competible at the highest ranks?

2) Better to take freeze :)

Dictator-wich can be easily destroyed by other twins

Hornet- quite fast..but not as strong at the beginning

or should i wait for the viking?-wich i dunno what does..

i would actually go for hornet because it is v. gd if you can play with low life. viking isn't bad though... depends on your gamestyle of course. btw, can i know yer rank?

Thanks a lot too for your answers! Haven't thougth about the Ricochet, seems indeed a perfect choice. I can use the same style of play with a more powerful weapon, and also no reload!! Rico doesn't have reload right?

 

But then again... does Rico go well with the Hornet or do I need Viking? What i'm realy trying to say is.... does the extra HP of the Viking make up for the extra time I need to get away after stealing a flag? Is speed key, or is it the HP, or a combination of both (if it's a combination, seems like it to me it doesn't realy matter which tank I choose). Therefor I would like to know what exactly do you mean by Hornet is better if you are good at using it?

Firstly, rico does have reload, like firebird, freeze and isida, but afaik (without ever using rico as I am useless with twins) I don't think that the reload is too much.

 

However, rico-hornet or rico-mammoth wins, not rico-viking. Rico-hornet has enough speed to get in range to defeat the thunders, enough damage to defeat the thunders, and enough speed to escape the freezes. And, as long as you are good with rico and hornet, then use it. Rico-mammoth is the other option, but not rico-vikings imo.
