What to buy? What to use?

I am a WO1 and I want to decide whether I should ditch my hornet and get a viking. I use an Isida M1 that I will upgrade to M2 soon. Hornet is fast but has a low defense and is unstable; the Viking is slower but much sturdier and has a lot more defense. I am starting to go into high level games so I would like some opinions. Thanks.

 

not sure if anyone read my question so here it is... I would appreciate a pros and cons list if possible. If not, just list some quick reasons. (Not sure how different reasons and pros and cons are... :oops: )

as skitee would say, the specs will be different in 2.0, so yeah.... but if the specs stay the same, u should get m3 dic, m0 freeze. unless you get m2 freeze obv.

Turret always comes before the tank so M2 Freeze + M2 Dictator then save up for Storm or Rustle if you can. After get M3 Freeze and M3 Dictator.

Don't buy or upgrade anytihng untill you get to WO1. Keep saving up for First Sergeant and Sergeant-Major then get Thunder and Viking at WO1 then upgrade them starting with Thunder first.

What St.Evergreen said is what I did .I saved for both thunder m0& viking m0. Just make sure you will have 1100 crystals when you reach wo1.

just wondering but would thunder and mammoth be a good combo for campers and flag defenders. Also, is there any disadvantages to this combo. Thanks

If you're defending your flag, that means that you need to be prepared for close range combat. Thunder has splash damage so you would damage yourself when enemies come close to you. Mammoth with Freeze is a very good combo for defending flags.

btw mammoth is strong and the splash damage would not effect the performance, and if you're smart you can put a mine and than go back so the person that is attacking you will explde.

Hornets tend to stick on to you if you have Thunder. Hornet is twice as fast as Mammoth so yeah... besides, Freeze can slow the enemy down so they can't run away.

M3 smoky and m3 hunter is exceptionally good. My brother (hogree) has it as a first sergeant as well and he also has 1500 in the bank.

 

So u should save. Other people say thunder-viking, I'm not so sure. Hogree chose to go with isida and is now spending all of his crystals on isida+hornet, thus working for a long-term plan.

 

You should never waste those crystals. Most people (like me) waste crystals until they become warrant officer one and those people have a huge disadvantage over the sensible people. If you save those crystals wisely, you can get probably m1 thunder and m0 viking at warrant two, which will be amazing.

 

Personally, get m2 rail though. I got m2 rail/m3 hunter as a sergeant-major, and that was very good until I got my m3 rail recently. But only get this if you like rail, you could also get isida/hornet upgraded or thunder/viking.

thunder and mammoth is worse than freeze-mammoth for flag-defending, but for camping, yes, it does work, and is arguably the best combo IMHO. :)

wait for 2.0 open testing, and then we can look at what the specs of the weapons and tanks will be in 2.0. As for now, just wait and ask the question later: we have no real reason to make a decision now.
