The best body would probably be Hornet or Viking.

 

Hornet:

-Very fast so you can get in range

-Small so harder to aim at

 

Viking:

-Good Hp allows you to survive when you're getting in range

-With decent speed you can get most of your enemies

-Good Hp allows you to leave your base to help other people, Hornet might be too weak therefore increases the chance of you getting killed when you're out of your base

I know the differences betweens upgrade levels and I'm pretty sure that M0 Viking can't survive 6 shots of a M2 Thunder. M0 - M1 Viking normally can only survive 4 - 5 shots.
