Change the Name back please

Edinburgh... I mean if you are going to switch the name at least announce it don't just put it in patch notes....no wonder why it is unpopular now.

 

I tried putting the name fort knox 3 as the name in a game and boom...magically i was able to play like 20 straight games of it.

 

Please change the name back or here is a better idea. Actually announce what names have been changed and from what!!

You can't blame the change of name on its unpopularity. Name changes don't go unnoticed, whether or not it is formally announced in the news section. Lack of player interest in checking out the map (Usually, unfamiliar names in the battle list draws attention) is the reason. True Cologne attracted more of a following because of an event, but Edinburgh has been in the game for a while, and you can't blame them for either trying to bring it back up or replace it.

Also, we can blame tanki for failing to see that having rank limits on maps is also what kills maps..... Plus notice all the unpopular maps have had their names changed?!?!

Plus, before the map was way more popular but ever since the name change it has become unknown... I thought it was gone for months until I saw the name Edinburgh

Well, first we lost gallery, first and the best looking map. It could be called "xp mode" for example, due to it's great style for this way of battle.

Then crash, firebird and rico's secret weapon.

We got only madness, totally different, and less interesting.

Deck-9: Not just popular, it was one of the most popular maps if you ask me and it was becoming more and more popular, day by day and then it was suddenly removed. Such a shame...

Magadan: This was also a good map, but it wasn't so popular.

Canyon: One of the best maps (my opinion). The map was good-designed and it was popular as far as I remember.

Moon Silence (old Silence): I'm still looking forward to see this map back in  the game someday. I hope that developers are or will start working on improvements of this map (so they'll avoid from hackers). This map was very popular and most of the players liked it. I'm totaly sure that players still miss this map. 

As some of you already know, I don't like new Silence as it's a combination of Silence and Silence II. and I'm still looking forward to play the old version of this map again.

Siege, Brest: I have never seen these maps before played by players.

Cologne: This map was in the game for 3 days I think. It was one of the most played maps during the #Gamescom2014 event. If this map will return to the game someday...from first, it will be one of the most popular maps as expected, but after a month or two, this story will end. If you ask me...I like this map. :)

The map cologne sucks. Theres no where proper to hide and its a clumsy map. If you try driving hornet and nitro you almost always crash or flip over. They should replace Cologne with wolfinstein, there basically brothers and cologne is a smaller version of it.
