Ok, my first question is if you could stop saying xD and start saying XD because I find it extremely annoying. I'm pretty sure i'm not the only one. my reasoning is because when you say xD it looks like the eyes are lop sided and demented. 

 

My second question is what your opinions are on the hull Titan.

If the mass of the car is 1000kg and the average horizontal force supplied during the breaking is 8000 N ( another hint...8000N is the force of friction) , will he or she be able to stop in time to avoid hitting the child?

It's always a possibility - though yes, it's sad to have learnt of his recent departure, considering all he has done for the staff. He has our respect to take away with him as a reminder, I am sure.

He has become a candidate forum moderator (as MM2 clarified); yes, it is a surprise to me, though not necessarily a bad one. Hopefully he can reach the high standards that our experienced moderation team have set!

I'm sure that if you stick with the game until that point, then yes, you'll eventually reach the top rank.

 

M3 ranks are quite a long way off for you - it's good to see you're already reflecting on saving, but you should also build up a nice M2 garage to get you to that stage in the meantime. A kit (such as the excellent Medium M2 one) is a very good idea at your stage, especially since they will not stay as they are for much longer.

Nah, I already caught onto xD ages ago and I'm not going to change now... Even now, if auto-correct types XD at any point for me, I change it to xD. Yes, the eyes do look a bit demented, but I think the whole point is that the emoticon is meant to signify amusement on a slightly crazy scale anyway - and I've got too used to typing it like that :P

 

Personally, Titan is the hull I'd be least likely to use, ever. Though it was literally my first ever hull (Twins/Titan, over 3 years ago and so waaay back before the game got rebalanced) and I enjoyed its extra health then, nowadays I'd pick Mammoth if I wanted to use a heavy hull (which I have at M1, our of choice). To be honest, however, I vastly prefer lighter hulls as I personally think they lead to more dynamic and more skilled gameplay; so even Mammoth M1 is sitting in my Garage and rusting away. Therefore, Titan makes little sense to a player like me - I don't appreciate the heavy hulls much anyway, but when I do use one, why would I use Titan over Mammoth and lose that extra health? After all, they're both slow to a light hull user such as myself...

Hmm, I genuinely don't think I've splashed out on anything expensive using my own money. Alright, so two valuable items I have are my phone and my laptop - both, however, were purchased as gifts by my parents. In any case, if you define my 'own' money as money I've earnt, then that wouldn't really be much for most minors - after all, 'pocket money' is basically your parents' money gifted to you.

I'd give it between 6 and 10 months, most likely the latter end as I won't play much before exams. I was actually ranking at a decent rate recently too, but school's destroyed any more potential progress for now >.<

Force = mass x acceleration,

force / mass = acceleration.

-8000N (negative force of friction) / 1000kg = -8 m/s^2 (the acceleration of the car once the brakes are applied, can also be described as a deceleration of 8 m/s^2).

 

Initial velocity = 20 m/s and final velocity (when the car stops) would be 0 m/s,

acceleration = ((final velocity)^2 - (initial velocity)^2) / 2 x distance travelled,

so 2 x distance travelled = ((final velocity)^2 - (initial velocity)^2) / acceleration.

2 x distance travelled = ((0 m/s)^2 - (20 m/s)^2) / -8 m/s^2,

so 2 x distance travelled = -400 / -8 = 50m.

 

Distance travelled when braking = 50m / 2 = 25m.

 

But there is also the reaction time of 0.6s to take into account... The car will travel (0.6 x 20 m/s =) 12m in that time, meaning the driver only starts braking when the child is 28m away. 12m (reaction time) + 25m (braking time) = 37m (overall time for car to stop).

 

Yes, the car will just be able to stop in time to avoid hitting the child, as it would take 37m to stop, and the child is 40m away.

Well, there was no first Generalissimo - as quite a few players instantly became Generalissimos as soon as the rank was introduced, as they already had 1.4 million XP. Initially, the highest rank was Marshal - and the first player to reach that rank was .

 

Currently, no-one has the #1 rating in Tanki - since ratings were recently removed from the game, thus making this question much easier to answer xD

 

Your questions about the Generalissimos would only be able to be accurately answered by the developers, who may have access to the relevant databases.

 

There is no one 'most common combo' in Tanki, though I think it's general consensus that many common combinations consist of Hornet, used with a variety of weapons.

 

Again, it is possible that only the developers might know the statistics which would enable them to calculate such an average - though I'd estimate it'd be somewhere around 1.5 years for consistently active players.

OK Goldy, I was getting my lunch in the canteen the other day and I was carrying a plate in one hand, a drink in the other. I walked over to the cutlery tray and looked down. The cutlery was covered in food and as I had no hands available, I couldn't rummage through to pick the cleanest set of cutlery I could. I picked up the cleanest utensils in sight, paid and sat down. Before I even ate, I had to wipe the food of the knife and fork. Now, to complain or not to complain, that is the question (~William Shakespeare~)

 

I mean seriously, I know it's a school canteen but there have to be some standards of hygiene. It's simply basics to wash the cutlery properly even if the pizza does have a texture and taste of cardboard (it does!!) So, should I take a picture and show a teacher/cook?? Now I'm knit picking but when I had this chocolate sponge cake with custard, the custard had lumps scattered in it (Due to the fact that it not being stirred properly. Custard has to be constantly stirred until ready or it stiffens and has the same shape as maltesers!) 

 

What to do eh Gold!! (no I'm not a chef, I am just very fussy with hygiene and food standards ;))
