Hello Tankers, I would like to start off my saying that I don't know if this belongs here in the General Section of the Forum, or any other section, or maybe, I'm not supposed to post this anywhere... Of course after you read this you will notice a something, that I want to be a Reporter. And I would like to also ask if this is considered acting like a Reporter or not, because if it is, I am in no way trying to break any game rule, I just want to write articles... Well enjoy!

 

There I was driving around in my tank, destroying others, and getting destroyed by others, when there it was, the sound everyone likes to hear, yes, indeed, it was the gold box alarm, that awkward moment of silence spread across the map as everyone brought out their supplies! This awkward moment became more and more awkward by the second, everyone was waiting for the small little golden box to drop from above. One minute, Two minutes, and almost three, then someone shouted "Come on gold box the battle ends in 20 Seconds!" Everyone panicked as the timer counted down. It reached 15 seconds, no gold box, then 10, Still no gold box! Then, what's this, 5 seconds before the battle finishes, the gold box starts to drop slowly, everyone charges full speed ahead across this Stadiums floor! The timer is down to 2 seconds now, without even looking at anything everyone closed their eyes and crashed! When they opened their eyes, they saw... They were to late, the timer reached 0 a second before it reached the top of the pile of tanks!

​Everyone was furious! So mad, ready to rage! Rage like there was no tomorrow! Everyone drugging, this wasn't just any drug war like you see with a lot on Generalissimos, this was a drug war like never before. Everyone drugging, five tankers using Heavy M3 kit, others using Medium M3 kit, tones with Prodigy, tones with Clay! Everyone going crazy! Then there it went again, that beautiful sound that can change a huge drug war into a calm, quiet, battlefield, well for at least a minute or two.. and that's exactly what this sound did, everyone was drugging but as soon as that sound had its time to shine, everyone turned their attention to it! Everyone waiting there, with drugs on, health ready to be used... But wait, ANOTHER PROBLEM?! Yes, server update was to start in 1 minute and 30 seconds! Counting down... then 10 seconds before server update, it started drooping, everyone charges with there heart racing so fast, even fast then M3 Wasp Micro Upgraded speed to the max! I closed my eyes, and just went threw! Then I opened my eyes to see... I got that gold box, and a second before server update! Pretty impressive. No one was mad, after all, this was a huge drug war, fund was huge! And everyone got their share of it a second after my amazing catch. See you in the battle field!

I actually can do much longer than this, and this isn't really an article anyways, it more of a story. Anyways, hope you enjoyed reading this. I hope one day I'll be excepted as a Reporter, where I will write 10 times longer than now!

There's currently no section for posting the writing of non-reporters. There is a creativity section for graphic arts, so I don't really see why there shouldn't be one for creative writing...

 

Anyway, my thoughts:

-I'm not sure what kind of tone you're trying to go for with this piece. Is this meant for comedy? Is it meant to be an epic? Something else? I personally think that pieces like these need a definite tone.

-The blinding white text makes it hard to read. Please just make it default. Grammar could also be improved.

-The pacing is a bit rushed. Take the time to explain the details a bit more thoroughly.

Its not to supposed to be funny... and I know, 1,000 crystals isn't much, but who cares... just use your amagination that 1 000 crystals is like 1,000,000 crystals :P

I'd suggest creating a Creativity Topic called Yisroel's Stories or something of the sort. Since these are kind of creative, imaginative pieces of literature, they do belong in Creativity.

You should check out the press: an interesting contest is awaiting you. Great story, I liked to read it but a gold box takes never 3 minutes to drop unless he has a lazy day ;) Anyway, great read! Looking forward to read more stories or article in the future :)
