Honestly, I'm quite surprised with all the negative feedback on the upcoming update to nerf supplies. I would have expected more people to be filled with joy, rather than despise. But then again.... most of the complaints that argued for the nerf of supplies, probably came from new comers or low ranks that wound up in a generalissimo drug war, and were like "forget this! I'm not gonna play tanki because of all those drugging cheaters!"  :ph34r:

 

P.S. - On a side note, I hope the next VLog will discuss Tank man day sales.  :)

Most Tankers are happy with this coming update. You will not hear much reaction from satisfied players.

That is just human nature.

 

No, you hear the druggers who are pretty unhappy the most, because they feel their "Glory Days" will soon come to an end.

 

Been in Tanki for a while and it 's always been the same.

With every coming update you almost only hear the people who don 't like it.

 

I was one of those complainers when they speeded up the Hornet and Wasp with a Rebalance...well, now I have to admit it

was one of the best updates ever. Love those light hulls!

In the end Tanki Online makes a lot more good than bad decisions, and I believe our Devs are good people with a good

"gamers" heart.

Remember TO is been around for a while: proof enough in the vastly changing gaming world, where only the big names like

COD, GTA etc. seem to be everlasting.

 

And so in time most complainers will adapt, and I wouldn 't be surprised if they actually start to like this update

over some time.

More balanced gameplay will benefit everyone, because battles will get a lot more exciting.

 

And those who say no, drug wars are exciting: I sincerely hope they make an option for you to still have them.

Just a warning, prepare to be disappointed if you only fight against other dedicated druggers...

no more shooting gallery my friends... :P 

 

Don 't think at all that druggers with skills (most high-rankers) and those with some skills will actually leave.

No IMO solely the "Emperors without Clothes", those Tankers who think they are "great" but just lack

even the basic skills might go. Can 't say I will miss them.

^ Not saying I particularly enjoyed drug wars when I was a lower rank, because at that time I couldn't spend any crystal to supplies. All of it had to go to upgrading my turrets/hulls to m3. But, now that I am pretty close to having all the m3's I want at the moment, I can afford to spend a bit more crystal on supplies. It's just, I would have liked the opportunity to see what is was like to participate in drug wars a lot more often, with their dynamic game play. I will no longer have that opportunity now.  :mellow: I'm not so much dissapointed, but more unenthusiastic.

Most of the time people go into battle NOT kill anyone and never will do it for that are simple Noob`s and entering to steal the Gold.
Then 1 or 2 of those if they want to win they have to use the items to fight 10 kills and 8 supposedly allies NOT let them pass.

It was, is and will be the only way to fight the hacker`s using drugs.

the supplies thing is really dumb. of course they ruin the game for some people, but look from the other perspective - its fun for the others. if you don't have supplies, play in other battles. making pro battles free would've been a way better thing to do. now some newbies cry that higher ranks bully them and will ruin the game for us.

 

look, it won't get much easier to battle those high rankers if you have a m2m2 combo while others play with m3m3.

 

drug battles are one of the most interesting ones to play because of the dynamics, the fast gameplay where every second counts and smallest mistakes can change the whole outcome of the battle. please, don't release this update or make it one of the options in the pro battle section.

I 100% agree with this. Dev's think about how dumb this update will be and please don't release it...

I understand the reason for the cooldowns, but I would also like to request that in Pro Battles, you have the ability to choose "Unlimited Drugs". This will mean us hardcore druggerz still get some fun. There's nothing quite like an all-out drug war, and losing that aspect of tanki would be so sad.

i want you to try to win a normal battle without touching a supply and having a 1.00+ DL,and get a good reward.

if you're unlucky like me,you'll end in the team with almost no druggers and get crystals.. from the boxes with enemies swarming ur base waiting to spawn kill you

I really really love the V-log, but there is something completely wrong with it, it is short, we wait 7 days burning from the inside and when it is finally out, it is 5 minutes -_-, that is just not fair towards us, either you make it longer, or you make it 2 in a week :/, Please?

About time something was done about the drug abuse. Some players just get full with those and run straight to the fire because they know they won't be burned much, without any other war plan. And with that, the game loses it's fun and it becomes frustrating.

On the other hand, this will discourage the lower ranks to play in games where there are a lot of higher ranks.
