"/vote" command

I have seen many hackers in Tanki Online some even recruits ( of course that was a while ago ) and I use the "/vote" command and what happens? Nothing!!!!!! And it's so annoying. They hack forever. And I can't put it on the Special section of the forum cause I have no proof! I can't record/take pics of the people. so Please make it that the vote command does more( also maybe you could make it so that you can check what the people where doing) cause once I was just driving around while my team mates where fighting(like an argument) then one threatened to report us all. I wasn't even doing anything and was reported.

The vote command sens a notification to a moderator that they are needed in battle. Unfortunately there are a ton of request, and not a lot of moderators on duty all at once for 50 separate servers.

 

Player moderation was tried, but it was abused a lot, so it was removed again. Maybe in the future we will get a reworked version back, but we just have to wait and see.

 

If someone reports you for no reason, they will get punished for wasting a moderator's time. However, if like you say, you were just riding around and doing nothing while your team was fighting, that can be considered multing. You are intentionally not helping your team.

Can't there be an AI moderator? Or some thing that monitors the battle and record footage and send to moderators?

The old team-kick gave us an extra column on the scoreboard - it was simply named "Kick", remember? It was extremely easy to abuse and it was soon removed from the game leaving /vote as our only recourse against undesirables...

last time i voted an hacker i got blocked with him.. it was a low account luckily.

/vote command, does I feel occasionally work well.  I have used it a fair bit over time.  While it can be frustrating  with no apparent note being taken, often I have seen the offend suddenly leave.  Recently.  I saw an offender that I had reported suddenly disappear for a short while and to then t come back on the opponents side. he the suddenly disappeared never to return.  His offence was crystal gathering had an exceptionally low kill rate and get had been destroyed many, many times.  We were struggling to keep ahead and irritated I reported him for not supporting the team.   I felt that a moderator had banished him first for a short time but hung around to see what he might do.  The offender returned to sin on the other side perhaps in the believe that I might not mind due to the fact it might be construed hew was working against the other team.  

 

We must remember, that the moderators are usually volunteers, who may be enjoying their own game.  they have to visit and then watch for evidence before acting.  Some times this can take a long time depending on the type of offence  Some offences are easy to spot while some types of offence are subtle and clandestine.

 

 I hope that the moderators are given some training, support and advice and not just left to their own devices.   I also hope that they receive some reward for their time also.  We do need much more of them and offences should be easier to report.

I do think that it might be useful if moderators could acknowledge receipt of a report a simple OK and action taken or not.  I am not asking necessarily for a huge report just something simple. OK and dealt with,  or can not catch him.  Unless that is they want more help in catching the culprit.
